For such a beautiful location they really need to spiff up their food. My salmon was so dry that the edges were curled and a dollop of rice without anything, no salt, no butter nor a sprig of parsley. Harbor Lights on the other hand, which is part of the Anthony's chain and located on Commencement Bay always shines. A week later I ate at Harbor Lights, had the exact same meal and it was moist, the side dish was tasty, they serve bread (I was not offered any at Anthony's) and the service was impeccable.Get your act together Anthony's, you've got high dollar real estate, get help that knows how to cook!Hi there, thank you so much for bringing this to my attention! I feel terrible about the dry salmon that you received! I will be sure to share your comments with our team and we will certainly look into this. I would also like to have our General Manager personally touch base with you! Please email me at [email protected] with a contact phone number. Again, thank you and I hope to hear from you soon! ~Taylor, [email protected]

If you want great food and variety- this is the place. It definitely gives a "hole- in- the- wall" feel, but it is one of my favorites. I love their nachos and their Taco Thursday deals are great. My vegetarian friends rave about the Buddha wrap and go just for that! Oh, and I almost forgot about their awesome brunch! The only downside is its often difficult to find a place to sit, especially when it is their taco night.

In the Hotel Murano located on the 4th floor.
Wonderful meal and great service. We had salmon and filet mignon and they were both fabulous. The sides were great - we especially loved the creative spinach, fingerling, butternut and craisin side which sound strange but was amazing. Michael was out server and he was excellent. Really great meal!

A waterfront seafood market & bistro.
Although I gave this restaurant a 5, my husband would give it a 4. I am writing this, so... Such a wonderful, hot, day on the waterfront of Tacoma, I greatly enjoyed sitting outside and people watching with a delicious salad and perfect crab cakes and an excellent wine. His oysters had "too much breading." But, he enjoyed the perfectly poured porter. I would recommend this place on the industrial waterfront in Tacoma with no reservations. It was lovely, and within walking distance from our hotel.

This restaurant is next to the courtyard Marriott so a great location if you are staying there. I wanted to venture to Wooden City, but this was just so convenient. I sat at the bar, good service. They do add a 20% gratuity - yes even if you are alone - but itâs very clear on the receipt. They have extended Happy Hour hours. The food was good - especially if you are paying HH prices. I thought the wine pours were generous. I had a Caesar salad (too much cheese and dressing) and a flatbread.

Great Bay views and service staff, but the kitchen didn't deliver on the food.Lobster Bisque was tasteless and bland. No Lobster flavor and no Lobster meat in the Bisque. Only flavor that was apparent is Sweet Vermouth, and Worcesteshire sauce. We ordered Lobster Carbonara for the main course - No cream sauce, but it was drenched in olive oil or butter. 1/2 inch puddle in the bottom of the dish. Unappetizing, and I think this place was a total waste of good money for bad food. Showed the waitress the puddle of oil in the bowl and she said that it wasn't normal.Never coming back after this experience!Never coming bac

Based on a recommendation from a mutual friend, we tried this restaurant. It was also reviewed in Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. The food was excellent. I had the Twisted Reuben and it was delicious. They do offer gluten free buns for $2.00 more. There is no parking lot, so finding a spot on the street can be a little tricky. There are plenty of side streets nearby to park on.

We are a small family owned and operated boutique-style scratch kitchen restaurant. We serve northwest American style cuisine with European influence.
We arrived early for our 6pm reservation looking forward to a leisurely glass of wine before dinner. Unbeknownst to us, management chose to see our early arrival as an opportunity to sell an extra seating, rebooking our table at 7pm. They didnât mention this until half-way through our dinner when our server informed us that we would be expected to depart by 7pm. Our reward for arriving early, enjoying an extra bottle of wine and appetizers before dinner was to be rushed out. At 7:20, the manager came to our table while we were eating dessert and âexplainedâ that they had people waiting for our table and would we kindly hurry up. She further explained that they booked their tables on a 2 hour rotation and since we arrived early the âclockâ started ticking with our arrival rather than with our reservation. 4 people, 3 courses, 2 bottles of wine, and 1 totally offensive management practice. I guess we just didn'tâ eat fast enough for them. Iâve lived in Tacoma for 25 years and have never been asked to leave a restaurant because I didnât complete my meal quickly enough to suit the management schedule. Lesson learnedâunless youâre looking for âfast food,â take your business elsewhere.Sir, my sincere apology for the mistake that was made on our part with your reservation! We are small and yes, we sat you an hour early for your reservation so it did change our floor planning reservation system. This was no error on your part, and definitely our mistake! Iâm sorry if you felt that three hours at a table with us was pushing you out!!

The food here is somewhat disappointing given the location. Fish & chips were over-priced, fries were below average, soft drink was an off-brand instead of coke or pepsi, and the service while pleasant, was a little slow considering the place was half empty. Not sure why I had to wait 15 minutes for a table in a room that was not even half full..There are much nicer places to eat within walking distance of Dukes and the prices are similar for what is a much better experience.

Currently moving to Freighthouse Station, Hoping to be open mid March or so, will update asap with dates and times :)
Everything was amazing. Salmon chowder was absolutely wonderful. My daughter had a half of the Ruben, and loved it so much that she ordered another half. Meat was lean, rye bread had so much flavor. French dip was also delicious. Tried the Orange spice tea (from the abundant tea closet selection) and couldnât stop drinking it. Finished off lunch with a slice of heavenly apple pie. One of our best meals ever. We feel so lucky to have found this place.
