In 2018 we began our Plovdiv odyssey. Now, one thing you ought to know about Plovdiv is the whole city is alive with the spirit of ailyak (eye-lyak). What it is, you ask? Think of ailyak as siestaâ¦but without all the stress. Now that you are all caught up

Small and cozy space in the heart of Plovdiv's trendy creative district Kapana. Gastropub Multi Culti aims to enrich the culinary map of Plovdiv by offering street food from all around the globe, but sit down setting. While here don't forget to taste our
The location is perfect - in artistic part of the city - Kapana district. The interior is comfy and the staff very friendly.About the food....there is not much of the choice, especially if you are vegetarian as I am. The tomato soup and the greek salad were delicious, but the portions were kind of small. I found the place pricey for what they offer. I don't think I am going to visit the place again anytime soon.

After reading these good opinions we decided to order here... all looked good outside BUT the meat was disgusting, containing bones, hard and pale in color. I wouldnât give it to a dog. After few bites I couldnât do it anymore so I left it. Still feeling sick from it. Terrifying bad

American cuisine - Salads, Starters, Burgers, BBQ, Tacos, Burritos, Desserts and etc.
Located in the Kapana district this is one of the several places where you can have high-end burgers. Small, cozy and unpretentious it offers modern take on burgers and ribs , coupled with tasty salad ideas and nice, extended selection of beers. The place is small and it service is relatively quick and friendly. Price-wise it is on the medium-high side for the city, but pretty cheap for a tourist (6 euro for a burger is quite a deal). The beers however are quite expensive (3 euro for a Duvel) or 3.5 for a Chimay almost matches the prices if you go to a regular pub in Belgium...Still worth the visit if you are up for burgers and you are in the areaZzzz
Where to eat Central European food in Plovdiv: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Modern restaurant design, excellent food and drinks, well mannared and friendly staff of professionals, park view, quiet and cozy place, perfect for family meetings, kids and pets, celebration or just dinner/lunch with friends. Everybody is welcome!
We were so lucky to run across this restaurant on our way up to the Alyosha monument. As it was quite hot we chose an outdoor table in the shady garden where we had a delicious lunch in the gentle "southern breeze" (that's what the restaurant's name means in Bulgarian - Южен ÐолÑÑ ). It is a restaurant for meat-lovers, portions are big but some are really huge and must be shared. Tasty dishes, reasonably fast service (the restaurant was full at lunch-time), smiling waiting staff and affordable prices make this place awesome. Highly recommended!
