Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to the Corner Restaurant--the waitress couldn't have been more hospitable and welcoming as well as helpful and friendly. My Chicken Salad Wrap was yummy and went perfectly with my Diet Pepsi--so happy when a restaurant "pours" Pepsi instead of Coke! My friends enjoyed their selections as well--my husband's "George" sandwich was delicious and so tasty that he ate the whole thing--a rare thing for him. I was surprised when we learned that the restaurant doesn't accept credit cards and we had to rustle up enough cash to cover the bill. There is an ATM machine on the premises just in case one doesn't carry cash!

First time here. The place is well kept/pretty, service great, view fantastic. Was an afternoon get-together, so chose a burger, l-t, mushrooms which were delicious, fries, slaw. Didn't order an alcoholic beverage as was driving. Disappointed in the dessert menu. May still try again as would luv to see how the stuffed shrimp is. Till then, this is just a burger rating, but worth the trip for that.

Family business open for over 40 years. Newly renovated. Specializing in Seafood, Steaks, and Ribs. Courteous and Friendly staff. Catering for small to large parties available upon request. Your home away from home.
There are several diners in the area but somehow we had never been here until a few months ago. Since discovering it, we have been five times and each visit has been great. The servers are friendly, kind, fun and efficient and everything we've ordered has been so good - scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon, corned beef hash with eggs over easy - all excellent. The home fries are delicious - a combination of tender and crispy with, thankfully, only a whisper of paprika. The eggs are perfectly cooked, the pancakes on the large side and also perfectly cooked. Sausages are crisp on the outside, tender on the inside and thoroughly cooked; a side of bacon is generous and yet again, perfectly cooked. The coffee is excellent. Water comes cold, with ice, and syrup is on the table in a good-sized squeeze bottle, not a weensy little packet. Prices are more than reasonable and one leaves happy from having had such a very nice experience. The restrooms are well maintained and surfaces and the floor very clean. We have never been for lunch but if the kitchen does the same great job on lunch choices as it does with breakfast choices it's got to be good.

We have been at Parker many times while in Stratford. This was out first visit to the new Shelton location which is just up the street. The bar is now huge with numerous TV's. Seems like they are looking to a Sports Bar atmosphere which is good and bad. My wife and I normally had dinner at the bar. Not sure we would want to do that on a weekend night at the new bar. The overall design is a bit cold and industrial looking. Service is still very good and we enjoyed the food. Seems like the bar could be very loud when busy on the weekend. We visited on a Monday night.

Very disappointed today .. new menu first we tried fried oysters which were very good not greasy and crunchy that was great .. but the fish tacos were soggy and not batter fried thatâs ok but the fish was very chewy like a dried cod revived had no idea what it was could have been frozen .. the topping was shedded cabbage with corn but didnât see any corn and it was sparse.. really wanted to like it but sorry Now that great today ...

We found the Sitting Duck by mistake while traveling to Maine. We sat in the bar on a Sunday afternoon. This is a great place to view football or any sports. Good beer on tap and great appetizers. Unfortunately we only had coffee and salads. This is a great Pub to visit.

Been here before but tonights visit will be are last. The only bright spot of our evening was very good service from our waitress Tanya. Sent two of four entrees back, first was soupy mac and cheese second was a extremely dry chicken cutlet sandwich. The other two entrees were both burgers that looked like inflated sliders not burgers. We all noticed other dishes being sent back to the kitchen from other tables not a good sign.

Party of four thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal at Riverview Bistro. Our reservation was for 7pm and we enjoyed the view and sunset from the outdoor dining area. Among us we shared bruschetta, oysters, seafood chowder and lobster rolls - everything was delicious and the lobster rolls were among the best we have ever tasted. Service was swift, efficient and very pleasant. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience, highly recommend.
