Reviews on American food in Pocatello, Idaho, United States. Surrounded on three sides by snow-capped mountains, Pocatello is a beautiful small city in the heart of eastern Idaho. The unspoiled wilderness in and around the city is perfect for cross country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter or hiking and biking in the summer. The Pontneuf River Greenway running through town is popular for jogging and strolling in warmer climes. For a more cultured vacation, try any of the city's theaters, dinner museums or outdoor bandshells for live entertainment.

My wife and I tried this restaurant while stopped in town and was pleasantly surprised at both the excellent food and top rate service. No complaints about anything. Kaylea provided some of the best service we have received at any Red Lobster. If we lived here, we would go back on a regular basis.Thank you for giving the Pocatello Red Lobster 4 stars, John, we look forward to giving you a 5 star experience next time.

Just needed a place to rest up and get some food after a long day on the road. The food was nothing special but the service was friendly and prompt. I think the best part was the price...2 meals for $21! Best price weâve seen anywhere.

Just as any Applebee's, larger groups may have to wait. This was not any better than any Applebee's I had been to and certainly not any worse.Staff was friendly and helpful.

Jakers Bar and Grill, Pocatello, IDI went to Jakers for dinner because it was near my hotel and had favorable reviews. I was not disappointed. There was available seating so I didn't have to wait. Service was quick and friendly. Their wide selection of draft beer came in 16 or 25 oz mugs. Their menu is extensive. Their web page lists items for vegans, low carb, etc. I got the brisket with a Caesar salad. The food was good. The place was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. Prices were fair for being a little up scale establishment. Nearby hotels have 10% discount cards. This place was barefoot friendly.Thank you for the positive review! we strive to offer great service and a variety of menu items for all our guest, in the best possible environment. we are looking forward to a new great experience.

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margar
I was visiting Pocatello and decided to check out one of my favorite restaurants - Texas Roadhouse. Since I was alone I elected to sit at the bar. The two bartenders went out their way to take care of me. Surprisingly the place was not busy - perhaps because it was Labor Day Weekend. The rolls were excellent. The steak was good, but seemed a bit dry. The two sides were excellent.

The food was average, very carb heavy with large portions. Husband had biscuits and gravy and mentioned that it was pretty bland. I had an omelet that consisted mainly of hashbrowns, minimal meat, veggies, and cheese. Scones are great and big....like I said...this place is a carb lovers dream!! Definitely not the cleanest place out there, but Iâve seen worse!

Butter Burrs is located in Pocatello Idaho. It is a local business where the locals eat. Service was a little slow but friendly. We tried substitute hash browns did a fruit option but we were told that the only fruit was apple sauce. I ordered the eggs âBurradictâ which was a messy version of eggs Benedict. It was covered under a ton of buttery hollandaise and then topped with cheese. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes. The omelet came as an egg folded with the veggies inside, but not actually cooked in. It was as if they were added to the eggs as a afterthought. The scrambled eggs were a little greasy too. I would have rather had the free breakfast at the Hampton Inn this morning.

A Northwest favorite since 1960. Our 25 locally owned Elmer's Restaurants take pride in their communities and source local, farm-fresh ingredients.
Our 2nd time here. Passing through town, need lunch. Let's try it again. Easy to find, right across from ISU. Not a huge parking lot but we've never had a problem finding a spot.We were greeted promptly and courteously and the place looked quite busy. Our table was clean, as was the dining area. They also have a counter if you're into that. The menu is typical of a coffee shop/ diner with some added goodies. Prices are about right on the mark for what I've seen. We each ordered a lunch and an iced tea. Quick service, good tasty food, great portion sizes. For great friendly service, very good food, a clean place, and solid prices...a 5 again!Morning,We truly thank you for your feedback and are glad to see you enjoyed your visits to Elmerâs. We love hearing from our Guests and we send each review directly to the restaurant management to be seen. Hope to see you again soon!Kolten LindseyOnline Media ManagerElmer's Restaurants, [email protected]

While passing through town we enjoyed a delightful Saturday lunch here. The décor is post-industrial and a bit dark. Both my sandwich and my wife's salad were tasty and well made. The bread is apparently house-made from spent brewery grains. I enjoyed the well-balanced Belligerent Ass brown ale - which I had to have because of what some say is a passing resemblance. Our server was very personable, but perhaps a bit less prompt. Prices seemed reasonable.

The first inkling of an idea for the Sandpiper Restaurants came to original founder Bob Angell as he lounged on the beaches of California. While attending college he enjoyed watching the sandpipers darting in and out of the surf, and after graduation Bob
The two types of steaks we ordered were very tasty and done to our preferences. I ordered the house salad, as an accompaniment. It was a great little shrimp and nut salad. All in all, the meals were delicious, but I would have appreciated larger beef portions for the price.
