We stopped for an early dinner and 3 of us had the shrimp & grits. They were some of the best I have ever had. Very flavorful and with an abundance of shrimp.

We decided to head out for breakfast this morning and ended up at Sarah's. Good variety of choices, outdoor covered seating, and friendly southern service. I had the breakfast burrito with homestyle potatoes..... great flavors and loved the fresh made salsa.....everyone was pleased with their food. Nice change from breakfast at home.

After reading reviews, we figured we'd give it a try. So glad we did!Went on July 5th for dinner, arrived about 5:30. Dining room, although not overly decorated, only had a few tables occupied. Fast forward 15 minutes, and the room starts filling up. Our initial server was very pleasant and informative. She recited the night's fish special. I opted for the vegan tomato basil soup (wonderful - not salty at all!) and the avocado shrimp salad I read reviews about (very good). Husband ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which he enjoyed. I tasted the red sauce in his dish and again, noticed that it was not heavy on salt at all - a good thing. His entree came with a salad, which was very fresh. Our server changed after we received our drinks; we noticed that several servers were tending to the full dining room at this point. There was a party of 3 who arrived not long after we did, however, about 30 minutes later, they requested their check. At that point, our initial server (owner?) arrived at their table and was attempting to make amends. Not sure what the issue or outcome was, however, the service issues which I read about in other reviews were exhibited during our visit which still need to be worked on.Overall, we'd definitely go back to the Causeway Gourmet. Thanks for a wonderful meal.

What a wonderful evening. Drove from wilmington to meet Cousins for dinner. Atmosphere was very friendly. All four of us order different types of food. Prime Rib, Steak,Salmon and Chicken. Everyoneâs dinner was cooked to perfection! The house salad is just amazing. Most importantly our server Andrew F. was spectacular! Prompt, professional and friendly service! What a great night!

For $19.95 I received 4 grilled scallops and a 4 oz grilled black bass, french fries, cole slaw, 3 hush puppies. Fresh tasty seafood but they can surely increase the seafood on the plate. Without the french fries, cole slaw, and hush puppies it was more like eating an appetizer. Food was great but price should have been $11.95 and the service was excellent.

Casual Restaurant Serving Calabash Style Seafood, Southern Style Meat & Vegetables, Sandwiches & Salads
A long time ago we made it a point to make a regular visit to the couple of waterside seafood restaurants in Calabash. Now it's so commercialized there that the true Calabash recipes have gotten lost - except at Gravy Southern Eatery. Enormous portions, perfectly cooked, and true southern sides. Good Calabash seafood is lightly breaded and not greasy - just like Gravy. But be prepared to wait to get a table. It's the most popular price around. Don't miss it. Oh and we're told the peach cobbler is crazy good....

Casual Upscale Dining
We were a party of 5. We showed up and asked to be seated. The obnoxious host told us we could not sit outside. There was a large table available outside and we asked for it. She replied it was for 6 people only, not 5. We were finally given a table inside in the corner and an extra chair set up. The waiter was fabulous, the scallops phenomenal, but the hostess ruined the entire experience.Sorry if you donât understand our seating policy, we have limited seating and only 2 tables that can handle a party of eight. So we will seat a party of 5 on a 4 Top withAnd extra chair if you donât agree with our policy that is your right, hate to see you goBut thatâs your decision.Rich DobkinOwnerFibber McGeeâs Irish Pub

In 1978, C.W Hughes, Jr., who owned a paving company, and his wife Allison, a retired nurse, bought a small grill, motel and marina previously called Gregory's. It was located at the mouth of the Shallotte River and the Intracoastal Waterway. The grill ha
The view is so good itâs distracting! But it also helps you relax and sip your wine just a bit slower. The food was excellent with large portions. Weâll probably try to split a meal next time. She had shrimp and scallops; I had flounder and shrimp grilled and might try blackened next time for a little more jolt. The sides were very good as were the hush puppies. Excellent meal and excellent service. Thank you so much for coming and for your excellent comments on the food, service and view. We hope that you will come again. Gratefully, Inlet View
