St. Marys is a city in Elk County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 13,070 at the 2010 census. Originally a small town inhabited by mostly Bavarian Roman Catholics, it was founded December 8, 1842. It is home to Straub Brewery and the first Benedictine convent in the United States. In 1992, the borough of St. Marys absorbed the surrounding township of Benzinger and incorporated as a city.

Keystone Corner Lunch has become our Friday night favorite. Best burgers and fries in town! My favorite is the double burger with cheddar and loads of toppings that you choose. Their special Keystone Sauce is delicious. You know how most of the time fresh cut fries are soggy? Not these.The fries are hand cut, brined overnight, and double fried, and they are soft inside and crispy outside. Yum! Not a lot of seating, but the diner is really cute. We always order and pick up, and every time, our food has been ready in 15 minutes. We are so glad they opened!!

My husband and I stopped here the second evening of our PA motorcycle trip. We were seated immediately. Gina was our waitress and answered all of our questions. I had the whitefish dinner which included a dinner salad and a roll. I chose steamed broccoli as a side. The entire meal was delicious and the portion of fish was large.The salad was large for a house salad and I liked the cinnamon butter that was offered with the roll. My husband had the special that evening which was 15 deep fried shrimp with 2 sides and a roll for $10.99. The shrimps were large and more than he could eat. We enjoyed looking at the pictures on the walls which told a lot about the people of the area. Donât hesitate to try dinner here.

The restaurant is where the old MerlÃnâs used to be. Today was my first visit there. There was a large group of us and the service was pleasant and prompt. Several of us have severe food allergies, yet the service was still prompt. I nightly recommend the Pour House for lunch, especially for people who need to have special handling for their food.Thank you so much for your review!! We aim to please!! Don's Pizza & wings is the best around. Every time we get food from don's we are never disappointed. I must say I have never ate at Don's but always get take out, delivery or about any major event in town. I think I'm most impressed with how Don is so giving to charity's, fundraisers and is always stepping up to help those in need. Need more people & business owners like Don'sThanks

We visited this cafe while stopping through Saint Mary's. Had a very nice meal. I ordered a lunchtime salad -- greens, orange wedges, craisins, blue cheese crumbles and red vinagrette dressing. It was presented beautifully and was very filling. My husband ordered the special -- meatball sub, which came with melon slices and chips. His was also very good and filling. We would definitely return.

On a recent motorcycle trip, centered around St. Mary's, PA, we explored the surrounding Pennsylvania Wilds. We ate at Gunners for 3 of the nights. Food was excellent; prepared as requested, with excellent sides. Their potato wedges were some of the best we'd ever tasted. Burgers were tasty, and pleasantly plated. The broccoli was ordered as one of the sides with the Prime Rib special, and it was perfectly cooked. (I realize people like vegetables to different levels of "done-ness", so let's say they were fresh with a clean flavor, not at all mushy and not crunchy.) And on the topic of freshness, the side salad was fresh and crisp, as well. Selection of tap and bottle beers and ciders was broad and deep.Thank you so much for your positive feedback!!! We hope you will come back to Gunners if you are in the area again!!!

This place makes REAL pizza! Best crust ever. Hand sliced italIan sausage tops off theit Deluxe. We eat Rick's at a minimum once a week. Excellent wings... The stromboli is made like nothing that I have ever had before. Buffalo Chicken and Veggie are our favorite. The subs, oh my gosh the subs. Steak Supreme and Italian. But remember, this is not just a classic pizzaria... They have other amazing things. Gyros are spot on as well. Try one of their desert pizzas :) YUMMO!
