This place is run down and very dated. There was one lady working out front. The server wasnt friendly but not rude. Food was just ok, typical bar fare. Slow food coming out of kitchen. Price was reasonable but they dont accept debit or credit cards. The motel looked like termites holding hands. Not going back.

Stopped in on our way to Williamsburg. Wanted something better than fast food and spotted Applebee's. As a familiar chain, we were not disappointed. Food was good and service was exceptional. Nothing to complain about. Food came quickly and servings were substantial. We will stop in again on our way back home.
Once we lost interest in returning to the Italian Delight for sandwiches, we began taking this Subway a regular for our carry out lunch orders. It compares favorably to the dozens of other Subway restaurants we have dined in at other locations. All is freshly prepared , fast, and reasonable priced. The quality is consistently high.
Joe and a Bow is a hybrid coffee shop with a children's boutique. Joe and a Bow offers a salad bar and a sandwich menu.
Its been a year since i visited this quaint cafe. Had a coffee to go. French press. Coffee was no better in quality and taste than McDonald's. Hope the owner purchases better coffee beans before they start to loose trade.

A little change in pace from nearby mcdonalds. Conveniently located at busy intersection. Easy in and out. Would go there again.
We decided to give Badeauxâs a shot for dinner on Saturday night and we sure were glad we did. This was our first visit there and definitely will not be our last. The restaurant was clean and the all of the staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. Our order was taken quickly and our food was served just as quickly. I had the fried alligator and my wife had the crab cakes. We ordered the loaded cheesy fries for an appetizer. Every thing we ordered was delicious.

First visit. Happened to be on Friday when they have their seafood buffet special. Lots of food for the buffet price. Didn't eat that much of the seafood since it was mostly fried and/or didn't look very appealing. Best protein of what I did have was the chicken. Nice salad bar. BBQ pork ribs were dry and way too sweet. A beef dish had tough meat. We had a group of 8 or so and service was fine. This is an institution on SoBo that apparently has a loyal following.

Darby's Tavern is located in the former Estate kitchens which date back to 1790. Fireplaces used to prepare meals for the Bruce Family are prominent in every room. The tin tables and antique floors create the perfect atmosphere for casual all day dining a
At first glance it takes on a historic feel of plantation living, but is far from that in reality! My group met and talked with the warmest people around. The staff are friendly and accommodating. There's a nice selection of menu choices for all age groups. The food is excellent and well prepared. I highly recommend this eatery

Great find. Lovely restaurant with a definite gourmet edge that serves breakfast and lunch. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. The lunch menu has interesting sandwiches and quiches. They also offer burgers and have daily specials. We went with the quiche which came with a choice of one side. We chose pickled beets with goat cheese and pea salad with cashews. Both were delicious. The restaurant has a small wine area and also offers beer. Lots of cute handmade bags and other items are for sale. The desserts and cakes looked yummy! We will definitely be back to try other menu items. Thanks for coming Stephanie!

I recently planned a weekend trip to Clarksville, VA. However, I wanted a nice romantic surprise dinner for my husband. I searched nearby areas and found Bistro 1888. We had reservations for 8pm and were promptly seated upon our arrival. The tables were adorned with a fresh red rose and linen tablecloths. The ambiance was nice and the wait staff was attentive to our needs. The food was amazing. We enjoyed the salmon and shrimp/crabcake entrees. I would highly recommend Bistro 1888 for a quaint romantic dinner.
