New location. Aly's Restaurant features exquisite wine country cuisine. It's elegant ambiance is the perfect setting for couples, small groups, an intimate private event, birthday or wedding dinners, business meetings, wine tastings.
My husband & I, along with another couple had made reservations for dinner at Aly's while visiting wine country. When we arrived on a Thursday evening the place was empty, so initially I was a bit concerned. However, all of that changed with the wonderful service and delicious dinner we got to enjoy!! We had the place to ourselves and had a great time. That evening we had shared the Lobster Mac & Cheese, which was yummy and not the usual heavy, dense variety most serve. I followed that with the best tomato soup I've ever had. Absolutely fantastic! Entrees were the Fish Tacos, Duck, Scallops and Caprese Salad. We were also introduced to the chef. Lovely man and very talented! Very nice dinner & I would highly recommend others who have not tried this place, to make reservations and enjoy!

Great stop for burgers! Chose the slider and salad and it was the perfect amount of food. The salad parts (cucumber, tomatoes, mushrooms) could have been chopping up a little more, but all the ingredients were fresh. The toilet in one of the single-person restrooms didnât flush after my use, but I reported it to the staff and they said they would get on it.

Not really fair to evaluate the restaurant on this particular night as the spill over crowd from the park was ridiculous. Saying that, I think the staff tried really hard to take care of everyone the best they could and kept their sense of customer service alive. The food was not very good though and that wasn't because of the rush, don't order mac & cheese in a pub but my husband wasn't keen on his fish n chips either which should have been a no brainer. Stick to the beer maybe??Iâm sorry to hear you didnât enjoy the food this time around. We usually have people rave about it. We were very busy that day and down a staff member, I hope you can give us another chance next time youâre in town and we can knock it out park for you!

We had great food. The service was excellent and the beer was cold. Great atmosphere. This was our 2nd time here and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend Solvang Brewing for food and for refreshments. We came in late and they were very welcoming.

We had breakfast. The servers had cute outfits. The decorations were clever. The menu descriptions sounded delicious. However, everything tasted very average. The cheese sauce on my crepe good have been cheese whiz. My companion"s specialty sausage had unusual spices (nutmeg?)

We enjoyed pan roasted halibut, bucatini carbona, and an apple crumble -- all excellent. My wife, who has had halibut from San Francisco to San Diego, announced it was the best halibut she ever enjoyed -- done perfectly with subtle sauces. The service was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu offerings. Everything was complimented by an excellent local wine.

This was a bit of nostalgia for me as I was here as a youth. On a Monday morning we were able to walk right into the restaurant although they were pretty busy. Having Abelskivers was truly a part of the nostalgia as I had them when young and my mom bought a pan and made them. I also had some eggs to go with and they were fine. the service was great and the speed by which they served was very quick.

We had a tasty lunch here--sandwiches with fresh green salads on the side. The young man at the register recommended the tuna melt, and he did not lead us astray. It was so tasty, with the tahini dressing. The grilled cheese was less "wow" but still quite good. Service was quick and friendly. Portions were generous. The dining room (food delivered to table after you order at the counter) was pleasant. We would definitely dine here again.

This Restaurant was recommended by a local. Was disappointed. Had reservations were seated promptly, then service turned slow...were there over two and half hours, without desert. One couple came in sat in booth waited to be served and left...maybe was off nite no help...does not account for food was served so overdone wonder if was left under heat lamps...wife had halibut was so dry could not hardly cut it, more like jerky. Brussels sprouts were burned some inedible. my scallops were dark brown over cooked....not waitstaff fault she was over worked. Best was wife gin mixed drink....was sad nite for what we had hoped would be upscale dining. No excuse would suffice, was simply bad nite to eat here.Dear HWH529,Please accept my apologies for what you had to endure during your visit with us. Serving classic American breakfast and lunch in addition to our worldly famous Danish pancakes.
Everything was fabulous! Our server Dominque was the best! Great sense of humor!! Her service was top notch. The food was fantastic. We all ordered the pancake combo. The pancakes are large thin, airy and delicious. Itâs served with butter and an amazing syrup. Eggs were cooked perfectly over medium and nice crisp bacon. Coffee was flavorful and plentiful. I didnât think I was going to eat it all but it was so good I ate every bite and loved every heavenly morsel. Highly recommended for an amazing breakfast.
