I've eaten at Camp Ti several times and I think this restaurant looks it's best at Christmas time when it's all decked out for the season. The rustic lodge look combined with the pretty Christmas decorations, might have you believe you're at Santa's place, with plenty of elves to serve you. While I came specifically for their JL Hudson's Maurice Salad, a personal favorite of mine, Camp Ti's menu offers a wide variety of tasty items, heavy on the meat. Their wings are some of the best I've had. Portions are on the large side and service is friendly and attentive. Camp Ti has a full bar for your favorite Holiday cocktail.Warm and Cozy, Camp Ticonderoga is a great place to enjoy a good meal...anytime.

Grand Openiing was this past Tuesday. Very nice place and up-scale from most breweries in the area.
We like Granite City a lot and dine there at least once every time we vacation in the Detroit area. The comfortable, family-friendly vibe of the place and the dependably good food and service are complimented by a fine selection of beers. (I find it hard to make up my mind, so I usually buy a flight.) I'd like to put in a good word for Granite City's Bavarian pretzel appetizer ($7.99). It's absolutely delicious and plenty big enough to share. Our most recent visit to this restaurant was for the specific purpose of enjoying this treat; we didn't even order an entree. BTW, at busy times the noise level in this place can be annoyingly high for diners who want to chat.

We were in the area on business, staying at a local hotel, and it was about 1000 degrees outside. We usually enjoy finding the local spots, but based on not wanting to drive very far and needing some serious A/C, this was the spot we chose for dinner based on a few reviews. We had made a reservation and were seated promptly, even a few minutes early, I believe. Nice start! I ordered the Southwest Steak Tacos and specifically asked whether the steak was sliced steak (as opposed to simply chunks of well done beef). I was told it was sliced (and mistakenly assumed that it might be prepared less than well done). I was therefore disappointed when it arrived as chunks of well-done stew-like meat. Combined with the salsa, pico, and aioli, it was a drippy mess to eat. I would not have ordered it if the sliced steak question had been answered accurately. My companion ordered the Hand Cut Filet Mignon and requested it cooked to medium. Unfortunately, based on the fact that the cut was very uneven in its thickness, the filet ranged from well done to rare, depending upon where it was cut into. I think for $27.90 for a 7-oz. cut, someone should have been able to prepare a consistently grilled steak.Regarding the service, our server was pleasant, but we felt as if she was attempting to up-sell us on much of what we ordered. We're assuming she had been instructed to do so. Did I want an additional taco? Too many pitches for appetizers while we were perusing the menu. The worst offense was after my companion responded, that "the well vodka is fine," he was still met with a litany of other higher-priced vodka options available, to which he politely declined. When our bill arrived, we had indeed been charged for a higher-priced, not ordered brand of vodka. At this point, we were tired and decided to suck it up and let it go. But, this was compounded by the fact that he was also charged $2.75 for a glass of club soda. Ordering this regularly in other establishments, we had never been charged for this before. It was just club soda from the tap.On the bright side, the highlight of the meal was the fresh, warm bread. Keep in mind that you have to request it - it was not offered, but when it arrived with pats of butter, it was amazing! Definitely have the bread. The meal was okay, the service was okay, but when back in that area, I think we'll seek out a local spot and leave the "chains" to others.

We really enjoyed our breakfast here. We ordered the French Toast and an egg/sausage scrambler. They were both very good and the French Toast was good reheated the next day. The service was good and fast and prices very reasonable. We will definitely return.

It still floors me when I speak to people who have never been to this place. The front horse-shoe shaped bar area has a great cool vibe to it...and their cocktails are almost as good as their salads. Upscale food without the upscale prices. I dig this place!

I love the intimate atmosphere. It's a great place for a romantic dinner. There was live music going on but the noise level was comfortable. Our server, Jake, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. The manager also checked on us throughout the night as well. My food was delicious and came out really fast. I would definitely go again.

We were reserved a large table for my boyfriend and I for my birthday, which was very nice of the restaurant to do. Service was excellent. We were brought bread and drinks right away. We had the scallops and braised short ribs as an appetizer. It was my boyfriendâs first time having scallops and he loved it! I had the Ahi Tuna, he had the teriyaki salmon - both cooked to perfection. Sauces were delcious. A dessert was provided, on-the-house, for my birthday. Our server, Shawni, was very personable and always available when we needed anything. My only critique would be that the dress code should be enforced. It is a fine dining restaurant and states business casual attire but there were people walking in wearing jean shorts, baseball caps, ripped jeans, etc. While others were dressed in suits and nice dresses. It was a bit off-putting, as there is a sign in the lobby that states no hats.Thank you Jessica for your kind words. We are honored that you chose to come and celebrate with us and are delighted that you enjoyed your meal with us.

My husband and I went there June 30th for our wedding anniversary dinner where we were greeted by Dee who is the maitre D. She was so kind and courteous and got us to our table quickly. Once we got there, she had already decorated our table with beautiful hearts and a card from her and the team. She teamed us with Jessica, Who she said would take great care of us and she was right! Between Jessica and Dee they treated us like VIP's and waited on us hand and foot! The meal was equally amazing Everything from the bread to the appetizers to the main course was absolutely delicious. And you definitely have to try their signature pineapple drink made with stoli's this period it is summer in a glass! Thank you all so much for making our evening memorable!
