Their buffet is good. All food is reasonably priced. Service is great - a smaller run almost family operation. Their bar is always busy and they have sports on tv in that area but not throughout. It has been our date night spot, Sunday afternoon lunch spot and I donât want to cook tonight spot. Their gift certificates always come in handy and they have occasional meat raffles.

Your typical Northwoods bar & restaurant. Dark bar brighter dining room. Burgers & Fries are great & chicken strips as well. Awesome patty melt. Pizza is just average for us. (But weâre picky about pizza) We were very happy to find Danelle behind the bar. She has always been one of our favorite server/bartenders. We were glad to find her. We will be back!

Are you ready for a family-friendly dining experience where your choices for seafood are just as plentiful as the drink menu for happy hour? If so, bring your appetite to McKenzie Landing in Spooner, WI. This family owned and operated restaurant has been
Beautiful location, great service, good food. Went here with family and we all enjoyed our meals. Good daily specials, small, but nice salad bar. The standard in this area seems to be bar and grill type places, so McKenzie Landing is a welcome change. Will be back - would love to try their fish fry.

I have put off reviewing this local establishment as I thought we may have hit them at a bad time and hence our experience was different from others. We have been here 4 times now, twice for breakfast and twice for dinner. The breakfast experiences are the most recent so will review them. The atmosphere is casual small town which is nice. You order at the counter and food is brought to your table. Small staff so if busy expect a delay. Self-serve coffee so you can keep your cup while waiting, which is nice. My wife andI consider the food average, at best, even though supposedly made with local, fresh ingredients. The first time, I had an omelet, which was nothing special. The filling was most and lacked flavor. The onions were in rings, making it awkward to eat. The second time, I had the hot mamma burrito. Anything but hot and on the small size for a single burrito. The home-made salsa was good but not spicy. Actually was hungry after the burrito, which is unusual. Actually think the sausage and egg burritos at McDonalds are better. My wife was not pleased with her choices either time. The last time she had oat meal, which was good, but the walnuts were old and had an off flavor and she could not finish the portion served. The place is popular with locals but is not a restaurant I would use as a destination.

New Family Restaurant in Spooner, WI. Opened on September 29th 2014. We serve breakfast all day long. Good service, Great Prices, and the Best food in town. You won't be disappointed. From our family, to yours!
food arrives barely warm, not done as asked, food had to be remicrowaved, and food tasted like it was microwaved ...true this was when the previous owners had it, but you rarely see many vehicles there so, not being tourist time, that speakes for itself.

We order from Denelies at least once a month. Their traditional style pizzas are great, as are their specialty pizzas such as the alfredo and the bbq chicken. The noon buffet is a great deal as well.

Nick's Family Restaurant Provides All Occasions Catering, Meeting Room, All Day Breakfast, Roasted Chicken, Real Pizza Burgers, Friday & Saturday Night Buffets And Sunday Morning Brunch Buffet To The Spooner, WI Area.
If you're looking for a good, inexpensive breakfast, go to Nick's. We were greeted by a friendly waitress and brought hot coffee almost immediately. My husband's oatmeal was a generous serving, nice and hot. My over-easy eggs were absolutely perfect. Nice runny yolks, but solid whites. I hadn't had such perfectly prepared eggs in a long time. We did return for dinner the next evening, as we were staying the weekend in Spooner. The food was still good and was served up quite quickly, but the waitress wasn't as warm as the breakfast person. I would have given 4 stars if we had only experienced dinner. The bottom line is that Nick's is a great place to eat if you're in Spooner. You can't go wrong.

Our unique brewpub offers 18 signature taps, craft cocktails, and an American-style menu boasting distinctive flavors of the Northwoods.
We stopped at RMB for lunch while we explored the Fall Art Meander in the Spooner area. While there were tables open, we had a 20 minute wait before we were seated. I believe the server was new as she brought one small bottle of tap water for our table of 5. Table next to us asked if they could get their drinks as they had been waiting and thought she forgot them. We order salads and one meatloaf. After 15 minutes the server told us they were backed up in the kitchen but our order was in the queue. We ordered an appetizer to fend off our hunger. Cesar salad had very little romaine lettuce and an overcooked/dry chicken breast. Roasted beet salad had canned beets that did not appear to be roasted. Saving grace was the meatloaf with corn bread but fries and not mashed potatoes. Would give the place a second chance to see if they can get the wheels in motion when they are busy.Hey there,Spencer Churchill here, Owner and General Manager of Round Man Brewing Co. Just wanted to touch base on a few things regarding your review of our business. First off, last weekend with Art Meander was AWESOME. We were absolutely packed all weekend and couldn't have asked for it any other way. With these busy weekends, we ask our guests to exercise some patience and understanding, we do our absolute best to expedite service and to be as efficient as possible but with over 800 meals sold and well over 1,000 guests that day alone, we do run into some wait times. All is in an effort to provide our staff with the best opportunity to provide you with the best product. In regards to your salads; as General Manager, one of my key roles is assuring guests enjoy their meals and their experience, provided that I would've been made aware of your unhappiness with your Caesar salad, I certainly would've replaced it immediately. Next time, simply ask to speak with myself or another member of our management team and we'll happily have it made to your liking. As for the beet salad, well... this one stings a bit, we work extremely hard to source the freshest and best quality whole beats available. We roast them whole, then peel them, then dice them, it's a process that takes a fair amount of time and leaves everything we touch stained red, but we do it with a smile as it leads to an outstanding product. With absolute confidence, I can guarantee the beets never come out of a can. Finally, I'm glad you enjoyed the meatloaf! It is one of our most popular dishes. Upon your next visit, you're welcome to request mashed potatoes instead of fries! Now that we have our wheels in motion, I hope you choose to visit us again soon! Cheers!

When we are in the area we like to stop for breakfast. It is always good, the selections great, and the service as well. Last week we happened to stop in for their dinner menu.I had the bluegill and it was the best I've tasted in a long while. Other items on the specials board looked good also, especially the all you can eat prime rib. All specials came with a healthy portion of dessert.

Serving up REAL food that is simple & delicious. Relax in our cozy farmhouse setting, enjoy beautiful landscapes & gorgeous sunsets. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian options.
We have eaten here before and loved it so we decided to try the fish fry. While the sides with the meal were fantastic, the portion of fish that I was served was lVery skimpy. The strawberry shortcake was excellent too. I will continue to go there but will go somewhere else for a fish fry.Sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your portion of fish. It's usually a good size portion that many can't even finish. Did you mention this to your server? I know they would have been happy to bring you more. Glad you were happy with everything else.
