Good sandwich. Staff was friendly . It's in a gas station/ convince store. That's a bonus, gad, snacks, lunch or dinner. Clean place no problems

We arrived at 7:30 in the evening. The restaurant adjoined the property of our hotel. We have been to a Shoney's before, and so we didn't expect gourmet. However, at 7:30 in the evening, the buffet was dry and overcooked. It should have been removed two hours previously. A real waste of money there! The service was poor; the server didn't seem either well trained or interested. A very sad experience and a waste of money. My wife did enjoy her salad and dinner finger roll. I was really hoping for cold and fresh blood peaches. Sadly, lukewarm and almost tasteless.

Traveling through southern Virginia, we found a gem of a resturant in a âmini village settingâ in Draper VA. A charming restaurant in a charming house with a charming porch. The menu is contemporary southern, and they serve breakfast all day. They are open every day but Monday, from 10am to 3pm. We had the Three Pigs Omelet that contain all three pigs, pulled pork, bacon, and ham. A house made sauce of catsup, mustard, herbs, with a slight touch of cayenne drizzled over it......fabulous! We also ordered a egg on a biscuit.....the freshly baked biscuit and their local jam was delicious. Everything in the restaurant is freshly made including all baked good. They have entertainment for Motherâs Day with a specialty brunch. Unfortunately we will be long gone by then..

The food we all had was great!! Service unfortunately not as good. The restroom needs some attention also. We had to retrieve our on tea refill from the bar, An got it with not a drop of ice on it. Really? Not good!!

I used the drive thru @ the local KFC this afternoon (it was raining like crazy or I would have gone inside). There was one car in front of me and I sat 20 minutes waiting to order a container of cole slaw. When I drove around to the window I waited another 5 minutes while they filled the order for the car in front. The person who took my order didn't bother using a welcoming phrase and the only comment from the girl @the counter was the amount I owed, not a thank you, not here's your order, nothing but a blank stare. I have noticed the last few times I have gone by this KFC that the attitude was yuckie but to have to wait that long and have people just this side of rude in a small town will keep me from returning. I guess I will have to find a other cole slaw stop.

Corny title I know. Man! These guys are fast turning out really great burgers and dawgs. We wish we had come earlier to try their breakfasts. 2 egg breakfast is only 3.99. I had the bacon burger and it was delicious and my hubby had chili on his. Toppings added at no charge. We ate for $12.95 with fries and drinks. Staff is super friendly, food great, fast delivery! Worth the I-81 sidetrack on exit 94. Great job Dawg house!!

My friend and I were visiting this local community and looking for a place for dinner. Reviews looked good but I wasn't going with high expectations. Very pleasantly surprised! Al's is located in a charming restored building in the downtown of Pulaski by the river. ( There is a hotel in the same building, we didn't stay there. )I had the Strawberry spinach salad which was HUGE and delicious! On the servers suggestion I added a grilled piece of salmon which was cooked nicely. My friend requires gluten free food and they had a GF menu! She had the grilled chicken breast meal with a large baked potato. She enjoyed their Wedge salad and they had a GF roll that she could eat. There was also many good looking dessert selections including GF but we were both ( took home food ), so full we couldn't sample any. The waitress was delightful, attentive and helpful giving us some directions to various grocery stores. I would definitely recommend dining here! They have outside dining too.
