I have been patronizing this Larrys Subs location since it opened. When they changed ownership a couple of years ago, this place really went downhill. The service and quality is just not the same. Despite this downturn, I keep trying for improvement. I have complained and reported several times about this Larrys no longer providing a pickle spear which was automatic with the prior owner. When I asked about this, I was told "now you have to ask for a pickle, the reason is because they are so expensive and most people don't want them". OK, I have asked several times and never get the pickle spear. Usually I get our order to go so discover the valued spear is not there when I get home. Last week, I got home and once again no pickle spear. I called and talked to the manager and she apologized. Today, I ordered two 12 inch subs and requested pickle spears. I decided to check when the boy brought my to go order to me. I asked him if he put pickle spears in the bag??? His response was "no" and then he added they are out of pickle spears. When I protested and gave a "stink eye" look, he said "let me go see". Low and behold, he came back with two pickle spears. This is absolutely ridiculous. Who ever went to a NY deli and did not get a pickle spear automatic. The funny thing is this has become a topic of conversation with several in our town. I understand making people ask for their pickle but when they do ask and still don't get one over and over again, that is just wrong. If you do not want to give pickles then just say it and be done with it. Don't play games with people. I wish the old owner was back because he ran it like a fine oiled machine. To rub salt in the wound, I asked for banana peppers on my sub and when I got home...zero banana peppers. They seldom get the order correct!

Okay, so I'm an admitted food snob, and this is not the kind of place I would go on my own. I go because my boyfriend loves these kinds of places - and if you do too, then Missy's will not disappoint. The entrees are good enough and there's enough choices. The all you can eat veggies are all pretty standard, and I'm pretty sure out of a can (sorry, guys). The desserts are multiple and cut in small quantities. The staff is VERY nice. The place is clean and easy to find in the shopping center next to the movie theater. We are VERY glad there is a place like this in town - but if you're looking for gourmet, 24 hour brined heirloom organic free range chicken, you're in the wrong place.

Pauly's Cafe, a cozy and intimate restaurant featuring pasta, seafood, steaks, mouthwatering desserts and much more. Beer and wine served. Outdoor seating available or enjoy a beverage at our Tiki Shack!
Tried Paulyâs cafe for a quick lunch break from our road trip. Could use some sprucing but, maybe they like the small town charm! We ordered soup and salad with tasty garlic bread. Soup was a gumbo which was a good size portion and very tasty. Good customer service!

Located on the waterfront in downtown. Probably would have been more enjoyable in different circumstances. It was a bit drizzly, and the waterfront area is (understandably) torn up by construction improvements. Our group of four had sandwiches and all were okay, with the shrimp po boy being the favorite.Prices were fair. You order, and pay, at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. Service was good, as the server approached our table several times to inquire, to refill our tea, etc.On balance I might return, but wouldn't go out of my way to return.

This place is worth the stop. The service was great even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. Iâm really surprised they werenât busy in a Friday afternoon. You get what you pay for. Our burgers were massive and the creativity for some of the burgers was impressive. We will definitely be back to try something new on the menu. The decor of this place was really cute as well

Stopped in by chance since place we were going to was closed. Wife had Rueben and I had Western Omelet. Both were perfect. Choice of eating inside, on patio or outside on deck. Patio was quiet, parking ample, food great.

Went in on Halloween hoping to see a lively place with folks having fun. It was a bit subdued, but not a big deal. The draft beer selection is marginal at best with the majority of the taps dedicated to nasty American lite beers. The one rotating tap was some pumpkin flavored thing I was not about to try. Nice selection of smaller craft bottles though. The food was ok. My pot roast plate was warm at best. My bud's shepherd pie was huge, looked pretty good, but too was warmish not hot. I would likely not go back again.

We have been serving fresh, local seafood since 1996. We are located at the West Marina in Historic, downtown St. Marys, GA. Please join us for a fabulous meal.
Originally I was going to go somewhere else in St. Marys, until Lang's was suggested. I'm glad I took the advice. The setting downtown St Marys on the water is beautiful. Went for lunch with friends. My first impression was that the restaurant was very clean. I had a seafood platter with fried shrimp, fried oysters, and fried scallops. Also okra on the side and excellent collard greens. The scallops in particular were excellent, and the serving was generous. The breading was especially nice as it wasn't too thick. We talked about dessert but were too full. A friend of mine had the flounder and she raved about it. Recommended.

The service was good on the night we were there. It was a slow night so we got served quickly. The seafood was just average and I would rate the sides below average. Prices were good for what we got.
