American Fare with a Latin Flair. Fine dining tucked away in nature walking distance to Gordon Beach.
The location is very good. No visible person with any proprietary attitude. The "greeter/seater" has no idea what she is doing. There were a few empty tables outdoors (where we wanted to sit) but she would not sit us there "because the waitress was too busy." With almost no one in the main dining room, she should have re-assigned a waiter to the porch.......New restaurant in an inn near our summer home. This is not the way you treat first time customers. We were given a table with the bartender as the waiter. He also had no clue or training as a waiter. The food is relatively expensive and someplace between adequate and mediocre. $55 for a plate of pasta with no salad or sides and one entree of salmon. The salmon came with a salad and 2 sides. The salad dressing was good. The bartender never asked me how I like the salmon cooked so it was (of course) overdone and under a thick blanket of sauce. He also never really came by; nor did he bring any bread although we saw bread gracing other tables. We were happy to see a new place open up but we will not return.

We donât get here often, but it seems like food has improved significantly over the past year with great selections and bigger portions. Maybe Iâm wrong, but regardless our last visit was the best yet. Eggs, healthy shakes, pancakes and French toast are all top notch. Coffee is also very good. Great bakery items as well. Friendly staff. Colorful decor and plenty of parking. Has some outdoor seating, but bees can be an issue.

Once again, I have returned to a favorite spot to eat in New Buffalo. The seating areas, are well lit, the tables are spaced comfortably, the service is prompt and friendly, the menu selection, includes items to fit most appetites, and the food is very tasty. I have explored other options for lunch and dinner in New Buffalo. As my son once said to me, "You know how, you have your favorite, and then you try somewhere else, and then you are reminded of why the other place is your favorite?""Yes, I do know!"

Over the last 25 years, Brewster's Italian Cafe` has grown from a small bakery to a full-service Italian restaurant in the heart of Harbor Country. Located in downtown New Buffalo, Michigan, Brewster's offers seasonally-inspired items and locally sourced
We had breakfast in the enjoyable courtyard with our family We had pancakes with delicious berry sauce.Another day we had lunch and each had a "make your own" pizza. Lots of ingredients like artichokes, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms....to chose from. For desert we shared an italian cream cake. Both time service was good even during busy lunch time.Thank you so much for your kind words! We will look forward to seeing you again sometime soon.

Convenient location right on the Red Arrow Highway in Union Pier. Interesting lunch spot that also brews kombucha, makes smoothies, and a small bakery (along with a few other supplies a visitor might want, like S'more ingredients). Sandwiches (tuna salad & turkey club) were great and served on delicious rolls they made themselves. Not inexpensive, but reasonable considering it's located in a fairly isolated "tourist-trap" area. Very limited seating inside (2) with a nice outdoor garden table area with small canopies over each table. Portion size was generous.

OK limited menu. Restaurant was only 1/4 filled and the host seated us near the kitchen exit doors. Asked to be moved.... no there are reservations and not available. All right... menu.... salad choices... cold roast 3 color potato salad or beet salad. Hello, it's January! Only 3 appetizers... crab cakes, roasted cauliflower or deviled eggs.... geez! Main courses short ribs, lobster risotto, etc. Chose champagne and mushroom chicken. Doesn't the chef know cold potato salad doesn't go with angel hair champagne mushroom chicken? Only saving element of this place was the delightful bar staff and pleasant guitarist who entertains. Oh wait..... the restaurant did not fill up at any time. Tables still empty.... makes the kitchen entry door seating kind of awful. Will never dine there again. Should have dined at Timothy's or Copper Rock.

Buffalo Bill's is right across the street from Redamaks. I cannot figure out why there are so many more cars at Redamaks when it's so mediocre, and Buffalo Bill's is so good. We have had a cottage in Union Pier for 30 years and we know the good from the touristy. Go to Bills. I'm partial to the brisket, and my wife raves about the pulled pork. The coleslaw is perfect, as is the potato salad. There are a half dozen entrees and a dozen sides. Plenty of beer options, too.The owner is a long-time experienced restaurant consultant. He's almost always on duty, making sure everything runs smoothly. Why DO people eat gunky hamburgers across the street when they could get a great meal for the same price? It's just one of life's mysteries, I suppose.

New Buffalo's only awarding-winning steakhouse, featuring prime rib, hand-carved steaks, seafood, chops, ribs, pastas, sandwiches, salads, Friday and Saturday night seafood and prime rib buffet, banquet facilities and catering services. A casual fine-dini
Popular place! Ran into a couple friends while there! Went for the Friday night seafood buffet and was pleasantly impressed with items that Iâm not usually impressed by; mussels and butterflied-breaded-deep fried shrimp. They both had above average flavor, not rubbery, and just enough breading. Everything else was good, not necessarily above-average. Iâll go back again!

My philosophy on food and business is simple and straightforward. Always use the finest and freshest ingredients possible, nothing less. Create flavors that contrast but, at the same time, compliment each other. Combine textures and colors... and pay spec
Outdoor seating, and pizza is baked in nearby ovens. Good food, and a lovely place to spend an evening. Unfortunately, while a variety of pizza is offered, none of them offer the option to include meat as one of the toppings. For that reason, because we really like sausage, ham or some sort of meat on our pizza, it is unlikely that we will return until meats are added to the menu.

Stopped in for our first time after the summer slam as locals to support them in the off season. They had great weekend specialsâI had the Grilled Salmon with Cherry-Chipotle BBQ Sauce with fresh roasted sweet corn salsa over Parmesan risotto-OMG Delish! And my husband had the Roasted NY Strip Loin Sandwich with melted Cheddar and Horseradish cream sauceâalso delicious! Oh and canât forget the Michigan Blueberry Crisp that was tart and sweet. You canât go wrong dining here, atmosphere and service is all spot on! And they treat their customers right with great specials in the off season! Thank you Tim and Jennifer!
