The space is fantastic, great vibe. The music (Colton Turner, rockabilly) was terrific. The food (pork schnitzel and Greek salad) were tasty. Then why do I title this review âSo Disappointedâ? The service was atrocious. I give a lot of slack to servers, having been one for many years, but last night was so far beyond what anyone could overlook. We were seated and our server promptly came to our table and we ordered our drinks, wine and a soda, and they arrived soon after. We then placed our dinner order. Thatâs the last time we saw our server for at least 45 minutes. After close to an hour, my husband eventually got up from the table and found her to ask for another glass of wine and a couple of glasses of water. My wine glass had sat empty on the table for quite some time The wine was eventually delivered, but no water, which when mentioned the server said she forgot and would bring it. Food was finally brought to our table after an hour of waiting for it, and it was wrong. The server who brought it said âI didnât take your order, itâs not my faultâ. Huh? Our original server came to the table and told us she had written chicken fried steak instead of chicken schnitzel, it was her mistake. I then told her that she was still wrong, it was pork schnitzel. When I originally ordered the dish she repeated it back to me so it wasnât misunderstood at the time. I again reminded her, the third time, about the water. She brought two styrofoam cups of water and told us they had run out of glasses, sorry. My husband's Greek salad was well toward being finished by the time the pork schnitzel arrived. While I was waiting for the correct dish, I took a moment and spoke to a manager to let her know of our experience. She seemed genuinely concerned, but did not follow up with us for the remainder of our stay. After my meal was finally served, we never did see our server again. We had to hunt her down to ask for the check. Such a shame. We've wanted to try this place for years as we live right down the road in Hallettsville and are always on the lookout for good places to eat. Thereâs not a lot of places so Iâm so disappointed to cross Momma's at Sengelmann off the list.

I like these mom and pop establishments in Texas. I think it's good to stop and spend your money here rather than at a chain establishment. We came right after the high school lunch rush. Brisket and sausage was all that was left. I had a brisket sandwich and my wife had sausage. The brisket was very tender and the sausage was flavorful and not at all greasy.

The enchiladas verde was unique, delicious and packed with tender chicken. The catfish was tender and moist. Came back for dinner and split the chicken tenderloin meal. Four gigantic perfectly fried tenderloin. Servers very friendly and attentive.

We stopped at the Oakridge for lunch on our final leg of roadtrip from Florida. We both chose the buffett as we were hungry. At about $11, the food was plentiful, but taste just ok for the four or five meats. Veggies were quite good however.

Ina's kitchen is a family oriented restaurant. We serve comfort foods with a gourmet twist and Food is cooked fresh and from scratch upon ordering. All salads are made with fresh lettuce that is cut daily.
We were so tired and hot rom spending a day at the Round Top Antique Week that we didn't want to get back in the car to drive somewhere. We ended up walking over to Ina's and we were peasantry surprised. I just had a side order of grilled green beans but my friend had a full meal and it was clean, the service was excellent.

I always look forward to eating chicken salad. Today we drove 40 miles to eat an average tasting lunch. The chicken salad had no flavor and the bread without mayonaise. My husband had a hamburger that was only fair. Something is going on. It seemed neglected. The rooms could use a cleaning. In the room facing the front there was dust and grime all over the woodwork and one window had loose long strings of hair swinging from the window sill. I hope someone did not catch their head in the window. It has been great when we've eaten here before. Maybe it's a bad day or there was a different cook.
