Welcome to Laid Back Burger Shack! We are small family owned restaurant located in Florence, Ms. We use only 100% fresh ground beef that is prepared daily. All burgers are cooked medium well or medium upon request. Everything is cooked to order.
The size of this place is deceiving. Have not been disappointed with anything I have eaten here. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommendHey Monica B, thank you for your kind review!

I have been traveling constantly for over 26+ years several Countries and most every town across half the United States. I prefer a solid 'homestyle' meal & good 'old-fashioned' cooking...Cracker Barrel has BOTH! Since they are always located near major highways, that makes it a very easy & convenient place to get good quality meals while travelling. And who doesn't like having 'breakfast for dinner'? You just can't go wrong with eating at Cracker Barrel.

My wife and I enjoyed a lunch break here on our trip. Service was quick and attentive. Grilled shrimp were succulent and tasty. Fried catfish tenders were delicious as well. We'll be visiting this place again on our next drive through Jackson.
Captain D's in right in front of motel and we recieved a hot freshly made meal with a lot of food for the price . It was extrememly tasty and i would go there anytime
The service was very good and speedy too. My dinner was quite tasty. Very clean sandwich area. Convenient location.
This Subway in Richland Walmart is a blessing. It has really good food, staff and the prices are okay. Each Subway is a little pricey but you are getting healthier foods, which makes it worth your visit. Go try this place today and you won't regret it!

I think I'd call this a hole-in-the-wall. As we drove up and when we walked through the door, the place is nothing special. It's raw cement floors, false ceiling tiles and cheap faux wood tables. The people behind the counter make this place special. The gentleman making our sandwiches was polite, easy going and very helpful. Then you slide down to the left and run into the funniest character around. In what I might call a thick Cajun accent, he talks loud, makes faces, says crazy things, but it all fits. He had two customers rolling with laughter when they asked for drink refills. He had all three of us smiling and laughing as he poked at us. It was in great fun, so when we sat at the table, we were in a great mood. When the food arrived the good mood made the experience better. I give the flavors 3.5 to 4 stars. The muffaletta was filled with olive bits and sweet ham. The coleslaw was middle of the road. The pulled pork was moist with great flavors. My wife liked her build-your-own sandwich.I loved my visit, but I could see how the checkout guy could hit some people the wrong way. He's walking a fine line between funny, crazy and rude.

Love their loaded baked potatoes. I usually get the half and half... half sandwich and half a baked potato. You can't go wrong with anything but my favorite is the pot roast potatoe which is just what you think... a huge baked potato with pot roast and gravy. Only order the sweet tea if you are a drinker who likes loads of sugar in it.
Mom's kitchen is the iconic southern lunch plate line serving up the southern classics. I visited on country fried steak day and I must admit it that it was just as good as I could could have made at home. That is the whole point, they serve a good "homemade" meal with"nothing out of a can." BTW they do an interesting version of bread pudding. It is essentially a compact rectangle of bread and buttery goodness that is served in a pool of sweet butter sauce. It is very good and definitely worth the small price they ask for it. A friend of mine, who is a regular, said that the ladies on the serve line are always welcoming and ask him about his day.

Firstly, Iâd like to say the food was excellent and the atmosphere was astounding. We were coming through headed home from the beach and everyone really enjoyed the dinner. Secondly, I just want to take a second and speak on what I witnessed here on this night. Christina and Nikki were our waitresses. They were very friendly and worked well together, ensuring all customers were taken care of. About half way through our dinner a group of people walk in and the young waitress walks up to the table and greets them with a smile, asks how their day is going and thanks them for choosing Berryâs to eat. This is when it goes down hill. Quickly. The guy tells this waitress that he isnât very hungry, he just wants to eat a little bit off his womanâs plate and says he wants to just be charged for 1 buffet. The waitress kind of caught off guard says something along the lines of, thatâs not allowed and offers plate options. The girlfriend of this guy leans over and whispers something in his ear when immediately he cuts the waitress off and tells her that she needs to get Carol on the phone now, Iâm assuming this is the owner, stating he was good friends with him. I wasnât able to hear what she said clearly but he ended up letting that go. Then he proceeds to let this waitress know who his father is. âYeah. The mayor of this town is my father.â The waitress, still just smiling says something about them looking alike when all of a sudden this schmuck tells her to shut up three times. Getting a little louder each time. The waitress noticeably uncomfortable, gathers their drink orders and then walks away. A few seconds later, Christina comes over and tries to take their order. He starts up again and says something about calling Carol again. He says a few other arrogant and rude things but he is consistently greeted by patience and polite responses. I loved the food and the atmosphere but I mainly have to compliment these two young ladies. They handled this with such class and did not let it effect the service to their other tables. We really enjoyed them and hated to see them get treated so terribly by this table. We also had the privilege of finishing up the same time they did and noticed nothing left on the table and heard them leave a big tip of zero dollars on the card as the girlfriend laughed about it. As for the mayor of this town, you need to teach your entitled son some manners, especially when talking to women. Heâs too old to be acting in such ways and treating people that way.
