We stopped in for dinner, and enjoyed the experience. This is an old-school, small town family-restaurant; offering decent food, at down-home prices. Our server, Arica, was friendly and attentive. She said it was her first day, but she served us like seasoned staff. We both had the perch dinner, which included a side and full salad bar; quite a good deal. The perch was decent (though we like a bit less breading), and the salad bar was excellent. There was a nice selection of fresh items from which to choose; with the homemade soups being especially tasty (the potato salads also being quite nice). This establishment is a very solid option; if one is wanting good homestyle cooking, at a reasonable price.

Had a late breakfast there today with a friend. The food was good and it was delivered quickly. Had 2 eggs, 2 giant slices of buttered wheat toast, 3 links of sausage and american fries with onions for under 7 bucks. Can you beat that?
A Subway is a Subway. The distinguishing feature of this one is how professional and competent the crew is. The store is always clean and that includes the spotless restrooms. In addition to being competent, the crew is very friendly.

We stopped by here on rainy Saturday and this place does not disappoint. We had heard it was good and it is. I had a Hawaiian burger and loved it. I don't like pineapple on my ham and I don't like it so much on my pizza and it is grilled perfectly here and makes for an awesome burger. I recommend the milkshake stout on tap. It paired well with the burger and is a great beer on its own. The loaded waffle fries did lack something but may be a good choice if you ask for a side of sour cream with them. The bar was clean and not loud. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. I defiantly would go there again.

It seems the whole world goes to Sportys for wings. They must have 40 different ones. We are not wing specialists. Our idea of wings is one orders some and they come fried with some seasoned breading. Well, we ordered 'wings' here and they had nothing on them and were tough. Will we go back, probably not. But if you're not from Mars, keep going to Sportys. They must have the best.

Purtell's is a family restaurant with an extensive selection of Ashby's ice cream. Any place know for the kitchen sink ice cream bowl is clearly not fine dining. Breakfast served until 4 PM sounded good to one in the party, so we selected Purtell's for our Saturday lunch. It was busy, but far from packed. Our waitress took our order and largely disappeared. Tables near us filled and emptied with no sign of our meals. When she did reappear, we asked about our food. She disappeared into the kitchen and in about 5 minutes we had our plates. Omelette was large and well prepared. Signature steak sandwich was very good. It is served on thick cut bread, toasted, not on a bun. All were pleasant, just wished for a little quicker pace.
