There was an amazing young man working as host. That's the only reason they got an average score. The portion sizes were good, although the margarita chicken says it is garnished with tortilla strips mine didn't. I was seated in the bar area and my waitress was also the bartender. My service was sorely lacking, I had to sit nearly 10 minutes just to get to-go containers. I have had fresher salads but it was a good salad. Perhaps with better staffing things might have been better.
Good food, great price and the deserts are awesome. If you want a quick lunch or dinner with a good variety, this Pizza Inn is one of the best. Great for taking the kids. Very spacious and some games to play.

This is a nice sports bar/restaurant. We ordered drinks and my first disappointment was they had no Bloody Mary mix. Very surprised that on a weekend that they were out. My wife ordered grilled cheese stuffed with pulled pork and macaroni and cheese and I ordered a variety of their chicken wings(hot fire hydrant, mango habanero, and lemon pepper). The grilled cheese had good flavor but the pulled pork was too smoky for our taste. My wings were cooked great but the flavors were very weak and the hot wings were not that spicy. The onion strings were thin, crispy and very tasty! We did like seeing the place was pet friendly. A few adjustments and the food could be great. We would give this place another chance.
Chicken Express is, without a doubt, my favorite fried chicken restaurant. I have eaten at a number of their locations and even though all are pretty good, there are a few that stand out above the others. My favorite, hands down, is in Carthage, TX. I don't know what they do that other locations aren't doing, but they stand alone. A few others are close, but not quite as good and then other locations are just OK.Sulphur Springs would be one of those top 10 locations. The food was quickly prepared, hot and fresh tasting. The service was friendly and quick. We ate there for a late lunch on a Saturday (2-3 pm?) and the dining room needed a good cleaning. The floor was dirty and several tables were in need of a good deep clean. By this time of day, I would expect the dining room to be clean and ready for the evening crowd...?Overall, a pleasant and quick / filling meal for a decent price. Rating would have been a 5 if the place were a bit cleaner.

Our server was great. She was very friendly and helpful. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich with french fries. He said it was very good. My daughter ordered chicken strips with mashed potatoes and really enjoyed her meal. I ordered grilled chicken with steamed broccoli, sweet potato casserole and a trip to the salad bar. The chicken was a little dry but the sweet potato casserole was so good. Salad bar is well stocked and has a good variety of options. Overall, we really liked it.

We stopped for lunch and wanted something light. Plain and Fancy did not disappoint. Great sandwiches and a beautiful salad. Very fresh!

Ate at their new location with some local friends while fishing at Lake Fork. Down home friendly atmosphere and great service. Had the 1/2 rack pork ribs and a brisket taco. The ribs were awesome and a 1/2 rack was more than enough...had some left over for lunch the next day. Overall a pretty decent BBQ spot worth a try.

We stopped by for a quick dinner on a Saturday night. It wasn't too busy. My wife and I split a burger and had an won-ton wrapped shrimp appetizer. Both were very good. Waitress was spotty on service but was very friendly and apologetic. We would go back.

We stopped in on our road trip because we love bbq's. The reviews looked relatively good except recent ones. The place was clean and only one couple. No real atmosphere but some license plates from lots of states. When we ordered a man (owner?) said this young lady would help us. Unfortunately, he kept butting in and each time the order, the girl, and ourselves got confused. Then he backed off and we got our order. The 3 piece sampler had sausage which lacked flavor and could have come from a local supermarket, the turkey was the same, and the chopped brisket was o.k. They only had two sauces which always make the finishing touches good. Even the bread was two slices of white bread. Not creative or really worth the visit. Sorry

Small place near town square only open M-F 6am to 2pm. Comfort food for breakfast and lunch.
This is a little jewel devoted to great breakfasts and lunches. Itâs worth a diversion from I-30 if youâre passing through during their operating hours. I enjoyed a nicely sized portion of house-made grape chicken salad served on a bed of spinach. It was flavored perfectly with a tiny touch of cayenne which I found delicious. The cottage cheese portion was too big, I should have substituted green beans. My husband was able to get his chicken grilled and I helped him eat his green beans and guacamole. Iâm a bit of a guacamole nazi, so I was pleased to discover the guacamole was excellent. The WiFi worked well and made this a great place to wait for our Tesla to charge. The lovely Main Street Mall steps away gives diners a terrific way to stretch their legs before setting off again. They have a new menu for 2019. See my pictures of the new menu.Thank you so much! Look forward to your return!
