Went here after trying one of their other restaurants earlier in the week. Had ribs, brisket and pulled pork with fries and beans. It was brilliant. My wife had turkey and spicy sausage with butternut squash mash and mac and cheese. She really enjoyed and said it was best turkey she has ever had. There was also a toppings bar (onions, pickle, etc). Highly recommended. If in the area eat here!

Amazing Restaurant! Can't believe that it's not already listed.
This restaurant has several great locations. Each one of them are equally historical about their family. Houston is proud of each. Good country cooking with great service. Make each of their locations a must visit. Major Dan has made this restaurant in to a must place to revisit

We just happened upon this restaurant in South Houston (about 3-4 mi. south of loop 610) and we were so fortunate. They have an extensive menu for a cafe. The pancakes are large, thick, but not too heavy, and of course good. They have something called a steam bar, where you pick out an entree out of several choices, vegetables, and a salad if you desire. The entrees are a large serving. The food is very good. They can probably seat about a hundred folks so there is not usually a wait. The prices are very reasonable. Parking is at a premium, and be careful about parking in the next door McDonald's, because they have signs that threaten towing your car. The location is just about a mile east of the Gulf Freeway (I45). We will stop here every time we are in Houston, in route to Galveston.

Convivial chain dishing up hearty portions of New Orleans-style seafood, steaks, salads & more.
Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen offers a quality seafood experience in the William P. Hobby Airport, Houston. This is not a typical airport fareâthe restaurant serves a real, very tasty food and drinks with all the efficiency needed for a busy airport. The restaurant is crowded, but we had no trouble getting our bags to our seat. The host and service staff were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and quite busy. I especially noted how the servers kept an eye on traveler needs and jumped quick help folks get in and out to meet travel requirements. The menu was surprisingâplenty of choices for fried and non-fried seafood dishes and some non-seafood offeringsâpretty much the menu youâd expect an any full-service restaurant of this type, yet in an airport. All the food we ordered was fantastic and included ample portions. The prices matched the quality. Overall, I rate Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen at William P. Hobby Airport as a high value for engaged and friendly service, very good food, perfect price points, and location in a busy airport where more quality food is always needed. One of my favorite airport restaurants. Highly recommended.

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margar
Always a decent meal at Texas Roadhouse. The salad is a very good option for one of two sides when ordering your entree. I had forgotten to tell them to ease up on the salt on the smothered chicken. The mushrooms were way over salted and I had forgotten this from a previous experience. I like well seasoned food but way too salty. The sweet potato is a nice portion and enjoyable as are their fresh baked rolls. Good service rounds out the meal experience. This restaurant is not exactly a good venue for conversation or romantic dinner because itâs noisy, but the food is consistently good.

A classic 1950s diner meets energetic, fun sports bar, Pappas Burger is more than your typical burger joint; it's a one-of-a-kind burger haven serving Texas size burgers with fresh and flavorful toppings since 2001.
Best shakes around and they are all good. I've tried them all.The other food I good also. Large servings. Good variety from burgers to salads.Even have some gluten free choices. Their service is good and they are concerned about you making your flight. And oh ya, did I say the shakes are great. You need those big straws cause they are thick. Enjoy.

Went with colleagues at lunch. Service is good but the food was just meh. The brisket lacked any flavor until dipped in bbq sauce, sausage was good. The potato salad was runny. Highlight of our meal was the fried okra, and even thereâs only so much of that one can eat.

First let me say, if you close your eyes and pretend you are in NOLA you will not be disappointed with your meal. This place has all my favorites. My go to place to get my Cajun fix. Great staff and great prices. If youâre ever in the area it is worth a trip, everything is good. Red beans and rice, Gumbo, fried seafood.... never a bad meal.
