Find out what American restaurants to try in Supply. Supply is a small unincorporated community in Brunswick County, North Carolina, United States located around the intersection of US 17 (Ocean Highway) and NC 211 (Southport-Supply Road/Green Swamp Road). Its name is derived from the use of the Lockwoods Folly River as a trade route in the 18th and 19th centuries. Residents of the nearby beach communities of Holden Beach, Oak Island, Ocean Isle, Caswell Beach, and Sunset Beach often used to commute to Supply for goods and other materials. This practice is still common, but development in the town of Southport and in the Intracoastal Waterway commercial districts has made traveling to Supply unnecessary.

Food is overpriced and the seafood is not fresh or local. Tastes like it was microwaved. Service was TERRIBLE. Just TERRIBLE. Staff is very very rude. We are locals and have dined here a couple of time purely out of convenience but the last time the owner Mary Ann was so rude and the staff so incompetent it is better just to spend our dollars somewhere else. Guys you will be disappointed. Go somewhere else

Silver Hill Grill remains the best TAKEOUT fried seafood in the Holden Beach area for the price. The fish sandwich (whiting) was a decent size filet and tasty, and is a different type than the filet served as a meal (which was dry and rubbery and had skin on the bottom). The scallops and clams are so sweet, and the shrimp are small but nicely breaded and delicious. The oysters are also really good. Fries and slaw are just meh. Time your order carefully, however, because it is a small operation, and they are usually swamped and typically running behind. We called at 5:10 and were told a 40 minute wait; arrived 50 mins later and had a 10 minute wait while they packed it up hot out of the fryer. Was totally worth the wait, you just have to have the proper mindset because it has always been this way. Weâve always had friendly service. I would not want to eat in here as itâs a trailer with just a covered area outside and the wait would be wayyy too long. Remember: their shrimp burger is just fried shrimp on a burger roll; itâs not like a Provision Co. shrimp burger.

Serving steak, seafood, pasta, burgers and more, the Main Street Grill has something for everyone. A must-try for both morning and evening dining in Holden Beach!
Return trip this year and was good. Interior of restaurant has received badly needed upgrade with flooring and interior since our last visit. Service was good. Food came out in a reasonable time and hot. Liked the grilled shrimp, crab cakes, and spaghetti.

We were told by a friend to visit this restaurant and Iâm so glad we did. It has a very laid back feel with indoor and outdoor seating. Right across the street from the ocean with amazing views. We were seated quickly and had a friendly server. They have a really good drink menu if your into that. Reasonable prices for seafood. They have a menu with something for everyone, including kids. We had the house speciality, the seafood Mac and cheese and holy moly it was delish. We also ordered the fish sandwich and it was really tasty tilapia coated in almonds. Our appetizer was chips and salsa and the chips were my favorite part of the meal!!! You must get them. They reminded me of fry bread and were incredibly. The salsa was homemade and was so flavorful. I highly recommend it. We did wait quite a while for our food, but the place was busy, so it was expected. Luckily the view kept us entertained. Overall this is a place we would highly recommend and go back to on every visit here to Ocean Isle.

We are a locally owned and operated restaurant. We pride ourselves on our food quality. We serve the freshest fish anywhere around. We know this because we catch the fish ourselves. If we don't have it, it's not biting! We have 7 big screen TV's around th
Wing and Fish can be crouded, but worth the wait. Better yet, get there early and do 1/2 price appetizers on weeknights. We often will do a bottle of wine and one or sometimes two appetizers as our dinner. The prices are reasonable and the food is good.

The perfect joint for the true taste of North Carolina coastal fishing villages and the corresponding seafood. Shrimpburgers are amazing and the grouper recipe is the best. What's even better it's open air dining if it's not too cold and no mosquitos.... Downhome friendly service and just fun. Never a disappointment.

I found this place on Yelp after an appointment at the nearby Brunswick Community College. It seems to be a nice friendly family-run joint and community hangout. I just had a soup and half-sandwich, nothing fancy, and it was very reasonable. Although it was mid-afternoon and past lunchtime, some locals were hanging around chatting. Seems like a nice neighborhood joint with regulars.

The Purple Onion Cafe opened on Main Street in Shallotte in 2004. Since then they have become a community favorite serving locals & visitors breakfast and lunch with a delicious menu of pastries, traditional breakfast items, burgers, sandwiches, soups, sa
This place is one of the best place in the area, we drive from Sunset Beach to go there, we actually ate breakfast there 3 days in a row this week....Portions are plentiful, always served at the right temperature, all the waitress/waiters are fabulous...This place is always hopping the earlier you get there the better, but no matter how busy they are everything is served promptly and they don't rush you. Priced accordingly, would highly recommend

This place has great options. Always fun to see specials, too. Good quality and homemade always. Friendly owners who are dedicated to what they're doing. Usually stop by for take-out and try to get different stuff every time. Nothing like this deli in the area. Prices are a little high. Feeding a crew, get 4 sandwiches and drinks to go and expect a 35-40 total plus tip, but way better than subway and not your average selection. Last time, I got the BBQ pork sandwich to go. Was 10.95. Seemed a little high for a small hamburger bun, maybe 4 oz of pork and a small bag of chips and pickle. Had to supplement with a small side of fruit. That and a sweet tea to go and it was 16 bucks to feed one person. Makes this place a treat as it's great but can't always get down paying that price for lunch. Still, always enjoy the selection and offerings. These people care.

In 1978, C.W Hughes, Jr., who owned a paving company, and his wife Allison, a retired nurse, bought a small grill, motel and marina previously called Gregory's. It was located at the mouth of the Shallotte River and the Intracoastal Waterway. The grill ha
The view is so good itâs distracting! But it also helps you relax and sip your wine just a bit slower. The food was excellent with large portions. Weâll probably try to split a meal next time. She had shrimp and scallops; I had flounder and shrimp grilled and might try blackened next time for a little more jolt. The sides were very good as were the hush puppies. Excellent meal and excellent service. Thank you so much for coming and for your excellent comments on the food, service and view. We hope that you will come again. Gratefully, Inlet View
