This was a late brunch -early dinner with friends after visiting Mystic Seaport Museum. Strongly recommend this place as a crown to your Mystic Seaport visit. Nice authentic atmosphere, great wine selections. Excellent recommendations by the crew for wine and entries selection and matching

Open only a few weeks and now Whitecrest is by far the best restaurant in the area. The creative menu has locally sourced ingredients cooked to perfection. My wife and I stopped in during an overnight stay in Mystic. I chose this restaurant based on the TripAdvisor reviews. This place is centrally located in downtown Mystic. It was a busy Saturday night, so it took about 30 minutes to get a table. The restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated. The manager was great. He was personable and professional. The server (Keely?) was very friendly, knew the menu, and was very efficient with her service. We ordered the clam chowder, fish n chips, and the Black fish special. All the food was tasty, but the chowder was one of the best I ever had (and I grew up in Massachusetts and vacation every year in Maine). The chowder was thick and well seasoned. I will return to the Mariner the next time Iâm in the area.We're so glad you enjoyed everything at The Mariner. We're pretty proud of our clam chowder here. Hope to see you again very soon!

This restaurant/bar is conveniently located just a few minutes from US Route 1 in Stonington, CT. Ample parking.Wonderful menu every night. Saturday night there is always a prime rib going and the menu ranges from that, to local fish and many interesting dishes. This place is minutes from the Stonington, CT docks where fisherman bring the daily catch of scallops and flounder and other fish right fresh out of the sea. The bar is alwaysactive and well stocked and the place is just a friendly venue!

this was such a suprise that we could not get over it even after we left it. We both had two different kinds of fish dinners which with the sides were more than we could eat. The freshness was amazing and the quality was also. We will be going back here as the service was just so nice.We do not drink but they did have a full bar and parking was no problem. We were seated quickly and we did have a glass of wine each which was really nice. My wife had a bread pudding that she said was the best she had ever had. no dessert for me. too full.A really nice place to go for dinner and I would make a special drive to go here. We are about twenty five miles away. worth it.note: add one more dot to make it six on the register if possible.

Worth the pilgrimage. Breakwater sits out on a pier and looks out to the harbor breakwater and Fishers Island. The seafood was fresh. Service friendly. We sat inside for a late lunch because it was little windy and cool out on the porch. The view was still quentissentially New England

Lovely view,had been there before,however last week I ordered the French Onion soup. Had to differentiate between ,bowl,cup, crock! Ok,when it arrived,looked ok, but Wham there was something odd! Waitress told me they add saffron,paprika and oregano! I could not eat it! She was kind enough to remove it from the bill,but I then ordered the New England clam chowder ,which was blah..Had to stop somewhere for Pizza in the way back

I am always impressed by the quality and variety of foods on the menu as well as the old standards. Noahâs could have devolved into a burger joint but they gave great items including Korean Pancakes and veggie bowls. If you do want a burger you wonât be disappointed.
