Just came back from a day trip to Grass Valley. Based on reviews I stopped in for an early lunch. Had the bacon & blue burger - excellent! After the event I was attending, I went back for a late dinner and had the smoldering pine burger - even better!!! I couldn't resist trying the sweet potato fries. So glad I got them. They are thick, flavorful and nicely seasoned. I don't get burgers very often but if they all tasted like these I would. The bacon in itself was a treat. Service was friendly. A bit of a wait for dinner but they were busy and working hard so I didn't mind the wait. I wish they were in Reno but then again glad they aren't. It would be too tempting too eat too much too often!

Since 1983, we have shared recipes from the Cirino Family Kitchen, to locals and visitors alike, beginning in Nevada City and expanding our operation to Grass Valley in 2003. We have been honored with being voted more "Best Of" awards than any other busin
My husband and I made reservations for ourselves on a Friday. The restaurant was busy, but our table was ready and our server was on point! I had the sole that was on special and enjoyed every bite! My husband had the gorgonzola steak. We both enjoyed our meals immensely, loved the atmosphere, and the staff was delightful! Will be back! Thank you, ngremmy, for your 5 star review. We are so appreciative of your complimentary words. For 36 years, we have been driven to give it our very best and your review validates our efforts. Thank you for the honor of coming in and for taking the time to share your experience.

I came, based on the good Trip Advisor reviews. Usually, they're pretty accurate. But not tonight. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I wanted to sit on the patio, but was told only inside seating was available (although half of the outside tables were empty). I was attended to promptly by both my waitress and a bus boy. I ordered the Cajun BBQ Prawns. I asked for the garlic (as a listed ingredient) to be light. The garlic was light, but anyone that has eaten real Cajun food in Louisiana would tell you is wasn't Cajun. Cajun cooking uses spices to enhance the flavor, not to be the flavor. I needed 3 diet Cokes and 2 glasses of water to calm the excessive spiciness down. So, I can't recommend this food item.

On this night it should have been named " Tacky Room"It wasn't busy when we arrived with reservations, they had no idea that we were coming or where to seat the five of us. Finally seated, drinks ordered, drink service OK, not good or great. Dinner ordered, off to the salad bar we go, salad bar OK, without much imagination. We waited, talked, waited, talked, on and on, finally our waitress appeared to tell us that they were short on pork chops so couldn't fill our orders, what else would we like? After discovering that they had 5 of the 6 pork chops needed we convinced her that 5 would be fine, and, could we please eat sometime soon? The saving grace was the friendly and helpful bartender who upon discovering our plight brought a round of drinks all around, apologized profusely, and offered dessert which we brought home, the above on the house. She kept checking to see if/when we got food and if everything else was OK.Finally, the food arrives, it's late, we are past hungry so our food opinion is worthless, seemed OK.Have eaten here before, was good, this night was terrible.

Clean fast service locally grown vegetables, eggs are solid gold color, not thepale yellow of factory eggs, Large portions, low prices for the area. Plenty of parking for RV's. Interesting shopping center with Hospice Thrift Storeand other shops. Limited to breakfast and lunch servings. Major supporter oflocal community activities.

Great place for Happy Hour and evening music. The menu is Mexican food. The small plates make for a light dinner. There are out side fire pits so fun for groups. This restaurant is 1 block from the beach.

A family business that supports many worthwhile community groups, projects, and local teams. Players offers this and taste pizza too. Be sure to look for the weekly special which offered at a reduced price. If you like sports, there a special space for you with an sports event on a large TV. Nut if you're like me and would rather eat in more peace space. You will find plenty of seating.

I go to Blue Cow all of the time. I live in PV and honestly, I haven't had a better sandwich anywhere in Nevada County. The prices may have gone up a bit with the new owners? They're still commensurate with the portions and quality of consistently yummy food. Admittedly, I prefer the old layout to the remodel, but the food is ostensibly the same, which is why I keep coming back.

Twelve 28 Kitchen A warm & comfortable social gathering place where our passion is on food that we make from the heart and the people we get to enjoy it with! We source local ingredients when possible as well as local craft beers and wine. We look forward
Creative menu, nice atmosphere, super friendly service but food steals the show. Smashed potato appetizer was hot and tasty with spicy drizzle. We ordered pork belly with polenta and brussel sprouts and chicken and dumplings as our entree selection. Both were off the charts for flavor and presentation, portion sizes were reasonable. Some interesting ipa selections as well.
