Lots of food to select from on the buffet. We went on Saturday night and people were standing in line waiting for a empty table. The fried shrimp was excellent as well as the peel and eat boiled shrimp. Many other hot foods on buffet like baked and fried chicken, chicken alfredo, beef, etc. Vege selection were green beans, lima beans, baked potato, mashed potato. Mac n cheese and corn on the cob for the kids! Salad bar was fresh. Many desserts to choose from. The coconut cake with chocolate drizzle was yummy as well as the pecan pie. Service was good. There were very busy. I will go again!

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
Sure, it's a Denny's - known quality, menu and variety of food found nationwide. But this Denny's actually has a small full bar (and sports TV) with tables attached on one end. The service staff (particularly Jo at lunch hour) is friendly and efficient. They even went off-menu to prepare an excellent Patty Melt (why was this deleted from the regular menu, Denny's?) for my wife. The new Mega Philly Melt that I ordered was a superb and monstrous hoagie roll stuffed with prime rib chunks, shrooms, onions, peppers and a tremendous volume of gooey cheese. By no means a true Philly Cheesesteak, but one outstanding hot sandwich - a fine addition to the always tasty wide menu options we've all known and appreciated. Sneads Ferry has lucked out to get this Denny's with bennies.

My parents live on Topsail Island, and I wanted to take them out to lunch for my Mom's birthday. They wanted to go to Lo-re-lei. I was a bit skeptical, but the place won me over. I had great soup and an awesome sandwich. My mom had a huge salad that looked entirely delicious. Definitely will try again!

Burgers, fries and tater tots all quite fine. While hardly anybody can make a good cheesesteak in the state of NC, they do a passable job of it at Hwy 55. Good meat, freshly grilled and fair mix of grilled veg and cheese to go with. The custard is sub-standard fare. Okay in one of their 30 shake options, but when served in a cup, even with concrete mix-ins, it just isn't that flavorful. And way too expensive - like $4 for a "regular" which is in fact a small serving. I'll be back for the sandwich fare, but will skip the custard dessert option.

I would definitely recommend & return if in the area again.

We visited this hidden gem following a recommendation from a lady at Poplar Grove recommended. Are we glad we did! Firstly this isn't a place where you have to dress up but the seafood is superb. The Mahi was beautifully cooked and with great spices that added to the fish flavour. The broiled prawns were the best I've eaten. All good.
