We moved to Hamilton 2 years ago and we love diners so couldn't wait to try this one out! Whole family loves it. We go at least once a week for the comfort food. I love the spinach omelet!! And the grilled cheese with tomato and fries is also a favorite. The wait staff is always nice, friendly and prompt!
This is a typical Subway, but well managed with friendly people. It is partially HIDDEN behind trees and lower bushes on the corner of Main St. and Maple street. The only SIGN that is visible from the corner traffic light is the small SUBWAY sign on the 'strip mall' sign. The LARGER SUBWAY sign on the building is hidden. Tree trimming would help. We passed the place 3 times before finding it.

First time. Wings were pretty good. Meaty. Service was friendly. Menu complicated for me. All the listed sauces come in a small cup for dipping. I read it to mean that the batter or sauce on the chicken had a specific taste. The bill for two for lunch without drinks other than water was $33. A bit pricy for me for chicken wings. Also, comes with veggies which amounted in my case to 2 1/2 prices if celery. That is $17 per person without drinks for lunch in a neighborhood shopping center. Too pricy for my taste. I pay $17 for lunch in the downtown area and get twice the food quantity on real dishes with knife and fork and cloth napkin.
My wife and I stopped here on the way back from visiting local wineries. This family-run place has a variety of fresh produce and temptations that include ice cream, fudge, chocolate, and other snacks. Thereâs a spacious seating area (including a cute chair-and-table area just for little children). The people at the counters were friendly, and there are beautiful vistas behind the building. Virns is a worthwhile stop for area visitors.

Adequate parking, access to a variety of different shops. EZ access from 7 or through town. Not too crowded at the time we stopped. Nice sports decor without being overpowering. Music was a little loud, but for me, itâs always too loud,! We were promptly welcomed and served. I went with the special and my bride went with one of the many specialty burgers. My chili was tasty, my club wrap well made and filling. Burger was also enjoyed. We stuck with tea, but the bar looked well stocked and Iâm sure your beer choice can be accommodated. Definitely worth a stop!

We stopped in at Dominion Tea, and ordered chai, scones, and a cookie. Lydia told us stories about the tea business, and we bought chai and brewers to take home. As we were paying the bill, I asked her about a "founders picture" on the wall. She said it was Robert Fortune, the man the British sent to China to steal tea plants. He did and brought them to India, where they all died. So the Indians showed him the same plants, that were thriving, having been brought to India by animals. That's how the British/Indian Tea business started.

Not at all fancy and just plain basic - can be a lit noisy but who cares when the home cooking plate of food is under your nose. I have eaten there for breakfast and lunch and both times everybody got generous servings and at a reasonable price. Everybody knows everybody but you will feel at home.

As my wife and I transition to the country life at our farm near Hillsboro, while getting our Arlington house ready to sell, we are exploring all the places to eat and dine around the Purcellville area. So far we have encountered some pleasant surprisesâthe latest begin the West End Wine Bar & Pub (WEWBP). Set in a restored early 1900s house/ former inn, the ambiance is terrific and the cuisine even more delightful. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. The back tables look our on the local golf course, and there is a patio for warmer weather. We had the Beet salad (enough to share), the Quail (excellent), and the Halibut (very well prepared and reasonably priced). Weâll be going back again, for sure. Thanks so much for your feedback! We're happy to hear you enjoyed your meal at West End while you explore all the options in the area. Our team always aims to please and we're excited to hear when we succeed. Thank you for your business and we hope to see you again soon!

Smoking Willy is an outstanding BBQ-Plus restaurant with a strong and varied menu and tons of ambiance and rustic but unique decor. The food is terrific, the service friendly and efficient, and the interior welcoming. Itâs easy to miss if you donât already know where it is, but once youâve found and tried it, youâll want to go back. The first time we visited, the staff had gone out to a farmerâs corn field (at his invitation) and picked a volume of fresh, sweet, corn for free. Rather than charge customers, they offered the corn on the cob also free of charge. OMG was it good! (I finagled a second ear). Weâve been back since at off hours and find it relaxing and friendly.

Grandale Vintner's Table offers a dynamic local dining experience, including distinctive tasting, dining and wine paring opportunities. The new concept by Executive Chef Author Clark will continue to showcase local, farm-to-fork fare, but with an exciting
We finally had the opportunity stay and dine while wine tasting, and were not disappointed!! They were debuting a new menu featuring very interesting ingredient combinations. We started by sharing the Short Rib (NC) Poutine with pork butt, white yam spears, pecorino and avocado puree. It was delicious and could have sufficed for my meal. For entrees we ordered the Duck Breast with white bean ragout, asparagus, rosemary oil and apple butter port reduction (Are you drooling yet?!); and the Swordfish with basmati jasmin rice, French green beans, and walnut sage cream sauce. The preparation and presentation were excellent for both. The fish was nicely seared on the outside, but moist, tender and flavorful on the inside. The ingredient flavors for both entrees were very complimentary, and the recommended wine pairings were perfect. Highly recommended as a lunch stop during a wine tasting tour, or for a relaxing dinner after a tour.
