My wife & I stopped in for dinner before heading home on our two hour trip. We were extremely hungry. We decided to stop here because the parking lot was crouded and we thought the food must be good and affordably priced. We were wrong on both thoughts. We would have been better stopping at McDonald's or Burger King.Dear creativewoods, thank you for telling us about your experience. I am sorry that you did not enjoy our establishment. We prepare nearly all of our dishes from scratch while sourcing local ingredients within a few miles of our restaurant so we couldnât be more different from a Burger King or McDonaldâs.

We stayed at the Carriage House Motel and used our breakfast voucher at the Speckled Hen the next morning. I got the French toast and my son got eggs and hashbrowns. The only reason I docked this place one point was because it took an awful long time for the food to come out and when it did it wasnât hot. It seemed like it had sat there waiting for the waitress to deliver it. Other than that it was enjoyable,

Lancaster PA Restaurant & Smorgasbord 85 years ago... Anna Miller served chicken & waffles to truckers as her husband repaired their rigs. It was a simple dish, but it was always served up with a smile. Today our tried & true recipes may not be as simple,
Comfortable setting, plenty of room, good home cooked food. Lots of choices for everyone. Salad bars, some seafood, ham, turkey, beef & chicken, Surrounded by fresh breads, vegetables and potatoes. Lots to choose from. Then the desert bar awaits you with fresh pies and many other choices.Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A bit pricey at $26 per person though. We went for my free birthday dinner. It is probably one of the best buffets in Lancaster county. The Amish specialties on the buffet are delicious! My husband enjoyed his pork barbecue meal, too, which was a very big sandwich, generously stuffed, with a big helping of fries. Our server, Lisa, was friendly and seemed to enjoy her job. Birthday time is probably the only time we would go, however, because the buffet price is a little too high for us.

Java Junction Coffee Bar + Grill What started out as a bakery ( formerly OCB Cakes 11.5 west main) has now expanded and moved to a larger space with more to offer! We now serve breakfast and lunch daily. Breakfast is served until noon Wednesday thru Sunda
This is a small local restaurant with really good food and wonderful and friendly service. It also had home made scones, banana and zucchini bread.Everyone in our family of 9 enjoyed their food including the grandchildren. The only negative is they do not serve pancakes or french toast which is what my husband prefers to eat for breakfast.

Had occasion to visit both the restaurant and the bar and was extremely pleased. Bartender Jennifer quickly became a BFF. My one cousin wanted a drink poor Jen had never heard of, but she gamely gave it a try...and succeeded! Good food, good service, fair prices...we were very happy.

We went because of the excellent reviews but I have to say it was the worst. My pattie melt was flavorless. The bread was soggy and I didn't want french fries, no substitutes. I tried the french fries and they were cold. Since I didn't want them in the first place, I just left them. My husbands bowl of chili was awful. Nothing but tomato and again, no flavor. The fried green beans were sticks of fried breading. With all of the fantastic restaurants there, we were sorry we chose this one. There were a lot of out of state licenses plates in the parking lot, ours included. I didn't even bother taking pictures, we were in and out quickly.

We ate here twice, for dinner and for breakfast. The sticky buns at breakfast were awesome. The rest of the breakfast buffet was just okay, nothing special. They have a dinner buffet, but we opted to order from the menu. My burger wasnât that good - meat seemed to be a pre-prepared patty out of the freezer. My sweet potato fries were good and my husband said his beef and mashed potatoes and gravy was okay. If you like buffets try Dienners. Because of the sticky buns we give them 4 stars. Since we didnât have the dinner buffet, we canât rate that feature. We are so sorry to see you did not have the best possible experience at our restaurant. We are glad to see you enjoyed the sticky buns so much. Thanks for giving us a try and taking the time to share your feedback. We hope you have a great day.

We are staying in Lancaster for a quick weekend and wanted to go somewhere for dinner that had actual parking, not street parking! Gibraltar is right down the street from our hotel. We walked in and the atmosphere was inviting and clean. We sat up at the bar because all tables were booked up, but the service was excellent. Very friendly bar tenders and they were very fun to watch make drinks! The food was absolutely incredible. They had a few specials for the evening and a small but cohesive menu. I got bacon and corn chowder, which was a special, followed by the lobster fettuccine. That was out of this world! We were enticed by a special strawberry short cake for dessert which was incredible!! Overall, a totally unexpected and delicious experience. Iâd recommend this to anyone in the area. Jut be aware, this is definitely an adult atmosphere, kids would have issues finding something to eat!Kvfarbman,Thank you for your review, we are looking forward to serve you soon again. :)
