We happened upon this place by accident. We had been in Sparta and were looking for a quick breakfast. My husband spotted this place, off the road and behind a bank! He suggested we run in and grab something, as we had a long day ahead of us, traveling here and there. The interior was quaint and charming, country-like. The dining room inside was small...they also offered a larger, outdoor dining area..but, it was a little chilly for that. The prices here were VERY inexpensive. We decided to share a plate. They had something called "The Big Daddy" breakfast which consisted of 3 eggs, 4 slices of toast, hashbrowns and bacon or sausage...we asked our waitress if we could have both bacon and sausage...we got 2 sausage patties and 2 strips of bacon...all for $6.50!!! WHAT A DEAL! The food was great and we were very pleased. I can't imagine how one person could eat that by themselves!? We didn't get to see their lunch/dinner menu. But, as far as breakfast is concerned, i would recommend stopping here if you're ever in the small town of Sparta.

One of our employees went to Kfc to get us some lunch. She came back with my order. I asked for their wedges and got 2 things of their DISCUSTING mashed potatoes. Then, we she brought it back, they put my name as Johhny and my name is Jonathan! I hate my name when it is not correct. The poor lady who went to Kfc felt so bad because they messed up our order. She was willing to go back, but I didn't want to have her waste some of her lunch break time doing that. My mom got two things of mashed potatoes too when she asked for their potato wedges. I would never recommend this Kfc location to you. Have a great rest of your day.
Stopped in after grand opening week.Nice interior, clean and new.Service was good, waitress was friendly and helpful.Menu has interesting items and is unique for this area.I had a signature dish and was a little disappointed it wasnt more flavorful.Wife had a burger, it was about par with other local spots. Not bad, but doesn't stand out from the others. We'll be back, but not in a hurry to get there.
Go to Walmart then head to subway or vise versa. It's located right inside. Good average subway. Fast service and clean.

We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
The place was packed. There were five of us. Service was sllooooowww. Not enough staff for the amount of people on Mother's Day. (Sparta is limited in "sit down" breakfast restaurants). We had to ask for coffee and other items multiple times. One item we didn't get until right before we left because she thought she had already gotten it and was quite surprised when we asked...again. The food was actually tasty so no complaints about that. Average breakfast restaurant.

Sparta TN's Captain D's is located at the corner of Hwy 111, and Hwy 70/Bockman Way. Plenty of parking. Handicap accessible. This D's is clean, comfortable, and had great food, and fast service. It's a great lunch or guick dinner stop. I've eaten there more than 20 times, and always enjoyed the food.

Once we found this cafe e HD to go back. We are her Thursday morning and Friday morning and enjoyed it both times. For was pretty quick to be served to us, coffee s good and hot. I liked their sweet tea. The only downfall is finding it. Def need a sign, a bigger better one. Can't wait to go back the next time we are in town.

We are a home cooking restaurant. Hand patted burgers, homemade veggie soup, all of our BBQ is smoked in house. We have a variety of salads and subs. Daily plate lunch specials all listed on our website.
This little quaint place has been a local favorite for years from the beginning when it was 2nd Act Deli. They still have a few sandwiches even though new owners and the name has changed. Food is still good.

This is a great place to meet friends and to relax. The food and drink taste great and quality is consistent. The Tea Room is a true small town treasure. I would visit as often as I am in the area.

Yanni's has an extensive menu, never had a bad meal and I always order something different. Clean, good atmosphere, as close to upscale as Sparta TN gets!
