The Rouxpour is a New Orleans inspired restaurant with four locations in Houstonâs surrounding areas. Known for our delicious variety of chargrilled oysters, fresh seafood and inviting atmosphere you are sure to love being our guest.
Went in for dinner. Was seated quickly, but too close to the area where the food is brought out, which made for a very busy area. Our waiter was very friendly and offered some ideas on what to order. As neither of us was overly hungry, we opted for a bowl of the gumbo. It was very good, but spicy. They only give you one piece of small bread to go with the bowl, and we felt they should have at least supplied a couple of pieces. The portion was decent, but if someone is very hungry, it would not have been enough. Prices are a little high, but what I saw on plates going by is some of the choices have large portions.

We came here for lunch based on word of mouth from a colleague. We were all so glad we did. We were promptly seated and our server, Jasmine, was friendly and informative. We started with the deviled eggs and the fried green tomatoes. The deviled eggs were an interesting twist on a classic and the fried green tomatoes were thick slices of green tomatoes fried to perfection in a crispy batter. I ordered the bacon and egg salad which came with a Scottish egg. My colleagues ordered a chicken sandwich, and other salads. Everyone was amazed at how tasty the food was and how fresh everything tasted. Our server kept reminding us that the name of the restaurant was called Whiskey cake and that we should really try the whiskey cake for desert. Not normally having desert with lunch, we were reluctant. After discussing how good everything was we decided to split one whiskey cake. The whiskey cake restaurant was well named after this cake. The whip cream and the dense warm cake together were an extraordinary desert. I was hoping weâd come back here for a 2nd lunch but the trip was short and we were working a few miles south of this place so we never made it back⦠This trip! Next time for sure!

Convivial chain dishing up hearty portions of New Orleans-style seafood, steaks, salads & more.
Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen offers a quality seafood experience in the William P. Hobby Airport, Houston. This is not a typical airport fareâthe restaurant serves a real, very tasty food and drinks with all the efficiency needed for a busy airport. The restaurant is crowded, but we had no trouble getting our bags to our seat. The host and service staff were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and quite busy. I especially noted how the servers kept an eye on traveler needs and jumped quick help folks get in and out to meet travel requirements. The menu was surprisingâplenty of choices for fried and non-fried seafood dishes and some non-seafood offeringsâpretty much the menu youâd expect an any full-service restaurant of this type, yet in an airport. All the food we ordered was fantastic and included ample portions. The prices matched the quality. Overall, I rate Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen at William P. Hobby Airport as a high value for engaged and friendly service, very good food, perfect price points, and location in a busy airport where more quality food is always needed. One of my favorite airport restaurants. Highly recommended.

A fine dining steakhouse with real chefs doing the cooking, everything is made from scratch. We are a great space for private parties and can accommodate all manner of diets and price ranges. Mon/Tues. all day Happy Hour with specials in the bar. Wed-Fri.
The service was outstanding. We were served by a very warm and attentive waitress. The food was prepared wonderfully and meet all of my expectations. The only recommendations I could offer is to filter your drinking water, I found it to have an unpleasant smell and taste. I would highly recommend Killenâs Steakhouse to friends and relatives. Their steaks are excellent.

Pappas Seafood House has been serving up generous portions of delicious seafood since opening in 1981. Owners Chris and Harris Pappas descend from a long line of Greek fisherman and from these roots provide their Guest the freshest seafood available.
Has a dinner here and it has been a while since we live the other side of Houston. The food is still excellent and service prompt. I had Salmon Alexander and it the perfection. Salmon was crispy on the outside and super moist inside. Scallops and shrimps were also perfectly cooked. The sauce , I was afraid to think about the calories but it was so delicious, made me dip the bread and eat more than I should have. Husband had pasta with shrimp which he said was absolutely delicious.Wonderful dinning experience every time we visit.

They have AMAZING burgers! I went twice and tried different types and both were amazing. They say their secret is the Angus beef they use but, to get that taste, there must be something they're not telling us. I'd also recommend their Cajun Fries...mmmmmm!

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Perryâs has earned a faithful following by perfecting prime since it began as a butcher shop in Texas in 1979. A renowned group of award-winning restaurants perfect for intimate dinners, business meetings and special even
We dropped by the restaurant and were seated immediately around 1:30 PM. The restaurant was busy so we were surprised we were seated so quickly so the quick seating was a surprise. The service was good with the busy time. We ordered shortly after seating and the food came in a reasonable time. We had the Chef's special Filet which was bacon wrapped and had crab meat on top. The filet was good but not outstanding and therefore not necessarily a good value for the price. Not sure we would dine there often.

Absolutely, hands down the best BBQ in the Houston area. Juicy, tender smoked meat. So flavorful without any added sauce! We had a variety of meat, beef rib was amazing, turkey was tender and delicious, brisket again, tender and delicious and the most scrumptious smoked pork ribs. Had the mac & cheese as my side and was the creamiest dish I had in Texas. We made a reservation only an hour before arriving there. It gets pretty busy so would recommend a reservation. Serving staff were friendly and efficient and had good suggestions for food choices. The pecan pie was very good as well. Don't miss this BBQ joint when in Texas!

We always enjoy visiting Perryâs when Iâm at NASA Johnson Space Center. The good is excellent as is the service. On Wednesdayâs for lunch, you can get the absolute best pork chop Iâve ever had for $15 and itâs gigantic. Good selection of wine and beers as well.
