Busy place, full of locals. Not enough waitresses. Looked like one waitress was taking care of the whole place. Meat raffle and another raffle going on. Free popcorn and peanuts. two for one appetizers from 4-6. We had potato skins and jalepeno bites. Also ordered burgers. the appetizers were great. We took the burgers home and they were great, even when reheated. We had bloody mary's with chasers which were really good. Will definitely come here again. Nightly specials like Monday burger night. The place could be twice the size and still busy. Wish they'd hire more waitresses tho.

We visited on Friday, February 16, 2018 at lunch time. We were seated in a timely manner and menus were provided. They fashion themselves as an Irish restaurant. So I ordered a Rueben sandwich with fries. My wife had a hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy.Food arrived promptly and was served hot. My sandwich was properly grilled and filled with a good amount of corned beef. The sauerkraut and cheese were flavorful. My wife thought her entree was very good. She took half of it home as the portion was quite large.Prices are reasonable for this good food and service.

I was prepared to loathe this place because they never answer their phone and when they finally, finally do they are snarky, rushed, and act like spending one and half minutes talking to you is completely distracting them from something considerably more pressing.I wasn't even going to give this place a try calling that but my husband and our friends, having not had my unpleasant phone experience, still wanted to visit because...meat.I have to say, begrudgingly, that everything was excellent. Between us we tried the oysters, the french onion soup, the fried chicken, the ribeye, the salmon, the crab cakes and the pork belly and it was all amazing. Our bill, with drinks for 4 people, was $265.00.This review would easily have been 5 stars had their point of contact people been better. **You guys really need to address this; I wonder how many people you alienate who don't have a husband who drags them in anyway...

Stopped in for drinks and appetizers on Jan. 22, 2019. Not too busy at 4:00 pm. Popcorn was excellent. Wings were delicious and nachos were fantastic. Service great. Can't say enough good about the inviting laid-back atmosphere. Sorry I didn't go back for dinner.

Very professional staff. Very pleasant staff. Nice ambiance inside. Nice architecture inside. Good choice of entrees. Food was excellent. I've been here many times with family before. We're always enjoy it. Most recent time, my daughter discovered a long blue thick cotton thread in her entree. Our waitress was prompt in taking care of the issue. It was a thread from one of the kitchen towels. Without asking, she comped my daughter's meal. Please note that the thread issue was not common, and the situation was handled very professionally.

This a breakfast weâll be talking about for a long time! Had to wait a bit for a table, but thereâs a nice hallway and toys for kids to play with. Breakfast was worth the wait! Everything we had (chicken fried steak, eggs, bacon, sausage, Swedish pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes, potatoes) was delicious. And there were numerous other things on the menu we would love to try. Service was excellent! Highly recommend!Thank you very much for your compliments and kind words! I'm glad you mentioned our fantastic breakfast food, it's definitely hard to beat!! We take pride in our service and our delicious meals and we absolutely love hearing your feedback. Thank you again!

My husband, mom and I recently visited for my husbands birthday. Our server was fantastic! Very helpful, great suggestions and insight to both cocktails and menu. Mom had sea bass, hubby had the pork chop and I had the sea food pot. Everything was wonderful but the sea food pot was above my expectations!! It was served in a cast iron pot and had shrimp, sea bass, salmon, mussels and scallops nestled in a delicate but rich gingery creamy broth. It was very interactive and so delicious!! Dessert was on the house for hubbys birthday...a delicious banana chocolate ice cream concoction. We will be back, for sure!! Thank you for making our night amazing!!

A group of nine with 3 kids was treated like kings with exceptional, flawless and friendly service. Every meal was correct, served hot and delicious. Try the Jucy Lucy. It is huge and delicious. Beer selection is extensive. Everything about this experience was perfect! We will be back.

Sometimes it helps to say who you are not, before explaining who you are,...PLate is not a typical business venture. PLate is a fun and focused adventure built on deep friendships, a sense of family, and our proud community. âWe started with a 1900's farm
We visited on January 26, 2019 for brunch. There was only one other table occupied. The entire dining area had only one waitstaff. The music was quite loud for a breakfast/lunch atmosphere. The temperature in the room was drafty and cold.As for the food: My eggs benedict were of poor quality. The eggs were way overcooked! The saltiness of the ham overpowered the entire dish. The English muffin was hard and dry. The sauce had no characteristics of genuine Hollandaise; i.e. no notes of lemon juice or other seasonings. The creamy hash browns were not creamy at all. If you look at my picture you will see the dried out potatoes. I took one bite and no more of the hash browns. My wife's burger was very, very dry. It was also overseasoned and salty. The highlight of the meal was the great french fries. But that was only a side dish.We have no reason to return. Price for oevercooked eggs and dry hash browns with a cheeseburger and fries, two soft drinks, with tax, before tip: $35.38. Very pricey for food that was not even up to chain restaurant quality.
