Reviews on American food in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, United States. Rancho Palos Verdes (also known by the abbreviation RPV) is a city in Los Angeles County, California atop the Palos Verdes Hills and bluffs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. An affluent suburb of Los Angeles, it is known for large tracts of open space and expansive views of the Pacific Ocean. Rancho Palos Verdes is translated as "Ranch of Green Sticks", probably referring to the willows in the northeastern part of Bixby Slough (now known as Machado Lake) shown on earlier maps.

Finally a resort who understands people! They offer everything healthy people want in a luxury resort...spa, clean rooms with luxurious linens and amenities, onsite dining, exercise classes and most importantly...fresh juices and smoothies. I enjoyed a wheatgrass shot every morning!!! Was wonderful!

We all know the menu and good pricing, but the patio overlooking the bluffs and ocean is well with the price of a sandwich. The staff were amazingly supportive of our questions about the different Subway selections in the States....they were smiling and kept us happy as well!

After having a great afternoon playing the par 3 course at the resort, we had an hour before we needed to get ready for dinner. We went to the Lobby Bar. After waiting for several minutes, I finally went to a staff person and asked if we needed to order at the bar. I was told no. Several minutes later, a girl came and took our orders. When she left with our order, she turned around and had a hole in her black tight pants revealing her white underwear. Very tacky. The food was good, but took a long time to come we ordered a cheese plate and calamari. The guys ordered a second drink. It came moments before we had to leave to get ready for dinner. I asked the guys if they still wanted the drinks since we had to leave. The server jumped in and said, âOh, you can take them with you.â The sofas we sat on had stains all over them. The planters were partially painted and badly chipped up. It was less than classy. 6 drinks and 2 appetizersâ$140

Yellow Vase proudly serves the South Bay with our delicious cafe meals, bakery items, cakes, and desserts. Yellow Vase also offers florist services.
Food is average but it's a nice place to go for a great ocean view. There is outdoor and indoor seating. You stand in line to place your order and menus are available at the register. Nice selection of pastries and baked goods. Free parking.

Bring your AMEX card, you will need it. But once you get past how pricey CK is, you will love the ambiance, food and service for any meal. Breakfast buffet Saturday is very good ($42 adult, $16 kids) and you can also order off the limited menu. Dinner menu recently updated with plenty of fresh seafood including oysters, fab ahi poke while still keeping the yummy flatbreads. But bread service is $4 and you get a hot loaf of bread which is annoying. Plenty of outdoor tables overlooking the family pool and Pacific, well heated. OK wine list.

If you eat healthy you will be challenges here. The location is awesome however and if you don't mind dogs smelling your legs you can bring yours too.

It's one of the dining options at the Terranea Resort Hotel in Rancho Palos Verdes.
The food is disgusting and overpriced here. Fries are 9 dollars, an avocado toast is 18 dollars. Vegetarian options are virtually nonexistent except for fries, pizza, and avocado toast (which is covered with canned squash and disgusting). However, the location is in the Terranea resort, which is quite nice. Our waitress was also nice and helpful.

Welcome to The Admiral Risty, a Palos Verdes Peninsula tradition since 1966! Conveniently located in Ranco Palos Verdes, this upscale American restaurant overlooks the Pacific Ocean with a beautiful view of Catalina Island. We offer award-winning food fea
Lots of our friends like this restaurant. We do not as what you eat there the entrees come with numerous add-ins and the of course the price is then higher then just an entree and of course other restaurants. You have no choice to just order a small entree. So the bar is good, the food is good, but you get too much and that drives the price up so we seldom go there..I'm sorry to see this. I'm glad you enjoy our food and drinks, but it's a shame to see you don't feel like the price is appropriate. Our dishes are award-winning quality, which is reflected in our pricing. I hope this won't keep you from enjoying another meal here with your friends.Best wishes,Wayne, Owner

Terranea Resort has always been a favorite of my mother so we chose to celebrate Mother's Day an evening early with a nice dinner at the resort's finest restaurant. We have eaten at Catalina Kitchen before and really enjoyed it but wanted to try Mar'sel. We were glad we did,First, the setting is spectacular and we got a perfect table on the patio overlooking the beautiful grounds and the ocean beyond. Service was excellent and we liked everything we tried. I'm attaching some photos of our dishes. I think the Branzino is the best I've ever had, expertly deboned and served with the skin perfectly crisp. We did not try dessert because we had a special cake waiting for us at home, but I must mention the bread. The waiter offered us a bread selection and all looked delicious. We couldn't resist trying both the darker walnut date bread and the freshly baked English muffin. Heavenly and definitely worth indulging even for those who are trying to cut down on their gluten!Yes, the prices are on the high side but not outrageous for a nice resort and for outstanding tasting food. Also: unlike some expensive foodie places, the portions were on the larger side so we got to enjoy the food again as a snack the next day. A great special occasion place for sure.

The Slip is a casual pub located on the International Boardwalk at the Redondo Beach Pier. We believe food at a bar doesn't have to taste like bar food. Our menu is a collection ranging from decadent tasting burgers to vegan salads. You can select from ov
We were really pleased to have chosen this great establishment from the many eateries and pubs around Redondo Beach. It is a gem of a place with brilliant staff, great food and drink at very reasonable prices in a fantastic location. The menu which includes many healthy options, would surely please even the lost selective of diners while there was a wide variety of beers, wines and cocktails to choose from. Looking at the entertainment for the week there appeared to be plenty to please every night and I would hope that this superb pub thrives in the future as I will certainly make an effort to return if I am fortunate to find myself in the area again.
