Mc Graths can be counted on for consistently very good food at reasonable prices. Casual dinning at local favorite place. Had the best burger ever. McGraths will prepare, the burger to your preference. I like mine ordered rare so as it continues to cook it is still just right. The McGrath Burger is served on a brioche with garganzola cheese , lots of bacon cooked right (Not so crisp that it splinters) , topped with a fried tomato (as in breaded and fried). The sweet potato fries were delicious. Can be a bit noisy and lots of families with kids - but that is the spirit of the place .
The KFC food is usual; at this particular KFC I find the service people to be very pleasant and usually expeditious. They keep the place clean and considering Pawling, NY has little to no fast food places such as MacDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's etc. it is a small comfort that the one place we have is pretty good for its food and service.

We were on the way home to Long Island and we stopped for a quick dinner at the Diner. The food choices were many, the server very nice. I got a tuna deluxe melt...it was ok, kind of tasteless. My husband got the fish and chips...it was ok. Nothing bad, just very ordinary. Not a large diner type portion, just adequate.I think you could find a better choice for dinner.

During the week we are a coffeehouse/cafe. Breakfast all day! Lunch. Vegan and Gluten Free options. Saturday's are the same. Order at the register, grab a seat and we bring it to you! Sunday is a Champagne brunch from 9-3pm. Table service with LIVE MUSIC.
We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and were excited to see that there were a number of happy late lunchers. We ordered breakfast for lunch, omelets with toast and potatoes. It was all excellent. Actually, everything was made very well. The omelet was full of goodies. The bread was a good quality. And there were so many potatoes that I had leftovers. Seating is comfortable and staff are very pleasant. Cannot wait for an excuse to go back.

Food Truck. 20 years in same spot.
The food is first rate. What a great idea. A permanently placed food vendor truck with furniture and landscaping. Leaves the owners more time to focus on preparing great food for their guests. I was introduced by a friend who lives in the area and I'm hooked for life. I'll never be able to pass by without stopping for a bite.

Karen's is conveniently located on Rt 22 north bound in Pawling NY. This restaurant sticks to specializing in breakfast and lunch. Food is always freshly prepared and very tasty.Decor is bright and pleasant. Staff is very efficient and friendly. Plenty of off road parking in their lot. There is some outdoor seating set far enough back from the road to be enjoyable. Prices are very reasonable and the menu has a good selection, including sweet treats. Now a regular stop by myself, family, and friends.

Very popular restaurant located in the Mid-Hudson Valley, NY. Locals as well as weekend destination for their brunch from the City.
We met there for lunch and it was delightful. Service was quick. We had fried calamari (not greasy with a light crust), special salad (with salmon) and Tuscan sandwich (both succulent dishes), carrot cake and Linzer tart. The Linzer which generally is too sweet in the US was perfect: clearly they didn't use commercial raspberry jam but made their own holding back on the sugar. Just perfect. The coffee also was delicious. Definitely recommended!

Loved our experience hear, great music, good acoustics, yummy food and drinks where you can actually taste some alcohol. Good vegetarian choices. Only negatives were people talking very loudly and the tables are close together (but we asked to be moved and our server was able to accommodate us) and I donât care for the extra charge for substitutions.I did see the other reviews of high concert fees, and poor food/ service during shows so we canât comment on that. I loved that there was no cover charge and we saw a quality band.

Everything weâve ever ordered here has been great. The sweet potato fries are the BOMB! The staff is attentive and professional. The only gripe is itâs always packed- but thatâs because the food is great. Itâs a dated decor, but my husband thinks itâs purposeful. Bottom line, itâs a good value.
