Went out for a late dinner and found this sorta off the beaten bath little spot. It was later so there was no crowd and we were greeted immediately. They have a changing selection of craft beers in this smaller bar. The few tables are spaced out around the dark bar and thereâs a game on the tv. In keeping with the English theme there were several English dishes with their own spin. I ordered the buffalo Shepardâs pie and my friend ordered the stroganoff. We both ordered a scotch egg to start which was good. I like a crispier crust than oven baking achieves but the flavors where there. Dinner came out pipping hot and looked great. For me the flavors were spot on. I thoroughly enjoyed my pie with the home style potatoes and minced meat and vegetables carrying the freshness and seasoning to a wonderful taste. The stroganoff has cut cubed meat not the usually ground with a interesting flavor that was delicious. The sour cream not mixed in, which I prefer, and sat on top for the diner to add as they choose. Great beef, delicious English food and a nice little bar atmosphere. This was a win for sure.

The "E" has a fairly large and varied menu. It is the kind of place where you need to find items that suit your taste and stick with them. Very casual and a well designed facility. Mix of booths and tables. Good service, though may be too fast unless you ask the waitress to slow it down. Our waitress was experienced and knew the menu very well. I had the Prime Rib vegetable soup which I like a lot. Also a nice side salad with good dressing which was bigger than I expected and a Reuben sandwich. A couple of years ago the Reuben was the best ever, but not so much now. Meat was tough and stringy and hard to bite through. Should have requested that the meat be chopped. My wife had a pasta dish with shrimp. OK and/but a huge portion. (In Oregon more is always better, or at least that is what people seem too think) Decent drinks and wine. They have a big bar separate from dining so alcohol is well done. I don't know if the "E" takes reservations, but its a fairly large operation and we have never had to wait for a table. It is in mid-Redmond on northbound 5th street.

Disappointing dinner with family at the Redmond Brickhouse. Inconsistent food. Those who ordered their steaks medium, received rare, another who ordered their steak medium rare it arrived well done, a fourth person found their steak tasteless and inedible. My halibut was tasty and cooked fine, the crab cakes were also very good, and the seafood pasta was good. So overall, quite the mixed bag from good to mediocre to inedible. The wait was long and slow for our food. Our server seemed overworked, with too many tables and with no one to help her bring out food and serve our group. She was professional and extremely apologetic as we showed her the condition of the various cooks on our steaks. The price seemed high to us for Redmond/Central Oregon restaurants, most of the steaks starting at $40 up to $65, especially when they aren't cooked perfectly and the atmosphere seems very casual not classy. I'd like to say I'd give them a second chance, but with so many other restaurants I'd like to try I just don't want to take another chance and plan to take my $ and business elsewhere.

Great food. Love the vegetarian options and how wholesome it all is. Nice atmosphere as well. Feels like you are going to grandma's for a delicious homemade meal.

The food wasn't spectacular...good, but not spectacular. There are better choices for Mexican food in Redmond. I thought the prices were high. They charged $5.00 for a little tiny bowl of pico de gallo!!!!! Plan on spending $38-$50 per couple without alcohol!Service was good.

Came here for lunch on vacation. They only serve breakfast and lunch. We had the breakfast sandwich and the ham marscapone melt. Breakfast sandwich was fairly large and had dripping egg. Ham sandwich had apples and nutsâdifferent. The Parmesan chips didnât have much flavor. We asked for more water which we never got. They had inside and outdoor seating.

My wife and I stopped by for their Happy Hour. It has an impressive looking bar in the dining area that reminded me of splendor from a bygone era of fine dining. It is a wine bar and as such had only limited options for microbrews, limited enough so that I passed on their options. The soup du jour (why do restaurants have this every day?!) was a smoked salmon chowder, which was very good. Also very good was their creamy mac-n-cheese made with gruyere cheese and topped with bacon. Based on these two dishes, my overall rating would be "very good" or 4 of 5 bubbles. However, the Happy Hour Caesar salad bordered on minuscule and was very ordinary. While the romaine was crisp and seemingly fresh, its edges had begun to turn red indicating that it wasn't fresh. It reminded me of bagged romaine lettuce that we sometimes have at the food pantry where I volunteer .... still okay but on the edge of not being okay. For what is seemingly a better restaurant, it just doesn't seem right to serve romaine, which I presume was chopped romaine from a bag, that shows signs of being on the edge. Service was good so that was a plus, but overall I can't go more than 3 bubbles out of 5 or just average.

This modern brew pub just a few blocks from downtown Redmond is worth seeking out. The outdoor area is extensive, with fireplace heating to keep the chill off. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon, with a couple of food trucks parked nearby. Everyone seemed to favor the good looking thin crust pizza. The beers were decent - we had a flight. What I liked the best was the blackberry/pineapple cider which was outstanding.
