Diners are an iconic slice of Americana. The comfort food cooked up at Plantation Diner is as traditional as it gets. Big portions of your favorite fixings are served by the friendly wait staff all day long. The only thing you'll like more than the food a
Th Plantation Diner is located on the endcap of a strip mall near the center of Plantation. It is not the freestanding dining car model like we find in New Jersey, but open the front door and you feel like you just travelled north. The hostess seemed to know many of the customers. The waitresses were working hard and the cooks made sure customers did not have to wait long. We enjoyed a typical diner breakfast except they combined New York bagels with grits and they actually tasted pretty good together. This is a busy place and if you have a favorite table you might have to wait a minute or two. This diner just serves breakfast and lunch, but there is a bar. Prices are average.

In order to be fair to this restaurant, the food was good, but the place was absolutely packed, mostly with women! As Hugh Jackman was appearing across the street at the BB&T center and we were not the only people that decided to have dinner there prior to the show as it is literally a five minute drive! It is very hard to park here, every space was taken when we got here at 5 PM on a Saturday night. You can park across the street, albeit it is in a tow-away zone but there really is no option. Our server was very nice but completely rushed off her feet and the noise level in the restaurant made it impossible to have a conversation without shouting. I am sure it is not always this way but it was on this particular night. I had the jerk chicken pasta and a glass of wine and it was very good. Dinner took almost two hours for 6 of us due to the place being packed. I had to get my own water refills more than once as it was just impossible to track our poor waitress down. This restaurant is on the outskirts of Sawgrass mills mall, not inside the mall which makes it a good location for dinner prior to any show at the BBT center. They do take Open Table reservations!

I can't imagine a better place for a nice Sunday brunch. The menu is comprehensive with great choices. The food quality and portion size are outstanding and service was as prompt as possible given the seemingly perpetual line outside the front door on a Sunday morning. However by 12:30 things began to clear up.

We usually call ahead and place the order at the Davie location. They are ready upon arrival, and simply go to the register to pay. You never know if there will be a line or not, but even so, it is worth the wait. The hoagies are fresh, made to order, and delicious! We are never disappointed. Do not miss if you are in the area of one of their locations.

Took my in-laws to this restaurant, they nearly had a heart attack at the prices, this is not a breakfast diner, but a restaurant, so no $5.99 specials. However, when I told them I was paying they relaxed and both thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast as did my wife and myself. In fact, the food, staff and atmosphere was very unAmerican diner-like and really a great dining experience, relax and nne of the usual rush.

A world of food awaits at Grand Lux Cafe featuring internationally inspired cuisine.Located next to the new wing of the Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass.
This restaurant always has good food, no matter which one you go to. I usually go to the one in Boca Town Center but was in the neighborhood here so went for lunch. I've never ordered anything I don't like. All the lunch specials are good. Unfortunately the service is slow, but that won't stop me from coming back.We are so sorry for the service that you received from us. We would have felt the same way as you did about this visit. Our service should have been much better and all of this could have been avoided if our team was more attentive. Please know that we will address this with our staff and hope you can give us another chance! Thank you for your feedback.

We ate in a Bonefish Grill recently in Plantation, Florida. It is the first time I've eaten in a Bonefish Grill. My compliments to the chef in that location, because he did a fantastic job. I've eaten in other seafood chains but this was some of the best I've had. I ordered a pecan-crusted rainbow trout with artichoke hearts, fresh basil and lemon butter, and it may be the best rainbow trout I've ever had. Hubby had Ahi Tuna Steak with a lobster tail on the side and enjoyed it very much. The restaurant was inviting, the service was excellent (thank you to our server, Matt!), the wine and desserts were great! I enjoyed my dinner experience there very much, and would definitely visit again.

Went to Mustard Seed Bistro for lunch with two friends. One friend had been there before and recommended it, the other friend and I had never been there. All of us ordered the soup and 1/2 sandwich combination. Pretty simple, right? Wrong. We waited more than 75 minutes for our food. Our waitress was very apologetic, saying âthere were problems in the kitchen.â When our French Onion soup came out, all of us thought it tasted very sour and sent it back. Our sandwiches finally came out. All were below our expectations. My friend who had recommended this place was quite embarrassed. Finally the owner came and spoke to us. Turns out there were AC problems in the kitchen and the chef was on the phone trying to get the AC fixed and some tickets were âpushed to the sideâ and ours was one of them. What did the owner do to make it up to us? Gave us each a cupcake. Two hours later, I got in my car, knowing I didnât feel a need to ever go back.

I went to J Alexander's back to back nights during a business trip because of the delicious food. I had Emerald Coast Shrimp and the Steak 'N' Fries the first night and then Mr. Jack's Crispy Chicken and the Slow Roasted Prime Rib (Extra Cut) on the second night. I also ordered wine the second night and realized that the choices were extensive and reasonably priced! J Alexander's is truly enjoyable dinner destination!
