You really need to get there early if she'll jump quickly. The food is excellent, the drinks are always made to perfection. But it gets crowded early

i have been going there for a couple of years. i get my "Sub Club" card punched everytime. i keep an eye on my punches that i received. a couple of weeks (around 3/15/18) i went and got my sandwich and got my card punched. i put the card on my pocket and left. i couple days later i looked at my card and there was a "hanging chad" as if the punch did not go all the way through. so the question is: was 44 punched or 44.5? should 45 have been punched? so today i went again but i took a picture of my card before i went in see attached. i had lunch and got my card punched again. the punch is unclear was this visit for #45 or #46 or will next visit...assuming there is a next visit....be 46? look at the top of the card how there are punches way off the checkered border and into the middle of the card. it almost suggests they did the same thing there.

recently reopened in 2012 after being closed due to Hurricane Irene in 2011.
We came early for lunch just after 12pm and the restaurant was nearly full. I look forward coming here, because their Lobster Rolls are delicious. As an entree it comes with sweet potatoes fries and coleslaw. My husband had blackened Swordfish with rice. We shared Key Lime pie for dessert. It was great to see Michael S, who was quite busy serving the crowded room, but still made some time for a friendly chat. On our way out we stopped at the counter to get fresh halibut for tomorrow's dinner. .

Average.. The menu is typical NJ Diner menu...the quality of preparation ranges from good to bad...nothing remarkable. Many friends like it, but it's not my first choice. There are lots of diners in the area and this one is near the bottom. The heating and cooling system is erratic, and they always seem to seat me under a cold air fan. The food is bland, plentiful, but unremarkable. The staff is sometimes efficient and sometimes not...staff changes seem more frequent that most places so I wonder why.

Only breakfast and lunch, but that's what you need to start your day. Friendly and efficient staff makes your time well spent. A little small for space, but the food makes up for the close quarters. Eclectic atmosphere adds to the experience. But it's the food that keeps me coming back

Great local pub, with food far above standard "pub fare". The Guinness was top shelf, as was the food, the locals at the bar, the bartender and the guy playing guitar. So glad I visited this place.
