Things to do in Schertz
I visit there often as my 85 yr old father in law likes it. The atmosphere is relaxed and semi quite but mostly friendly. We only eat breakfast there and the food is good but nothing to write home about. They keep your coffee and water filled and serve quickly. I like it for breakfast.

We happened upon this place on our last night before heading home. What a great find. The staff was very welcoming, answered every question and brought us the hottest freshest fried fish we have ever had. Enormous portions and we ate until we couldn't eat anymore. I have to say a word about the staff. We were obviously not regulars but we were treated like family. The ladies who served us were absolutely lovely and there were hugs and best wishes for the holidays all around when we left. If I ever find myself back even close to the area I'll be going there for fish and the greeting again some of the nicest people I've met.

This was our first visit, and the food was awful. It could have been just an a bad day, but every thing was bad. Soggy bread on the sandwhich....the brisket had an outputting taste, and overall the place was messy and uninviting. It was literally our worst bbq meal we've had. Hopefully for others it was just a bad day.

We always venture to Sea Island at The Forum for consistently prepared fresh tasting meals, but discovered a new favorite unexpectedly when our son decided to order the angus cheeseburger. Not only was it good, it was undecidedly the best tasting burger my son and I have ever tasted!!Just leave it to Sea Island, they are always on point and the meals are always plentiful and consistent!!Thank you for joining us and taking the time to let us know about your visit. We appreciate you taking the time to give us a positive review, and we hope you visit again soon!

54th Street was founded in Kansas City, MO by Thomas E. Norsworthy in 1989. He envisioned a place that would accommodate a consistently crowded dining room as well as a lively bar crowd, while offering the quality food and drinks that exceed national chai
We had an office function so there were 10 of us for lunch. They did a great job of getting us seated and our server was awesome - she took care of refills and all of the kitchenâs âerrorsâ politely and quickly. It took quite some time for us to get bread and that also appeared to be a kitchen problem.Overall, the food everyone ordered was hot and fresh and arrived at the same time, so definitely props for that because that is frequently not the case with large groups.Just a few downside examples - one person ordered a loaded baked potato but received no sour cream, cheese, bacon bits, etc. until she asked our server (who was clearly surprised it had not come with the order). Another of our party received none of the side items requested for her salad and meal. Again, once she asked, our server quickly got it.I order a lettuce wrapped burger (I asked if they made lettuce wrap burgers and was told they definitely did) but when it came it was a burger on a bed of shredded lettuce - clearly not a wrap. On the positive side, the burger was prepared very well; had a good flavor; and was cooked to my requested preference.Overall on this visit - server was great; food tasted good; lots of errors by the kitchen. I would have given a 3.5 if possible.Thank you Shawnvandy , for bringing this to our attention. We are sorry to hear about your disappointing experience while dining with us. Read the reviews and had a hankering for some wings. Ordered the 29 piece and fried mushrooms. Everything was great, fried mushrooms were crisp and not overlooked, wings had a nice crisp skin which we like and the sauce was light, not too messy. For the 2 of us it was more than enough. Staff was friendly and efficient. What is even better is that the wings are fresh not frozen.

Who knew you could eat dinner and then shop for dinners at the same place? It was surprisingly very good! I took my teenaged son and we loved it, short wait on food and it came out hot and fresh. The gravy and chicken fried chicken was delicious! The corn could have used more flavor, but hey if that is the only thing I could nitpick at, the place is pretty good. Location couldn't be better when you just want more of a cooked meal than the usual fast food places in the Schertz area without having to go too far outside the surrounding neighborhoods. Will definitely be going back to take the rest of the family.

Since 1984, Chester's Hamburgers has and will always prepare your burgers with the freshest ingredients, the french fries from fresh cut Idaho potatoes, shakes, malts, floats and deserts are all from our Ice Cream that is made fresh in the store, salads of
We spent over half a day at my wifeâs Drâs appointment. The labs & pharmacy extended our stay. We went to Chester Hamburgers to get a bite, because we hadnât eaten since breakfast. We ordered the hamburgers, with sautéed onions & all the trimmings except the cheese. We also ordered fries, onion rings & sweet tea. The food came out hot & made to order. The burgers were so delicious. The onion rings were hot, but over cooked. The fries were also hot & good, but my wife found long strings of hair embedded in one of the fries. She showed the cashier & they gave her the money back for the fries. Also, noted. The burger buns are sesame seed buns. They donât offer a regular hamburger bun, but you could get TEXAS toast bread for an additional price. We enjoyed their hamburger, it taste like home made. Disappointed with the rest.

Tried this place on a recommendation from a friend and it didn't disappoint. I tried the Banh MI and it was delicious, the bread is made fresh and it is light and crispy. The sandwich is generous. The pork is incredibly tender, spicy and sweet. We tried the tomato cheese soup and it was delicious it didn't have an overwhelming tomato taste. The Mango bundt cake was very good, moist, and delicious. Staff is friendly. Fresh made food at a very good price!!!

Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q serves Real Texas Bar-B-Q seven days a week. They offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and group meals.
We were on a house hunting trip and we stumbled on Rudy's. The signs said something like the world's worst BBQ, but the reviews said otherwise. I have to agree with the reviews and laugh while appreciating a business that can make fun of themselves. I hate creamed corn and so does my wife, but we sampled some anyway. We now no longer hate all creamed corn. The meats were spot on! The BBQ sauce wasn't for me. We'll be regular customers!
