Legendary Food, Legendary Service
As far as chain, everyday "steakhouses" go, this Texas Roadhouse is among the better ones, as evidenced by the dinner crowds. Yeah, it's a touristy town but there sure were a lot of locals. The best things on the menu are the steaks and ribs. The sides seem to be really good or not so good, depending on the choices. But, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. I see some complaints about service, but after two dinner visits under crowded conditions, I'd say our servers did pretty well. On different nights I had sirloin and New York steaks. Both were cooked the way I ordered and were very good (not Ruth's Chris good, of course), especially for someone that doesn't get much enjoyment from pricier steaks. I poached some of my wife's ribs, so I'll vouch for them, too. I liked the baked potato but disliked the burnt tasting sauted mushrooms. The corn and broccoli were good as well. It's a busy, noisy place, so a quiet, romantic dinner is probably not on the menu.

Haven't reviewed for over 2 years and have reviewed this and other Cracker Barrels around the country and never really had a complaint until my last visit. Saw they were advertising fried chicken on the bone and have been getting spotty results from Popeyes and KFC recently so we (wife and myself) decided to try it. Both of us had fried apples as a side (it is always delicious) and I had corn and wife had green beans. They were good but the time from placing our order to it being placed in front of us was less than 5 minutes. That would be a plus for a dish-up item but chicken takes from 15 minutes in a pressure cooker of grease to 30 minutes in a cast iron frying pan. The chicken was hammered like it had been cooked 3 different times and was shriveled and dry. The worst fried chicken we've had in several years. This was a terrible mistake. I will probably go back again but for meat loaf or chicken fried steak or other dishes that their cooks are competent to prepare.

We had the teriyaki chicken pasta and the shrimp pasta. Both were healthy portions nicely presented in large bowls. They offer flavored water if you don't wish to purchase any processed drinks. The servers are pleasant and the atmosphere has a bit of a cafeteria feel but that's OK; problem is with all of the glass and hard surfaces, the noise levels are high, making for strined conversation. Still, worth a revisit.

We stayed at Fairfield Inn accross the street and based on reviews walked and were promptly seated. The waitress Shannon was very gracious and efficient and took good care of us. We had fried chicken, and the red snapper and all enjoyed our meal. They do serve liquor here and prices were reasonable for drink and food. The staff were everpresent and kept the tables cleaned and reset. If you are in St George do try it.

By far the best breakfast restaurant in St. George! Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Be warned that the Bear Paw is quaint and does not have a large seating area so be prepared for a possible wait. Itâs worth it! Getting there early on weekends helps. Mostly frequented by locals, it misses the longer lines usually encountered at the off ramp restaurants. Itâs food selection is diverse and weâve never been disappointed. I highly recommend this friendly local favorite!

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, and by the large crowd appears to be quite popular. Everyone in our party seemed very happy with their selections. My cheese steak sandwich came on a tasty soft pretzel type roll which I enjoyed. The interior of the restaurant was quite unique and presented a comfortable ambience. The best part was our delightful waitress Justice, fast, efficient and a great personality. I'd recommend this restaurant.

The Egg & I St George, Utah breakfast restaurant offers gourmet coffee, 100% pure-squeezed orange juice and a variety of menu choices you will enjoy time and time again.
Pretty simple fare, and highly priced. Coffee is more than coffee shops. Down thirty bucks for breakfast I could have made at home for five bucks or less. No waitress or cashier as they were all late getting to work. Late at a breakfast cafe! We wonât be going back. I hate to say an egg McMuffin would have outshone the plates we received.

The view is spectacular with the dining room high on a bluff overlooking the city of St George. As we dined last night, a big bold orange full moon rose over the city, gracing our dinner with its splendor.Food is excellent, service is professional. Prices are reasonable. I rarely give five stars, but Cliffside earns the accolade.Hello there Jersey-Jack, Thank you very much for your Five Star Review of Cliffside Restaurant! We absolutely love The Painted Pony! Every time weâre in town (which is fairly often since my parents live in the area), we always come here for their well-above-average fine dining experience. The decor is charming, comfortable and a little unusual, but in a good way. And the service, oh my gosh, the service is always top notch! Never ceases to impress us just how attentive, polite, and well-trained the entire staff is: hostess, bus boys, servers - it doesnât matter who, they are all wonderful. And truly, we have never had a bad (or even average meal) - theyâve all been truly great! I really donât think you can go wrong with anything you order, itâs all so good. We had an amazing seasonal heirloom tomatoes salad there last, as well as the mussels and bacon wrapped dates for apps. All mouth-watering good! Itâs an amazing restaurant worth the visit! Your stomach wonât regret it!
