My husband and I were looking for someplace different to have dinner and we certainly found it when we went to the Hawthorne Bistro. The atmosphere is very welcoming and there's tons of nostalgic stuff to look at hanging from the walls. The staff are very friendly and helpful with the menu and drinks selection. The beer and wine choices are more than numerous. The food quality is exceptional and was served piping hot and quick. The noise level even though almost every table was full wasn't annoying. It was just an energetic buzz!!

There is a room in the back you can reserve for larger number of people or in the other areas for small amounts. I arranged a surprise dinner for my husband, 30 people. It turned out excellent. Good food for the price and the service was great. The two servers were awesome with their service. The owner is always there and makes sure things are running smooth. This location is very busy from noon to about 3:00pm. I ordered the Modern Bowl With Salmon. It had Tabbouleh, Pineapple Salsa, roasted Cauliflower and Broccoli, Tomatoes, Cucumber, fresh Greens, Jasmine Rice, Miso Carrot Ginger sauce and a piece of Glazed Salmon on top. This meal was very tasty for a healthy menu option. The flavours of the Salmon, Miso Carrot Ginger Sauce and Jasmine Rice complimented each other well. The Veggies were cooked perfectly. I enjoyed this meal.Service was very efficient and prices were reasonable.Thank you for taking the time to leave us a positive review. We went out looking for a good breakfast yesterday and decided on Coast Country Diner located in Cloverdale. The place was packed and a line up to get in. The staff were very efficient in getting everyone seated as soon as possible. We only had to wait only 10 minutes. My wife and I ordered breakfast. I had the Big Country breakfast which was awesome! 3 eggs, ham, sausage patties, bacon, chunky hashbrowns and toast. What more could you ask for. My wife had french toast with blueberries and whipping cream and a side of bacon that looked to be about 10 pieces. We both left happy and full. The prices are reasonable, especially for what you get! The place is old but clean, the staff kind and quick! Whats not to like!

The Roadhouse Grill on King George Blvd. seems to be a busy and popular place in White Rock. Several friends and I had dinner here the other evening after I had just flown in escaping the bitterly cold temperatures in Calgary. The dining room is beautifully decorated in rock and roll memorabilia. We sat at a table that could have come from my mother's kitchen circa 1950's.Ordering was prompt but service was slow that evening, possibly a half hour wait for the food. The portions of salad were very generous - I had requested the Chicken Taco Salad and it was a meal in itself. Lots of lettuce, taco chips, veggies and chicken - I almost finished it but not quite. I didn't order anything to drink - just water and my companion who had ordered the Cobb Salad also received a generous potion for a reasonable price. The atmosphere was cozy and warm and low noise. Live entertainment happens here but not that evening. This would enhance the dining experience to be sure. I would definitely return here to sample the menu another time and enjoy some entertainment,

Was heading to Airport and wanted convenient location to have lunch with business associates from the area. He suggested Cactus Club and I was expecting an Earls or Moxies type of place with nice decor, pretty people and marginal food... I was wrong. While Cactus Club has pretty decor and people, it also has amazingly fresh and well prepared food. Everything we ordered was of the highest caliber and would have suited a less casual restaurant just as well. The service was impeccable without being overbearing. Jessyka employee #42 at the Langley location was absolutely fantastic. We are from Grande Prarie and had the most hellish day. Located this Moxies and the dining experience was incredible thanks to her. She was kind and informative and extremely good at her job. My daughter has allergies and she took control to make sure she could safely eat here!! We left there feeling so much better and of course full bellies. The Keg use to be the place to eat but lately have found it going downhill. It is busy and they seem to want to get you in and out as fast as possible. The plates seem to have smaller and smaller portions. The orders are not prepared as ordered.....rare steak is not suppose to be brown throughout and crusty burnt on top. The baked potatoes seem to be pre-baked and then warmed up to serve. For the price there is lot better places to eat in the area.

The restaurant was so great, I left with a feeling that nothing could have been better. Service top notch, fun Wednesday night martini special to start, delicious food. I had the curry Kahlua prawns that we perfect, juicy prawns with wonderfully interesting flavour. Atmosphere is eclectic and unique and fun. Music at a perfect volume accentuated the experience. Our evening was perfect!
