THE LOT is the evolution of the lifestyle entertainment experience. A concept that incorporates sophisticated cuisine, an elevated wine and cocktail program, a curated café bakery, and state of the art cinemas in a contemporary designed setting.
Date night Saturday night. Anxious to try this new theater. Given the fun atmosphere of the City Center, we wanted to catch a movie here. The venue is inviting, the theater is inside an open veranda type setting with a large bar/restaurant area. Full bar, cool look, lots of people having a good time.Keep in mind this is San Ramon, so we know prices are more costly here. Thatâs fine, but I recommend if you want to catch a movie, do it in a more traditional movie theater. Here are my thoughts and reviews:Parking - parking garage is big, easy, and free. Lots of spaces due to people fighting for the outside parking lot spaces which are smaller, and crowded. Go figure.Open/Public Areas: the City Center is a very cool concept: retail and entertainment venues surrounding a large, two-story deep plaza complete with play areas for kids, seating, and eating. All fun.Cinema: as mentioned, very aesthetically and architecturally appealing. Indoor seating is awesome, reclining seats, personal side tables and trays on swing arms. Lots of food options in the lobby and via wait-staff inside, including full-bar items. The problem? Prices sky-high. OK, I can see costly alcohol, but $9.50 for an â805â!?!?! That is what you would get for an entire six-pack. Popcorn: the âextra-largeâ which is smaller than your standard chain-cinema âjumboâ, will set you back $8.50, with NO free-refill like you would get at Regal, AMC, Galaxy, etc. in addition; the popcorn just isnât that good.I think if you want a fun evening out, maybe dinner, drinks, atmosphere, visit the Lot. If you want to watch a movie, go to a traditional theater where you get more for your wallet.Yes, yes, I know: East Bay and San Ramon are high-cost areas, sure, and I make high six-figures, but I donât think that I should be gouged for lousy popcorn.

California America with European/Asian influenced cuisine served in a casual~elegant setting.
My treat for Mother's Day was a trip to Bridges...and it did not disappoint. We sat outside on the patio, and it was lovely. The food...avocado soup, asparagus salad, omelets, halibut and French toast casserole, chocolate tart...were all delicious. Our waiter Ben was superb...noticing water levels as soon as they were half empty. We will return on a normal day...a hands down 5 !!!

So we haven't been back in a long time because this place gets really loud and it's hard to carry on a conversation. We were hungry for BBQ and decided to give it another try. I actually prefer Sauced BBQ in Livermore to this place (but it's a long drive). This place is still loud :( While I actually enjoyed the food, the service was lacking :( She forgot to bring our appetizer :( I asked to hold the onions straws on my meal - she didn't - and didn't come back to check on us for me to rectify it with her (just picked them off) :(Those kinds of things can really make or break a meal out for me. Probably won't be back.

Went at last minute for lunch on a weekend day. Arrived just before 2 their closing time, and was not rushed. The food and service (William was our server) was great. Started with Bloody Maryâs and shared the poke appetizer. There were cherry tomatoes in with the tuna and avocado which I found a bit odd. The salmon fish tacos were really good and my guest had the mussels as her main, which were great and priced right. Had not been to the Peasant and the Pear in about 10 years, but will definitely go back.

Went here with a group of ten for a business dinner. We ordered oysters and deviled eggs for appetizers. They were ok. Eggs didnât have a lot of flavor. The oysters were fresh and tasty. There were a variety of dishes ordered, burgers were popular and those that had them said they were good, the pork chop was popular as well and so was the Caesar salad. I had the buratta and tomato salad. The tomatoes were very fresh and the buratta was just ok. Service was ok, not great.

Restaurant was down the blockâ from where I staying so I decided to go as it seemed to rate well and was on open tableBar area/lounge was busy, but I was seated in the restaurant section in a big booth by myself. Restaurant really has no atmosphere and it appears to be a favorite of senior citizens. Decided To have the prime rib along with the California salad. Salad was good but a little heavy on the dressing. Prime rib was good for the price. Restaurant is very old style. Going to always attract the older crowd with the standards.

While in San Ramon, CA for a few days asked the locals where to eat that wasnât the normal channels of food restaurants... they suggested Clementineâs and it was enjoyable.Food was reasonably priced, no problems with parking, staff was on the ball and it smelled of great food on entering for dinner. Easy place to locate in a good neighborhood.

Katyâs Korner opened in December 1998 and has since become a staple of the San Ramon community. The secret to our success? Great, quality food, friendly service, and homey decorum. The bottom line at Katyâs has, and always will be, making sure our custome
Good food but the service isn't as good really good Eggs Benedict, but I always feel rushed to get in and out which ins't how I want to enjoy my Sunday morning breakfast. I get it they are busy and have people waiting but to have my breakfast out before I've even had my coffee isn't enjoyable. Also very expensive for breakfast it's good food but not worth the price much better places int he area for breakfast.
