Speckled Hen in Strasburg, PA features craft coffee, espresso, tea and a delicious array of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Specializing in artisan foods that are fresh, local & simple. We are a family friendly restaurant offering unique areas to rel
We stayed at the Carriage House Motel and used our breakfast voucher at the Speckled Hen the next morning. I got the French toast and my son got eggs and hashbrowns. The only reason I docked this place one point was because it took an awful long time for the food to come out and when it did it wasnât hot. It seemed like it had sat there waiting for the waitress to deliver it. Other than that it was enjoyable,

Java Junction Coffee Bar + Grill What started out as a bakery ( formerly OCB Cakes 11.5 west main) has now expanded and moved to a larger space with more to offer! We now serve breakfast and lunch daily. Breakfast is served until noon Wednesday thru Sunda
This is a small local restaurant with really good food and wonderful and friendly service. It also had home made scones, banana and zucchini bread.Everyone in our family of 9 enjoyed their food including the grandchildren. The only negative is they do not serve pancakes or french toast which is what my husband prefers to eat for breakfast.

We had dinner here recently. Beautiful weather, so we sat outside. Very nice.Great food: I had one of the most unique burgers I ever tried..."THAT ITALIAN GIRL," topped with a big hunk of tasty, grilled Italian sweet sausage, broccoli rabe, roasted red peppers, sharp provolone cheese and garlic aioli sauce. Damn, that was good! My partner had crab cakes. Very good, also (although not the best we ever had, but probably the best around here).Add in the good service, and good selection of wines and beers, too...so...highly recommended!Btw, I'm originally from this area, and used to drink here when it was a dingy old bar more than 40 years ago! Great improvement over that!

After traveling all day, we stopped here and hoped to get a really good meal. We were pleasantly surprised. The setup was a bit different when you walked in. Staff was friendly, and attentive. Food was Amazing. When trying somewhere new we always ask "Would you come back?" We both said we would come back again.Side Note: Pizza was a bit on the greasy side, so if you do not like Greasy Pizza this may not be your Favorite, however they have many different other choices. Mozzarella sticks and Marinara was delicious as well.

Great drive-in that's survived the decades in the town of Quarryville. Serving up steak sandwiches with the personal touch (you've got to read the newspaper clipping on the north facing outside wall), it's a touch of Q-ville's homespun charm. Ice cream and shakes round it out. Don't miss it - makes a great summer destination spot from any direction!

This place identifies itself with the slogan âcoffee & Communityâ, and thatâs exactly what it feels like! You must try it for breakfast, lunch (great salad/sandwich menu). Or midday for coffees /teas desserts (which we did). Great antique shop...small but very sweet... right in the same building. And the prices are fair. Donât miss this gem!!

Three of us stopped for breakfast. We all did the buffet and left very full. Buffet consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, scrapple, pancakes, french toast, waffles, sausage gravy, potatoes, grits, fruit, and pastry. You can go back as many times as you want and the final bill was under $18 for the three of us. Everything tasted great. If you don't want the buffet, you can order off the menu. This is a great place off the main road and worth a stop. I would eat here again.

My wifwe and I were driving around Lancaster doing the normal tourist things-- looking for lunch. We stumbled ionto Hometown Kitchen. The Amish girls gave us fabulous service-- with a smile. The food was delicious. I had the soup all home made this morning and the chicken breast sandwich. Awesome meal. I'll go back.
