We stopped for late breakfast on Memorial Day and were surprised to find the restaurant open and most tables filled. The food is freshly prepared and the waitress helpful in our menu choices. Super clean environment and you can see right into the kitchen and dishwasher area. Lots of items to try on our second visit!

My wife and I visited here for our first timelast night and found the parking lot full. We walked in and found the bar area to be spacious and still had little trouble finding a seat. Gloria was our waitress and she was very nice and efficient. Her recommendations of the Taco Salad and wings were spot on. Food was served very quickly. You can tell this place is well run because management is on duty helping out the staff. All in all a very good experience made better by excellent service.Thank you for your kind words. Welcome to the Field House as a new customer. We are fortunate to have Gloria and several hard working, dedicated staff as part of the Field House family. We hope that this is the start of many visits for you to the restaurant. Once the weather improves... stop back and enjoy our outside patio. We appreciate your visit.
Ten of us visited here for my MIL's birthday. The atmosphere and scenic location is great. The building has changed ownership several times over the years, also experiencing some periods of inactivity. The new ownership has stepped up their game, adding a beautiful new bar and expanded menu. Fat Tire on tap! The wait staff is some of the best folks I know and they will take great care of you. We will be visiting regularly, for sure. Hopefully they open the balcony/deck area in warmer months.
I love to try new places especially privately owned bakeries. But I have ordered from here 3 times and have yet to receive my correct order and always costs me more than I anticipated. In addition the "goodies " just are not that Good!! Today I ordered a cookie tray for a special occasion. When I went to pick it up , I assumed that it would be on a tray. But , No 4 dozen cookies where smashed into a cake box. One cookie into another leaving very few presentable to place on a tray. I had requested to spend approx $20-25 dollars but when I got there , They prepared it for 20-25 people , so my cost again was $35 ! I wont be back and I wont be telling anyone good things
My parents are residents at Concordia Senior Living so we tried this nearby family restaurant - less than 3 miles from their residence. The environment is typical bar / casual restaurant style - the food was, in our opinion, better than a typical bar / casual restaurant. Our server was very attentive and understanding that we had my elderly parents with us and was patient with them. We all ordered something different - Stuffed Flounder, Chicken Alfredo, Breaded Shrimp dinner, and the special Stuffed Pork Chop - all entrees were very good and the vegetables were fresh. The tossed salad was nice and the applesauce with cinnamon was very good. All entree's were served piping hot which was appreciated. Two desserts - lemon meringue pie and Very Berry Pie. Both were very fresh, filled will berries and the price of $2.50 & $3.00 was very reasonable. We will return for lunches and dinners in the future.

I stopped in for lunch with a friend and we were greeted by Judy, the owner. This "old style" Hotel has been faithfully restored and the food is delicious. My friend had the famed Lobster Bisque and I had the Wedding Soup..also delicious to the bottom of the bowl. I enjoyed a LARGE Reuben Sandwich on marble rye bread with a tangy, yet sweet, Thousand Islands dressing and HOME MADE fries that were crispy and tender inside. If you're near Saxonburg (or want to spend a day looking around the area) a stop at the Hotel Saxonburg is a MUST.
This is the kind of dive bar where the patrons all stare at you when you walk in. It's full of a certain clique: rough crowd. Poor food. I'm sure there are some people who feel this is biker heaven. Since I am not a biker, this place was not for me.

My first experience here was below average, but after trying their tasty smoked salmon taco's at the brewery next door (this restaurant provides a limited menu at he brewery), we gave it another try. I had the pulled pork which was pretty good, my wife had the smoked turkey which was tasty. You can't rate in half starts here, but this visit fell between a 3 and a 4.

Easily accessible, very clean, great sports atmosphere, great beer selection, average food.....except for the pizza. the pizza is great. I love the big 22oz draft mugs. This seems to be the place to be for Freeport and Sarver on a Friday evening, especially when there's a home high school football game. Sometimes the wait staff can be a little slow to refill drinks, but theyre mostly great local kids.

We visited Evolution last evening with a large group. The gladly took reservations which makes it very convenient. We typically visit here every few months and as always, we weren't disappointed. The apps were fantastic. Fried zucchini, awesome, some of the best in the valley. Baked brie, tasty. Crabmeat bruschetta, to die for. And that's only the apps. I ordered beef stroganof and it was superb. The beef tender, noodles perfect, and the gravy was bold. My wife had the seafood pasta which had a large amount of tender seafood. All our counterparts throughly enjoyed there dinners. If you've been looking for somewhere with consistently good food, Evolution is the place.
