I had lunch with a friend at Blu Alehouse. Megan was our server. She was very accommodating. We started out being seated outside, which my friend had requested, but since there were no umbrellas for shade and it was quite warm outside, I really needed to move inside. Not a problem. Megan simply reseated us inside to a quiet spot where we could catch up. This place is great for that, since itâs not noisy the way many other restaurants are. My friend suggested the lobster rolls, and since I had never had one, I jumped at the chance. And since the order included two, we shared the order, which also included the restaurantâs homemade potato chips, which were spicy, crispy, and delicious, as was the lobster roll, along with an Arnold Palmer to drink. It was a very nice lunch, and Megan was perfect...no rush, very nice, and was even helpful when we were looking for someplace else for dessert. I would definitely come back.

Hard to believe that more reviews haven't been written on this restaurant. In our stop there this week...⢠The service was above average... fast with order taking and food preparation.⢠But what's there to prepare? Our food was okay â but the portions/pieces were small. VERY SMALL. Also, the beverage fountain is very limited in selection.⢠Prices were excessively steep â and you don't get much. Even after opening our wallets generously, we left hungry!⢠Atmosphere was below average. It's not THAT cold outside yet the restaurant was cold and drafty. (Same hard chairs.)Second visit was poor. Won't have the opportunity to find out if three is a charm. We won't be back.

We invite you to the Wayne Steakhouse to enjoy a classic steakhouse experience rivaled by no other. Former waiter Tony Prelvukaj and cook Tomazs Pogorzelski from Peter Luger's welcome you to experience their take on a classic steakhouse. Offering the fine
This restaurant is surely a diamond in the rough. The location is in a building with a pizza restaurant in the front and a billiard hall upstairs is very unsuspecting of the quality of service and food they provide. It is New York Steakhouse worthy and the prices are as well, except no traffic, tolls or parking costs. Surely a must try for anyone who enjoys a quality steak and all the terrific sides that come with it!

We stopped with a group of three for dinner and for some reason expected typical pub food. Boy were we surprised with the quality of the food and its great taste. Overall, we had three different selections, and all were extremely good. These included the Chicken Pot Pie, the Bangers and Mashed, and the Beef Stew.We are often passing through the area, and we will be sure to eat here again!

Great diner!
We visited Plaza 23 Diner about 9 am Easter morning. The diner was about half-full which I thought was under whelming. Nothing in terms of the décor has really changed. The outside is rather drab and the inside is basically black & white with a lot of glass. Everything is clean with the exception of the carpet which is showing wear. Like the last time I visited with a large party the orders came out in three separate blocks. I ordered the bacon omelet which came with hash browns and your choice of rye, whole wheat or white bread. The three egg bacon omelet was lukewarm. Baskets of bread, muffins and butter preceded the arrival of the orders. I believe the omelet was $6.25 which is a fair price in my opinion. The young waitress was friendly and courteous. The bathroom was clean. I thought it was nice that they brought out a toy for the 3 year. It was a chicken that lays eggs which she enjoyed. It is a solid diner but they still have some issues to resolve.

The outdoor seating area is VERY charming and quiet. But just step inside and you really would have trouble hearing people at your own table--even on a week night. I guess that speaks in favor of the food, which was excellent. I had the fish tacos, which were absolutely delicious, and I heard that the veggie tacos were great as well. Spaghetti Bolognese had a lot of carrots in it and looked good. Service was just fine and the bartender did a good job. We will return, but just in the summer to sit outside.

The Little Food Inn is a byob restaurant located in Pompton Plains New Jersey. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with an eclectic menu serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beginning at 10:00 am, the menu features breakfast and lunch items. There is a huge selection of egg dishes, omelettes, pancakes, bagels and muffins as well as lunch options such as salads, wraps, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers and more. My wife and I have eaten here many times but this was our first time for dinner. The dinner menu begins at 5:00 pm and also is varied. The menu features seafood, pasta, burgers, sandwiches and comfort food such as meatloaf, turkey, pot pie and more. My wife and I shared an appetizer of calamari in a chili sauce. The calamari was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. My wife chose swedish meatballs over egg noodles and I the chicken pot pie over gnocchi and topped in a puff pastry. It was full of chicken, vegetables in a savory gravy. We finished with a decadent flourless chocolate cake. The Little Food Inn is a great place for creative cuisine or comfort food. Give it a try.

Pompton Queen Diner is a family-owned and operated diner since 1987. Pompton Queen is not your typical diner. Our modern and clean restaurant, outdoor patio, and extensive menu landed us as one of the top diners to eat in New Jersey. Our service is specta
After a business meeting we ordered takeout at this diner. A year ago we visited this diner and the food and service was great. This time we ordered breakfast entrees including eggs, toast and waffle combo. It was absolutely horrible and uneatible. The scrambled eggs were hard, no toast was included, the sausage was turkey sausage with a bad taste, and the waffle batter had too much water. The dessert was supposed to be tiramisu, but it wasn't. All in all, we were not able to eat this meal and were extremely disappointed. I do not recommend this diner. What you're describing sounds like a far cry from the delicious diner classics we've made our name on -- I'm concerned that this was your experience. Everything you ordered, from the scrambled eggs to the waffles, should have been incredible, and if it wasn't, we want to know about it so we can do our best to make it right in the moment. I hope we can get another chance to impress you, showing you the food you loved from us a year ago. Best, Sam M.
