Had dinner and cocktails. The food was fine with a very limited menu. The soup was hot with good flavor. I had the American Burger which was cooked correctly and also had good flavor. Had the Creme Brulee for desert and it was OK. Service was good and the cocktails were also good.

We visited on a Saturday morning and found that Bella Bru had a special Brunch menu. Very tasty crab omelet and truly outstanding black bean soup. This restaurant has been a reliable resource for breakfast, and now will be a great option for brunch. Coffee is also about the best that we have experienced. Friendly service and reasonable prices too.

Staying nearby (not the place next door, however) and needed a good breakfast before heading out. We chose Brookfieldâs based on proximity and reviews. It was a good choice. Arrived at 8 a.m., seated quickly and order taken just as quickly by a very friendly server. I got the Belgian waffle and coffee, husband got the âvalue menuâ short stack of pancakes with egg. It was all delicious. Refills of coffee offered at the perfect time until I didnât want any more. We were done and on the road by 8:30, which was what we needed due to an appointment at 9.Would we return? Definitely! Especially after looking at those desserts in the dessert case!

Malabar American Cooking serves classic American dishes with an innovative twist. A Sacramento, CA favorite, you'll find something for everyone here!
Was staying by the airport hotels and looking for a good meal, so tried the Malabar. Was pleasantly surprised to get immediate seating.Malabar was a neat place and, although a little noisy, the food was enjoyable enough that I'll try to be there again when travels permit. I wasn't disappointed.

I was not keen on trying this restaurant. The idea of meals based on waffles seems gimmicky to me. Boy was I wrong! I donât know how they keep the waffles so crisp- right until the last bite. The chicken waffle was absolutely delicious- I am dreaming of the time I can have it again. Crispy, sweet, savory, an incredible depth of flavors and textures. This place really knows food and seasoning. Bear in mind that the food is not cheap. The place is small. The hours are limited. Totally worth it.
Southern style cooking with a California twist. Happy Hospitality coming from all of our staff!
We saw the grand opening sign and decided to give it a try. Didn't know that it was a chain restaurant. It kinda had a more hometown feel. The theme of the place is Huck Finn southern cooking. Great mural of Huck on a raft on the Mississippi River. Had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. Excellent. A bisquet so big it took two packs of jam. My wife had an omelette called the swamp. She loved it. Couldn't finish it all. Both these were on the senior menu. Great service and casual atmosphere. Plan to return many times.

An overpriced restaurant at a shopping mall. The Service was very good, but the food wasn't. The Lasangna was overcooked and didn't match the price paid. This one shouldn't be near the top of the Tripadvisor list.

This is a wonderful dining experience. Unlike all other traditional restaurants the staff is very interactive with everyone. There are announcements from the chefs, visit to the cooking area and so much showmanship which we just loved. The food is excellant, a 7 course meal served in stages. None of the course are large so you will there is room for every course and you will not feel stuffed. A pricey evening but weel woth it for a special occasion.

Usually don't eat a lot of fast food especially chicken. Husband and I really hungry..so took a chance. This chicken made my husband and I very ill. Too much MSG! Honestly we should have known better. Not blaming the individual restaurant, but the franchise recipe is way to heavy on the MSG. Never ever ever again!
This is one of them there don't judge a book by its cover type of joint. You won't regret giving this place your $ after you taste their grub. The soups and salad dressing are made right there! Outstanding service and great food too.
