The 1895 Grille at the historic Holly is a Four-Star dining experience in every way. Serving breakfast and dinner, this intimate fine dining room features an exceptional menu straight from Carolina Farms to our tables. Our award-winning chefs also prepare
We were disappointed with our dinner at the 1895 Grille. They need to train the wait staff, so that food is served timely - not lukewarm and dried out on a re-heated plate - or to have dessert plates on hand when presenting the warm chocolate soufflé. A nice smile doesn't make up for inferior service. We split a salad (beets hard to find); I had halibut which was served with fried veggies, much too strong a flavor for the fish. My husband had his favorite, veal chop, which was overcooked. They were out of our St. Emilion wine so we had another selection. It didn't feel like a four-star restaurant, despite its reputation.

Elliotts On Linden is a fine yet casual dining restaurant with a gourmet, farm to table philosophy. Perfect for romantic evenings, special occasions, and business meetings, Elliotts provides a relaxing yet elegant atmosphere. The casual side of Elliotts,
EOL is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere in NC and we fortunate to have it right around the corner from our house. We are rather frequent visitors here and I will say without reservation that the quality of the food here is on par with Michelin starred restaurants I have visited in the past - but, without the BS and pretense that comes with them. We absolutely love being able to eat an exceptional meal in the bar area even without making a reservation. First, the food is always fresh, highly locally-sourced and of exceptional quality, preparation and presentation. There is a rotating menu based on season and ingredient availability, however, there are core dishes that are mainstays. I absolutely love the Bison filet - it is my 'go-to.' The Tuna Tart is almost always on the appetizer short list. Second, the service is always superb. Even as the staff has changed over time, there is a level of detail and service that is being clearly being communicated by Mark - and it shows. We have never had a problem that wasn't dealt with immediately. If you ask, it will happen.Third, while not an "inexpensive" restaurant for some people, the quality-to-price level at EOL is a bargain compared to many other local "fine dining" locations. IN fact, I'll go as far to state that Elliot's on Linden should be a destination for any foodie who is traveling through the area - it really is that good.Thank you so much for your kind words and great review and recommendations. Your review was well thought out. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with usâand we agree, Chef Elliott is truly one of a kind! My team and myself really count us lucky for customers like you. We look forward to seeing with you again in the future! Cara Edwards | General Manager

Owners are always there and food is excellent. Great breakfast choices and would definitely suggest the blueberry pancakes.

Situated on the veranda overlooking the historic 18th hole of Pinehurst No. 2, The Deuce features made-from-scratch cuisine in a relaxed setting. Featuring an open-air bar, our newest restaurant offers the best view of the famed course's historic finishin
The Deuce is located just behind the eighteenth green at iconic Pinehurst #2 - the scene of major golf championships over the years. Park in the large visitors lot and make the longish walk to the front door of the Resort (there is a separate members door to the left). Walk long the inside hallway and view pictures and memorabilia of significant events held at Pinehurst. We even found ourselves in a shot of the 18th on Sunday of the 2014 US Open. The Deuce is at the end of the hall to the left and across from the pro shop. We arrived at 7:30PM on a Thursday evening and the place was nearly empty. We elected to sit outside and enjoy the early evening and to view the course. Thy have a long and good draught beer menu while the food menu is along the lines of "pub food". No problem.I ordered a beer and burger (can't go wrong there) and the beer arrived cold and tasty. The burger came a bit later and it was immediately disappointing. The menu describes the burger as a blend of short ribs and brisket. Sounded good to me! But the reality was different. I thought the taste was "funny" and off-putting. A regular beef burger would have been a better choice (there was not that option). Two others with us also had a burger and felt the same. In our group - no one expressed much positive about their meal...Just average was the group's assessment. So - I'd suggest just going to The Deuce for a cocktail or two, relax in a rocking chair by the 18th green, and soak in Pinehust #2 while imagining the roars you'd hear on a championship late afternoon. Then...go somewhere else for dinner!

Named for the 1951 Ryder Cup held at Pinehurst, this casual restaurant and bar surrounds you with history. Located in the Carolina Hotel, The Ryder Cup's unique menu includes classic American fare with a twist. From the unforgettable Deconstructed Nachos
Staying at the Carolina we loved the Ryder Cup room and went there for drinks many times. On certain nights they even have music out on the patio, great place.

We were part of a large group on a Saturday evening. In mid-September it was pretty hot, but the wait staff coped well. Salad was fresh and the dressing excellent. Pork Osso Bucco was excellent, falling off the bone as it should. Polenta and gremolata salad were very interesting, and the crispy brussel sprouts done well. Maple and pecan salmon was delicious and perfectly cooked. Bourbon mashed sweet potato was great. Dessert was good, too. If we are back in town we will eat here again.

Step back in time in Pinehurst's most expansive dining room, offering breakfast and dinner daily. Executive Chef Thierry Debailleul's amazing menu features hand-selected aged beef and signature dry seasoning rub for our steaks and chops. Menus change seas
We had dinner at The Carolina Dining Room because we were on the Donald Ross golf package at the Pinehurst Resort. The dinner we had was fantastic. The dinner was nicely prepared, beautifully presented and very tasty. The menu had a good variety to it, the service was attentive and the ambiance was perfect.
