Our daughter picked this place for lunch as she lives in Monroe. Good for her but not so much for us. I guess because we are not beer drinkers. But we were there for lunch and none of us had beer although there was a huge selection. Daughter, her husband and two kids had soft drinks at $2.00 and $3.00 each. Sandwiches were on the high priced end. Out tab for the six of us was $90. plus. Food was decent enough however onion rings were overcooked. I had the hummus plate with warm peta and good hummus.

Continuing the alliteration trend, food fabulous. In a town of chain restaurants, this place stands out although hard to find even with GPS. They are located in a corner of the shopping center. We arrived around 12:30 and had a nice lunch for two for $30. My salad with deluxe grilled chicken was very fresh and generous in size. I was hungry and it was good. My friend enjoyed the Chop Chop sandwich. They feature some local sodas. Service was good, but not great. The interior is unusual with a large bar area around the kitchen. Would return!

Our first visit to this restaurant. We stopped in for breakfast. I had an omelette. It was quite good, but must have been cooked in margarine. I assume that because it definitely wasnât butter. It came with potatoes and toast. Itâs kind of weird that you order at a counter when you come in and then have a seat and they bring your food to you

I live in gold Bar and never go here because of the slow, if non-existent "service". I never got to try the food because 25 minutes is too long to wait for the female server to take my order when there are only 2 tables occupied in the entire restaurant. When I complained as I was leaving, the friend she was lounging around chatting with at the front said to me with a sneer "What do you think this is? McDonalds?"

We went here really not knowing what to expect. Was not disappointed. The menu was extensive and the prices were fair. There is a bar on one side and restaurant on the other. I had the chicken burrito and it was great tasting and plentiful. Looking around at other meals on tables around us looked as appetizing as mine. Would go back in a heartbeat if I was staying here longer.

This is an amazing place. The chef/owner believes in FRESH. Each meal is prepared from scratch to order. With a surprising variety to choose from for a smaller establishment You almost can't go wrong regardless of your tastes. While I am not a beer person, other of my friends praise the brewery just as highly as the food.

So my family and I decided to come to this little cafe from hiking. It had relatively good reviews, so we decided why not. The diner is a strange combination of Vietnamese and American dishes. When I went there, there were only 4 people working in the restaurant (which kinda makes sense since it was small): two working the front, two in the kitchen. The (I presume) owner of the restaurant was a charming Vietnamese lady, who was very friendly. The booths in the restaurant had rather uncomfortable seating and backs. We ordered 2 orders of steamed pot stickers and 3 Mi Quang Pho. After about 10-15 minutes, we finally got out pot stickers. Somehow in the kitchen, they misread the order ticket and thought we ordered fried pot stickers, despite the cafe not being very busy at the time. After realizing the order was wrong, the other lady working the front decided to buy it for her "lunch", which I found a little odd. After another 20-30 minutes, the Pho came. The Mi Quang Pho is an abnormal pho to say the least. It doesn't contain bean sprouts, usual herbs found in pho, and onions. It mostly contains different types of meat (mostly overcooked meat), noodles that are flatter and wider than they should be and are clumped together. Altogether it was extremely salty.Despite our telling the owner that we were in a rush, the food still took almost 40 minutes to come out.

Moving from TX earlier this year left us with some cuisine gaps, both Mexican and BBQ. I am happy to say, that within a few months we were able to find more than satisfactory replacements for both. Old School BBQ completely fits the bill in the TX BBQ department. We have brought visiting friends and family from TX here, and they too agree, Old School BBQ is "just like home". I can easily recommend the brisket, pulled pork, coleslaw, cornbread, hot links...everything I have tried to this point has been great! Also, as is now a theme for me, they have plenty of GLUTEN FREE options (all sauces included).
