Things to do in Quincy
If you're feeling like a drink and you're looking for a unique place in Quincy...the newest bar/cafe in town just might be the perfect place for you.My wife and I stopped for a night in Quincy while we were returning home from a visit to Lake Almanor. We chose to stay at a place on the main drag because we wanted to be able to walk around and get a feel for the town. It really doesn't take much time to walk from one to the other and check out all the little shops and stores...and a couple of the local watering holes along the way. I have to admit, I love visiting small town, dive bars, but none of the bars we chose to visit seemed too excited about having a couple of tourists hanging around. After we were pretty sure we had them all covered we decided to try the Main Street Sports Bar and Grill. We soon found we had saved the best for last! The first unique quality you will notice when you arrive is that it is actually two very different bars owned by the same extremely friendly couple. The bar upstairs is more of a martini bar. It is small, but stylish and a great place if you're looking for a quiet drink. If you're looking for something larger and a bit more festive, walk down the stairs to the Sports Bar. It is a fairly typical setting with a full bar, flat screen TV's, roomy dance floor, pool table, dart boards, juke box and a pretty good array of pub grub. It wasn't very busy the night we were there (we left before 10) but the patrons who came through tended to be young and socialable. Quite possibly the friendliest people in the place were the 30-something couple who own and operate the establishment. They were an absolute hoot and made our visit a very memorable one.I really don't know when we'll be passing through Quincy again, but I can promise you this...we know exactly which drinking/eating establishment to go to first!
Was just a plain terrible experience will never eat at this subways again the food was awful !!! They need to completely go back to school and learn how to make sandwiches and food again my Italian cheese bread was completely stale hard as a rock. Go and eat at Round Table at least the food is fresh!
We started with the fried cauliflower appetizer. My salad was great. The burgers were looked good. My husband enjoyed this tuna melt.Only down side was the waitress was pretty inattentive. And she stiffed herself on her tip by bring twenties in the change. Had she brought 2 $10s in place of one $20. Her tip would have been bigger.

Belly-warming soup and hearty sandwiches hit the spot on this November lunchtime. We were scouting for Christmas trees (for harvesting in December) and found this place for lunch. Cute little place with nice service. The navy bean soup was very good, as was my turkey sandwich. Simple fare, but it hit the spot!
We ate lunch and breakfast here and the food was yummy. Served nice and hot. Friendly staff to wait on you.

The service was great. My soda cup was never empty. We were attended to often during the meal and our plates cleared immediately following the meal. The burrito was the largest Iâd ever seen.I had the enchiladas and they were amazing, lots of flavor. Also the chips and salsa were tasty and had an authentic flair like the rest of the items we had for lunch. Will return when in the area again.

Not impressed with the food....the salmon burger was not very good....even leaving everything off but the salmon including the bun.....for a small restaurant they do have a nice selection of draft beers, and I did enjoy the one that I ordered.

The food at Sweet Lorraine's is very good. The server's are excellent (KD) and make it a point to insure you are happy with your meal and drinks. When it is very busy you need to be patient - sometimes it takes a bit for them to get your food out. Wine selection is good so relax and enjoy.Outdoor dining in the spring and summer - indoor in the winter.

The food was good (I had Chicken Alfredo) and the service was fair. The prices are reasonable and probably all that a small rural community can bear. The place was only modestly busy, but the service was slow. Maybe that was because we arrived just after opening, but it all seemed a little disorganized.

We had breakfast on our way to Reno. They serve breakfast all day. The food was delicious and there was alot of it. I had a 3 egg omelette with bacon and avocado. The avocado was fresh and the bacon cooked just right. The coffee was good French roast or regular. The service was awesome. Wish I lived closer I would be there often.
