The restaurant is very clean & pleasant looking inside and boasts housemade breads and baked goods so our hopes were up. The food and service was uneven sadly. Also, we noticed a musty smell after we sat down. Our french toast and bacon were very good. The rest of the breakfast wasn't. We ordered medium-cooked poached eggs that arrived barely warm and extremely runny, chicken apple sausage that had unchewable chunks of gristle, & finally blueberry pancakes. The blueberries were fresh & good, but the pancakes were very bland. The waiter never came back to enquire how we liked our breakfast, & never asked why the eggs, sausage and pancakes were barely eaten. Outside of the bathroom hall area I witnessed a waiter remove a muffin with a bare hand and put it in a plate to serve a customer. Yuck.

A full service specialty grocery store established in 1975. We have a wide variety of meat, seafood, cheeses, house made products, a full service deli and so much more.
What a delightful find. Kind of a poor relation to upscale markets like Whole Foods or Fresh Market, but endearing in its ordinariness! They have everything you could want plus unexpected finds like birdhouses and socks!

Market Restaurant offers an elegant yet comfortable dining experience. Located on Main Street in St. Helena, the historical building features exposed stone walls and an antique bar dating back to the turn of the century. The menu features American classic
This restaurant has always been our GO-TO place, but alas, No More! When you are charging $15+ for a cocktail, the bartender has to know how to mix drinks. We came early and the place was nearly empty. So why would it take 20 minutes to get our drinks, and get them right? They simply don't know how to get the drinks out quickly, and it's been a problem so long, that we've given up. Chipped Ice! That's right, what do you get when you use chipped ice for an "on the rocks" cocktail? Answer: you get an alcohol flavored glass of ice water. This is amateur hour. And if it sits on the bar for ten minutes before it gets delivered to the table, it's worse. As for martinis, the chipped ice turns them into gin-flavored water; sure, it fills the glass, but it's not a proper martini. NO ONE wants a diluted drink. Back to the beginning, why would we wait so long to get terrible drinks in a restaurant that's nearly empty? We've mentioned this to management, and they just don't get it. We give up. Oh yes, the steaks. We asked that they come out hot off the grille. No way. They probably sat under a heat lamp for ten minutes so they came out warm, but not sizzling hot the way steaks should be. Again, nearly empty restaurant . . . and obviously no attention to detail. We even told the waiter . . . be sure to bring the steaks out sizzling hot! Didn't happen.

I do not understand all the positive reviews for this restaurant. We had fresh tomatoes and artichokes as an appetizer, and that was excellent. Everything went downhill from there. The entrees were forgettable at best. They served a New York strip steak and described it as âsliced for your convenience.â They had to slice it in the kitchen because it was too tough to slice, much less chew, at the table. Several of us had the fish dishes that were uniformly found to be tasteless. Wines were good. An totally regrettable experience. ecloebl,Thank you for your review on your recent visit to Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch. Although we are glad that you enjoyed the appetizers and wine selection,we regret to hear that you did not enjoy your entrees and that this impacted your dining experience. Our goal is always to exceed our guests expectations with every visit. The Napa Valley is steeped in sunshine, flavor, and beauty. A simple yet sophisticated place, it's always been about great food and great wine -- no fuss. In the springtime, the mustard flower blooms and covers the Valley floor in a carpet of yellow. When
We had a wonderful dinner at Mustards Grill tonight. Everything was fresh and the menu truly offers something for everyone. I had the Asian chicken salad which was outstanding, and others in our party raved about the ahi tuna sandwiches. We all shared an order of onion rings which were light, crispy and delicious. Portions are generous here and service is also excellent. Those onion rings are so addicting! Thanks so much for swinging by for a tasty meal with all your friends. Hopefully you'll visit again soon for another wonderful evening.Best,The Team at Mustards Grill

Did not impress. Stiff, subtle restaurant with good quality food. Not friendly for children. Staff are good, but slow serving. Wait a long time for food and drinks. And also expensive. Not worth the money.Food and cocktail was good.

We went here for our honeymoon and we were very excited. When we got there, it took two people asking to turn on the heat lamp and the waitress was slow to come back before only saying congratulations when dessert came out. The service was simply not up to par for what I would expect out of a place so expensive with a Michelin star. The food was great but we got food just as good and better elsewhere for less. Dear TylerJ322,Thank you for choosing to spend time with us during your honeymoon. I sincerely apologize that your celebration was not acknowledged upon your arrival and the service was disappointing. I have discussed your feedback with our team so we may further enhance our overall dining experience.Best wishes to you and congratulations on your wedding,Bradley ReynoldsGeneral Manager

This is part of the Hillstone restaurant group. I have been to several of these restaurants around California and Arizona. They all have almost the same menu which is a good thing because the food is terrific and they nail it almost every time. My wife and I always get the same thing, the French dip sandwich. Incredible thing. Sliced prime rib on a soft roll with Cole slaw. This is the ultimate French dip. I don't mean ultimate in the gimmicky kind of way, I mean it because it is always identically perfect from the last one I had. Once I ordered the ribs just to try something different. They were very good fall off the bone sticky sauce type but after I finished I wish I had ordered my usual French dip. They serve very good salads. If you want a side or starter type salad look at the bottom of the menu for the great little salad. It isn't listed with the rest of the salads. The jalapeño corn bread is wonderful. It is served in a cast iron skillet and is made for more than 2 people. Worth ordering but very filling. They have a small but nice wine list and stocked bar. The corkage is free for the first bottle of wine which is a generous touch especially in the wine country. I am a large person and the booths are plenty big even the 2 tops. This place is very popular and almost always has a crowd of folks waiting comfortably in the large outdoor patio bar area. The design is very pleasant, a little dark inside, relaxed but nice enough for a romantic dinner if not a little loud. Lots of people having fun. We have a branch of this chain in our town and go when we have a need for the French Dip. I have never been disappointed, they always deliver. IF they have artichokes get one, they are perfectly cooked with a few light grill marks and a nice mayo sauce on the side. You won't be sorry, just get there early.

A foodtruck that grew up into a very good restaurant. Always get the Tri Tip Bites for and appitizer. Excellant menu focused on an ecclectic southern twist. Love the gnocchi with the chicken meatballs. Good bar with unique cocktails, local wines, and draft beer. Don't miss the beignets. Wine country comfort food.
