The Round House Bar is another of the many hot spots for food, beverages and entertainment on the main through fair of Put In Bay. Doing our make shift pub crawl through town one afternoon, we decided to stop in for a beverage and to listen to the music and comedy of Mike "Mad Dog" Adams. I gather that Mad Dog, the "Original Ziggy Zaggy Man" of Put In Bay, has been a regular at Round House, performing there for forty seasons. I understand that he rotates seasons between Put in Bay and Florida, based upon the weather. Mad Dog offers a continuous banter with the crowd, probably not for the sensitive ears of younger children. The afternoon we heard him he was heavy on the banter and jokes, while light on music. My preference would have been toward more singing, but the crowd was enjoying his routine. The bar service was really good. The beverages selections and pricing were also fine. We enjoyed a couple drinks and the crowd as much as Mad Dog. No issues in returning here on a future visit.

This place is on the water with many options to dine. You can sit on a covered patio or at a picnic table next to the water. Itâs cafeteria style and you get your food from one of the windows and choose a table. Water is available at a fountain and you can help yourself. Restrooms are on the boardwalk on your way in. Food is pricey but the scenery is amazing. One bowl of lobster bisque was $9.50. Lots of seafood options available.

I like the Beyond burger in general and they did a good job of that plus some sweet potato fries. My friend and client dining with me though he should have tried it as well instead of his shrimp salad or something along those lines. Good vibe, nice place, decent service and surprisingly good food. It was worth the quick flight over to have lunch!

Stopped here for a quick lunch. We were seated immediately. The waitress was friendly and the service was quick. I ordered fish sandwiches, which were wonderful. Mine was a PoBoy where the fish was deep fried. My husband got the fish Ruben where the fish was steamed. The drinks were good but light on the alcohol. Would return.

Had dinner here, ordered the perch sandwich, which was excellent. All the food was really good. Only objection was the waitress didn't bring me my drink I ordered. Food, however, was really good.Hi THOMAS R, we are so glad that you enjoyed your perch! We also hope that you finally got the drink you ordered after you explained to your server that that there was an error. Please come see us again soon!

Casual Island dinning at its finest! Pasquales Cafe is a family friendly restaurant with fantastic views of Put-in-Bay harbor and the historic downtown. An island tradition where visitors and locals meet to enjoy the best all American breakfasts on the is
Stopped in for breakfast while docked at a nearby marina. They were crowded and we were told there would be a 10 to 15 minute wait for a table - it was really just over 5 minutes. The food was excellent as always! Service was very good throughout our visit.

Being from the Midwest I was craving fresh fried perch so we checked Tripadvisor immediately when we arrived on the island at lunchtime and decided on Topsy Turvey's based on the reviews. Being mid September the island wasn't too busy so there was no wait and there were open tables outside on the deck overlooking the water and the sun was shining! The server (which we were pretty sure she was the owner) was super pleasant and helpful explaining the menu options. Once we made our decision, she told us a single platter would be more than enough perch for the two of us to share for lunch and she was right! Altho a bit expensive, when split between 2 you can't beat the price for the amount of perch- 3 large fillets! The platter came with fries (battered then fried-yum!) and they were great too along side with coleslaw and a pickle. We both walked away full and happy that we had some perfectly cooked, non-greasy, tasty, fresh perch! PS: Their beer menu is pretty extensive too! Boy, did we make the right decision!

Quality food, drinks and entertainment in an island setting
We decided to eat lunch here while in Put In Bay on the recommendation of others, my husband had the perch tacos which were $7.00 a piece for just a tack no fries with it no chips no pickles and they were small so 2 tacos with fries added was over $20.00. I had the ceaser salad that was $13 and that was with no chicken, if you wanted chicken it was an extra $4.00. The food was ok nothing to write a great review about, the inside of the bar was done rustic and had a small place you could buy t-shirts in the corner, I'm sure if you look at other places for lunch on the island you can find a much better place.
