Located upstairs in the Casino, Lone Wolf Restaurant & Lounge features luxury and comfort combined with approachable entrees focused on local quality ingredients and precise execution. The lounge offers fine liqueurs and spirits, a great variety of Califo
If I can this is where I chose to eat while at the casino. Steaks have always been great along with the side dishes. The service has been great also. There is a little something for everyone on the menu.Thank you for your review! We are so happy you love Lone Wolf Restaurant and Lounge!
They deep fry their chicken fried steak rather than pan or griddle fry like they used to be. But, a tidy, place with good service and good food. Outside seating as wellThey do charge an extra 3% on all credit cardsLiked it

We were at the Black Chasm cave national monument. The friendly and knowlegable staff person gave us food choices in VolcanoHis grandfather was the famous Bob the bartender. He said to give Bob as good as we got to keep him on his toes. Great funAnd the food was good alsoHe told us the place had burned down three times but the bar itself had survived

The Establishment is old and rustic. But the food was fabulous. Take in consideration there was one person manning the store and the counter. So service was a little slow, but the atmosphere is so nostalgic that I didn't even realize the time it took. Awesome goodness
This cafe is absolutely wonderful. The food is amazing. It tastes so good and pretty much everything is home made. The Avocado toasts are a delight and so is everything else we've tried. The coffees is great as well. But what's even better is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful and they provide absolutely top notch service. Thank you so much.

Perhaps we should give Mace Meadows a few more chances but then again, maybe not. Our visits since they reopened have been real disappointments. The food is not fresh, none of the menu items are particularly interesting or unique, and the service is spotty and inconsistent. We've tried it for breakfast - mediocre - better to go to Blue Moon, Pearl's, or Black's Station. We tried lunch which was largely tasteless, and we tried dinner - frozen fish overcooked, overcooked vegetables and service that left a lot to be desired. We know they had start up issues, but hoped they would get better. So far, that's not the case.

Comfortable family restaurant. Fireplace dinning. Set back in the trees...
We were returning from wine tasting in Amador County and stopped at Black Station Inn on hwy 88 for what we thought would be a quick bite before returning home to Nevada. Bottom line, we had such a great dinner and time with the owners and guests, we decided to spend the night. The owners, Craig and Chris were great hosts. We were welcomed immediately mid-afternoon on a Sunday. The kitchen wasn't fired up for dinner just yet, but Craig immediately presented us with the evening menu and return to the kitchen to get things going. I had the mango glazed salmon and my friend had the NY strip. They serve both a soup, roasted red pepper that night, and a salad, included with dinner. The salmon was fork tender with mushroom rice and the steak was perfectly cooked with a nice baked potato. The fireplace was going along with good fun and conversation with the hosts, and guests. The lodging is a large cabin with four bedrooms, each with their own bath. The common area has a full with kitchen, TV, and fireplace, all recently decorated in a mountain/country style. There are many places to stay along hwy 88, but you won't find any so welcoming with great food and the comfy feel of a B&B. We will return for the wonderful lodging, then dine on their fresh seafood specials as we learned of direct sourcing of Salmon, Albacore and Dungeness crab when in season. You can't beat a place with a "locals" feel that's so charming with great food and such welcoming host and accommodations. We both work hard at making everyone feel welcome. Glad you enjoyed the meals and the stay at our newly renovated lodge. Our business has been going strong thanks to all the great customers we are getting. See you again soon!

Our breakfast here was.... adequate. They were very busy but our service was good. The menu is HUGE with many choices of HUGE food. My breakfast sandwich was pretty good but really nothing special. Itâs an interesting building with lots of history but the good was uninspired. A good place to go if you want a LOT of mediocre food.

We pulled in just as they were closing, interrupting cleaning and family time. They reopened for us so my friend and I could get coffee and baked goods. Absolutely amazing service and kindness we wont forget!!! We really needed the caffeine and sugar for our drive home, everything else we passed was closed, and they really saved the day <3 . The cinnamon buns were AMAZING.

This was a birthday celebration. The weather was beautiful and the outside seating a typical, charming Gold Country setting. The restaurant slowly became busy and the personnel slowly became stressed. It seemed like they needed more personnel. We ordered drinks and proceeded to each order appetizers and entrees. After a longer wait than usual, my husbands appetizer arrived, not delivered by our waitress. We did not like that the appetizers weren't served at the same time. Mine was a warm dish, but I decided to wait for my husband's dish. THIRTY MINUTES LATER, we were informed by the waitress, that she had misunderstood our order and put my husband's dish as an entree. Again, a wait for his appetizer. Unacceptable! Our entrees also took a long time to arrive. We finally asked for the check, the waitress took the card and after a long wait again, came back with the check, but it hadn't been run! Again, we wait and when the check finally arrives, there is no copy! One positive thing: I had informed about my husbands birthday, and desserts were serve with a candle on his. Cute! All in all, this dinner took as long as a prefix in a Michelin star restaurant.
