In 1985, Jim Mellody dreamed up the idea of a family friendly restaurant, a neighborhood pub where friends and families could gather to enjoy good food and sports in a fun, comfortable atmosphere. Together, with his wife Jeanette, they embellished the Bra
Hadn't ever eaten at a Beef O'Brady's before, and I usually don't want to review chains on TripAdvisor unless there's something special (or unspecial) about the location.Well, my impression of Beef O'Brady's from this location is that they do quite good food and drinks. Our service was great, my poblano chicken lettuce wraps were tasty (tho' you can't really eat them as wraps, more like a salad), and my locally brewed craft on draft was fine. But the location here is awesome--their rear deck faces Duck Creek where Helena has build a little low dam that produces a lovely waterfall. If weather permits, try your best to sit where you can appreciate that ambiance.

I travel for work. I frequently reference Tripadvisor to seek top rated or unique places to eat. Highland Gourmet offers both. There is nothing wrong with doing one thing, if that one thing is perfect. Order an assortment of scones, take them to your coworkers, watch everyone smile after the first bite and as they ask what a scone is. I will absolutely return when I visit from Atlanta.

Saw reviews and was a recommendation from nearby business. Yes food was good, menu had a good variety of items, some were saltier than those at the table preferred, other foods were perfectly seasoned. Was there for lunch, glad we got there early, by 11:40 there was a wait. Parking lot looks big, but was overflowing by noon time. Bathrooms were clean. Servers were excellent. Yes it was loud, when place was full.

Back in 2004, Kash along with some classmates had decided to plan a restaurant for their senior level marketing class at UAB. The project took the full course of the semester and after several grueling months of research they came up with an idea to start
As a native of south Louisiana , I was disappointed. The boiled crawfish was not good. They were large, however, did not taste good. Seasoning was not in boil, it was sprinkled on top. Will never order that again. Fried green tomatoes w crab meat needed more sauce. Crab topping was dry and tasteless. The Cajun Seafood House in Vestavia Hills is much better and with true Cajun authentic taste.

Whenever I was in Hoover visiting, this was one friendâs favorite spot to grab lunch. It seems to be a quite popular place based on customers filling their tables. I usually get a salad and I have tried the southern salad which is like a fried chicken salad with pecans, avocado greens and ranch dressing...very tasty and fresh; the Cesear salad and soup of the day, also good and I tried the French dip on another visit. A good sandwich when Iâm ready to not count carbs! My lunch companion usually gets a burger of some sort which must be good, as that is his lunch choice most days. I would say they food is good and the service has always been excellent but be prepared to pay. Our bill is always around $40 for two with tea. Salads are around $15-$18 and sandwiches can be pricey as well. The atmosphere is a little dark, which I find soothing in the middle of a hot summer day. Plenty of parking available.

While we frequently eat at Cracker Barrelâs, todayâs service was exceptional. Our server, Will promptly appeared with a pleasant smile and cheery greeting. Since we are very familiar with the menu we were prepared to place an order. Will took the order and quickly reappeared with our drinks. Will said the kitchen had gotten behind but our food was on itâs way. Food was good and our service was fantastic! I hope management recognizes this young server Will as a great employee. It was my first time out in three weeks as I am suffering from a very painful back/ spine problem. Thanks for making my day.

Slow smoked Bar-B-Q, sweet Southern hospitality in a relaxed atmosphere. All scratch-made trimmings, fabulous salads, rolling-pin-fresh pies and famous for our cheese biscuits. Full bar, catering, private dining, outdoor seating, drive-thru, to-go all ava
When I arrived and went in there was a man who seated me who wasn't very friendly. He seemed like he needed a vacation. The waitress was right to my table, brought drink and took order. I had a salad and baked potato. Both were delicious as we're the cheese biscuits. The biscuits had more of a texture of muffins. They were very good. The restaurant was clean. Waitress very nice, had a great smile. Most definitely would recommend.

We used call ahead waiting. Walked right in and were seated upon arrival. I don't recommend the fried pickles, the pickles are so thin, it's basically fried batter. I had the Portabella Mushroom Chicken, which was amazing! Quite delicious. The salad was amazing as well. I filled up on salad and delicious rolls so I had to take my actual meal home with me, but even the next day it was quite savory delicious!

Always fun and tasty to grab a bite at the Depot!! Their burgers at juicy and fresh, the Reubens and Philly Cheesesteak, smothered in onions and peppers, are also favorites! Grab a combo and sit on the deck and enjoy the view of Buck Creek in the heart of Old Town Helena! The owner, Matt, is a big supporter of Helena and gives back to his community. We are so glad to have not only good food available to us, but a great location and caring owner and employees. All this makes it worth the trip from surrounding communities or from just down the street!

I stopped here for lunch based on my experience at Champy's near UTC in Chattanooga, and also based on the website. While the Chattanooga location had a bustling, party atmosphere this was more like a sleepy meat and three.Service and food were both OK, but again not as good. Only two servers and few customers at lunch, and while I wasn't ignored it was slow. The food, which I think is exactly what I ordered in Chatanooga, was also not as good, mainly because the chicken was slightly undercooked and therefore a little bit stringy. They did offer a great craft beer from a Birmingham brewer. Apparently they have live music and perhaps the scene is a little more lively then. But my last Champy's visit was a lunch too. Still an OK stop for fried chicken especially if you enjoy a beer with your food.
