Ate here several years ago and the food was very good even if the service was lackluster. In town again and decided to give it another try. After being seated, it took 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. It didnât seem as if the servers had an assigned area, it was random that someone decided to wait on a table. After ordering our food (a small pizza, wings, toasted ravioli and salad) it took 50 minutes to get salad and ravioli. The pizza arrived shortly after that. The food was all good, especially the pizza. 2 other families walked out while we waited. We wonât be back and thatâs too bad because I like the food.

Fabulous selections. Everything we had was excellent... starting with the Salmon Lettuce cups! Yum! California Burger was a mile high! Bacon wrapped Trout was Smokey and fresh. Both wraps ordered were quite plentiful so we are looking forward to leftovers!!! Service was just right ... there when you needed them and not intrusive. Will definitely return.

Our goal at Wine Down is to provide the most relaxing environment that we can, while offering over 40 by the glass pours of wine, price range between $6 - $32 a glass. We also offer everything by the bottle. We serve craft beers in bottles and cans with a
This is a âGemâ of a find, literally! I stepped in out of the rain to ask a totally unrelated question and in 30 mins. was back with my Mom for a delightful dinner! We had a Brie appetizer and a delightfully light Zen wine! Then, I had a cup of pumpkin soup (yummy), as did my Mom. I had a flatbread, custom made to my allergies, while my Mom had a turkey panini!Such a quaint and relaxing place! Our dinner can be attributed to Tristin, who was the young lady who had helped me with my earlier random question(s). She also catered to our every need at dinner!!!!My shoutout is to TRISTIN â¼ï¸â¼ï¸â¼ï¸I wish I had taken some pictures to add!!!

A downtown Brevard, NC restaurant since 1993. Delicious food, comfortable atmosphere, and great service are all part of The Falls Landing experience.
My wife and I had dinner here while staying in Brevard over labor day weekend. I had the fresh fish, while my wife had the fresh trout. Both dinners were seasoned well but cooked slightly over cooked so they were somewhat dry. The service was fast, friendly and attentive.

Located in a beautifully restored historic building...down a quiet alley in the heart of Downtown Brevard, The Square Root Restaurant is as well known for its architectural and artistic decor as it is for its fabulous food. Whether you're hoping to enjoy
Went there and was told that it is reservations only. Although only half the tables were actually occupied, we made a reservation for the following night. So, on Wednesday we went back. The restaurant is small, raw brick walls, cement floors and a collection of rough, square wooden tables and chairs. Food was fair though overpriced. Service was good. Frankly, it is had to understand why this place has so many 5-star reviews. Come on, it is a hole in the wall joint that thinks it is a grand experience with gourmet food - NOT.Hi,Are you sure you dined at the Square Root in Brevard, NC. We do not have a cement floor. From time to time you may walk in to see an empty table or two. However, we do stay pretty booked up so that can be misleading. We always suggest making reservations, it isn't required but it is recommended. I understand this isn't optimal but we do offer a bar, or a really convenient wait system that allows our guest to roam around the shops until they are paged. We have so many five star reviews because we do our best to provide our guest with the best food, service, and ambiance. I wasn't aware of that I had a guest having such a terrible experience. I would have tried to rectify the situation and turned your time around. Please use any of the chances the server comes over and checks on you to state your complaint. We would love to have the chance to wow you again.Thank you,Jacob

As soon as you walk in the door, you feel like you've entered a family kitchen. From the service to the food - it's all down home. We opted for the salad/food bar. This night featured fresh salad, ham, fried (lightly) flounder, sweet potatoes, green beans, and much more. All was good. We recommend after a day on the Parkway, stop here!

This was my first time going. Small menu but good options. I had the smoked sausage sandwich. Good flavor and nice smokiness to the sausage. Reasonable price. The platters are one meat with 3 sides. I didnt go this route as I would prefer more protein vs sides. Nice beer selection. Great atmosphere and great bartender, she was very attentive and had recommendations for a newbie. I will definitely be back.

A tradition since 1942, Rocky's Grill & Soda Shop is a Brevard, North Carolina landmark. Step into Americana and belly up to the lunch counter for homemade food and dairy delights. Rocky's old-fashioned goodness will bring back sweet memories while we are
My wife and I had lunch here while staying in Brevard. It's an old timey soda fountain with really good hot dogs (chili, cheese and slaw) a good malted and friendly counter service. Have lunch here, you won't regret it.

Our evening was warmed by the fire and the great service. We all ordered something different so we could taste everything. We liked everything and the wine was great also. This is a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy a good meal.

We ate lunch there during the week, so they weren't terribly busy. Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in any hurry that day, so it wasn't a big deal. My husband and I had the small BBQ plates. The BBQ was good, as was the fried okra and it was plenty of food. My only complaint is the ladies restroom was nasty. I even had serious reservations about even eating there after going into the restroom. This is the only reason I can't give them 5 stars.
