Some of the best drive up local food you'll ever eat. The fritz (fries) are made of real potatoes, hot and seasoned to perfection. The frikadelle (Dutch sausage) is on a great pretzel bun from end to end, and the sauces with onion's are out of this world. All fresh, all locally sourced. Service is quick, the little Blue stand is nicely located. The Ice cream and cheeses options along with other meat sandwich choices are also local, and where else can you get pofferjee's (Dutch festival treats) when it isn't Tulip Time!! We eat there two or three times a month.
Our hotel did not have a good continental breakfast so we decided to try the local HyVee because of previous stops at other Hy-Vee's in Missouri. This appears to be an older Hy-vee store but it was clean and put out a very good breakfast. The only negative point is it took about 20 minutes to get our food. The food was very tasty. I had the Denver omelet and the hash browns and it was a great value. If you are on a budget and looking for a very good breakfast this is the place to stop.

This brand new Arby's was great, everyone was super friendly. The only thing that was a bit different was that they keep the iced tea in the back, not out where the other beverages are. I'm a mixer, (yes, that guy), so I like to do half-and-half iced tea and half something else. Sure, I could have asked for half of a glass, but.. Other than that totally minor thing, the food was great.
We regularly eat at Culvers after eating at one in Wisconsin 20 years ago. This is the first time that we were disappointed. Stopped after an event at the high school around 8:30 in the drive thru on a Thursday night. Staff was slow and didn't care. I ordered a double melt and they delivered a single melt. When I said something they said sorry, I guess we could make another. As we were in a hurry and they only charged for a single we let it go. Also ordered 2 different mixers, one pumpkin spice and a salted caramel. Both were quite a bit from full. When the window person was handing them out she had to sniff one to identify it and said she thought it was the salted caramel. When my wife tasted it it was also pumpkin spice. We asked for the correct one and they made one. It seemed as though no management was present. I will not go to this Culvers again but will other ones. Culvers is usually excellent.
Visit a Dutch-front Pizza Ranch! We have the best pizza and chicken in town with our full-service buffet and menu options. Enjoy salads, sides, starters, and dessert-like our famous Cactus Bread®! Perfect for families and groups, our American West restaur
Food was good, but restaurant could not seem to keep up with demands from crowd - not packed by any means. Our group had reservation so they knew we were coming. Probably about 100 people in restaurant when we were there. From size and tables, should have been able to accommodate at least twice that number. Kept running out of fried chicken, one of their features.

I don't know if it was just a bad Saturday night but we had a bad experience here. The food took 45 minutes to come out and the waitress didn't provide an update until about 5 minutes before the food came out. Others who came in after were served before us. Then when the food did come out I saw them drop the ranch and honey mustard on the floor and continued out with the food and didn't replace the ranch and honey mustard. Because the waitress doesn't bring out the food she didn't know the issue and the person who dropped the ranch and honey mustard went back and cleaned it up but didn't replace. Also they put this little machine on the table and I punched a couple of buttons and then was charged for playing a game. There isn't any warning that there is a charge for this game they place on your table. The portions were light on the shrimp stir fry I had. Rather than complain we left as soon as we finished.

While travelling out West, we gave Windmill Cafe a try for a late lunch because of its good reviews here. Oh, boy, this place deserves its good reviews. The service could not have been any more friendly or prompt. And the food was excellent. Husband had the pork roast special, and I had a cheeseburger. Just perfect.

A unique Meat Market specializing in delicious, made on site smoked meats. Ring Bologna with a recipe tradition that spans over 150 years. A wide variety of beef sticks and beef jerky as well as dried beef and summer sausage. Stop in for a nice steak, bur
The minute we opened the door we knew we were in heaven. So many flavors of smoked jerky. Probably a hundred choices of cheeses, ring bologna and Dutch pretzels. Great things to purchase to add to our cooler and for a picnic lunch. Thank you for your review! We appreciate your business and to take time to share your thoughts!

Didn't care for the crust at it was VERY crisp. (reminded me of Shingle Bread) The amount of topping on the House Special was great and flavors combined well. Could have used more cheese. This is a fairly large place with a large back room. Good service!
