I came her for lunch one weekday and thoroughly enjoyed my meal...a mushroom, ham and cheese omelet with their signature potatoes. Everything was fresh, well-prepared and generously sized. I will definitely return!
This rather newly opened place seems to be trying hard, but they miss sometimes. We have been there with a small group several times and the group reaction has been fairly consistent. They usually use good quality ingredients, but preparation has been inconsistent. Some menu selections have been nicely seasoned, while other were quite bland. Portions are certainly adequate, and for some they are perhaps too large. That property is also reflected in the cost of menu items which is substantial. Smaller portions at lower prices for some of their featured items might be more appropriate. While we do like their option of fruit vs. potatoes with egg dishes, our group has one consistent complaint -- for a place that claims to specialize in breakfasts, they serve mediocre, at best, coffee.

Home of the award-winning Galley Boy! Friendly curb runners serving up fresh, never-frozen burgers, shakes, & crispy extras since 1934!
This fun drive in has the guys running to your car to take your order. They are famous for their burgers, fries and milkshakes. Especially the Galley Boy with 2 special sauces. The spicy tatter teasers are the bomb! They are open year round but closed on all major holidays. You can call ahead or just pull in turn on your lights & order. Over all the food was really good, felt it could have been warmer. Itâs a must if you are in this area!

I had lunch here with family. The burgers were good. However, the salad with chicken was really disappointing. It was small for the price, with very little chicken or lettuce, actually. The iced tea was so watery, as well. One member of our party ordered fish, but wanted regular tartar sauce, but was brought the jalapeño sauce. She realized it after already putting it on the sandwich. There was a nice view if you were seated near the windows, which we werenât. Our table was very unstable, and we had to try to hold onto it during our meal. I wouldnât go back here again. We do apologize that your recent visit was less than satisfactory for you. We would love to hear from you as guest satisfaction is something that we hold to a high standard. I would love another chance to serve you and make your next visit better.

We have been in Akron for 28 years and just recently discovered Fred's diner. It is just what you expect a diner not made out of an old rail car to look like--a little dive hole in the wall with possibly the best breakfast in Akron. The service is usually quick and efficient and their motto says it all: eat, pay, get out. You never have to wait long for your food and if you leave hungry it must be something you did. I have tried a couple of their sandwiches(the cuy-a-hoagy is really good) but I always come back to the omelets or the chicken fried steak. Cannot not recommend this little gem highly enough. Once you try it I guarantee you'll go back,

My son and I went in following the lunch rush. By now most places are over people and are not the most friendly. This experience was nothing like that! Everyone behind the counter was so friendly and talkative. It wasnât the fake friendly either, it was genuine and sincere. They talked to my son and made jokes with him. They made the experience even better for us as first timers! The sandwichâs are so good! Fresh veggies and toasted perfectly! Tons of options to chose from! I canât wait to go back and try a new one! Definitely filling!

We eat at Moeâs multiple times a year, and itâs always a great experience. Tonight, we had fantastic drinks (the bartenders are awesome) and flavorful entrees. I had the mahi mahi with coconut risotto. It was perfect. My husband had the Asian style short ribs. He loved the noodles and matchstick veggies. Our friends enjoyed their food and drinks as well. Sit in the bar. Have a martini. Chat with the bartenders. You wonât be sorry.

Looking at the reviews:) And what I heard from locals, we stopped for ice cream:) Our expectations fail way short:( We ordered two sundae's:) One chocolate and the other a brownie:) Both came the same way. The brownie came packed by itself, and it was stone cold hard. The ice cream came in a styrofoam dixie like cup. The ice cream wasn't even to the top of the cup and really didn't look much more than 1/2 a scoop. It was simply poorly done and NOT worth the nearly $3.00:( Wait time for this little cup of ice cream was way to long on a non-busy day:( Quality of the ice cream was average at best:(Hi there,We are sorry to hear that your visit to our North Akron location left you disappointed. We would like to make this right and hear more about your visit. Please email me at [email protected] with your name, phone number, and a copy of this review. A team member will reach out to you.Again, our apologies and we hope to hear from you soon!Kelcey M.Swensons Drive-In Restaurants

What a find. Working in a local town and took a rare opportunity to have a nice dinner(3 of us). Sure fit the bill! It is a local place. Very comfortable. Food was amazing! We ordered sliders, heart attack burger, and chicken fettuccini alfredo. Ate family style. Generous portions of (really good) fries with burgers and sandwiches. Garlic stick with pasta. Staff and other guests were chatting about local stuff which was nice, obviously love here. Price...63.00 including 2 rounds of drinks, worked great for us. Even had leftovers for my co-workers! Hope to visit again soon!
